I’ll try to make it short.
When I met him (a client of mine), he was new to his business. And he needed to market it. Get people in the door. Build up his clientele. And he was spending so much money. On a cold market. Yikes.
He thought he was doing great. Because he’d get a deal here, a deal there. But when we measured it later, he barely broke even.
And it was kinda miserable for him. Because here were people who didn’t know him. And he didn’t know them. So, he spent so much effort, money, and time trying to build trust and rapport. Well, you know the drill. Right?
So, when I started working with him, we laser focused on another marketing unit of his business. And that made all the difference in the world for him.
He started to enjoy what he was doing. Enjoying the people he talked to. And more people presented themselves to him. Because of the strategies we put together. He wondered why he hadn’t done it from the beginning.
Because nobody taught him about the 3 units of business I showed him.
People get in business, and they typically go, “OK, I gotta go spend money to make money.” And that’s true…to an extent.
But there are different marketing units you can develop in your business. And a couple, in particular…there are 3, but I’m giving you a hint. 2 out of the 3 are so much more fun than the one most people undertake.
I’m not gonna tell you what that is.
