Ah…there’s nothing like the day to day grind. Am I right? What? Are you shaking your head in disagreement? Well, I never. Yeah, never want you to grind your way through life. That’s why I shared this…
Working ON your business helps you grow out of the day to day grind.
I have no doubt you’re excellent at working IN your business. And I mean those to-do lists and operations you gotta get done.
Because technical issues pop up. And you gotta deal with ’em. Customers and clients might call with issues. And you gotta deal with ’em. Then, there’s all those administration tasks.
But, as I said, that’s all about working IN your business.
And it’s crucial to work ON it. Because that’s where the real CEO part comes into play. And the more you can automate your business and delegate to others, the more CEO you become.
Wanna separate yourself from the 5, 10, 20, or more years of the day to day grind? Then you gotta work ON your business. The people who figure out how to get out of the hamster wheel (hopefully pretty early) DO get out of that grind. Because they learn how to keep growing business so they can actually grow out of it.
So, ask yourself these questions and write down your answers.
- What kind of time do you put aside to work ON your business?
- Do you have a daily focus to put time aside for working ON your business?
- And what time of day works best for you?
Your answers can help you make sure you do the CEO stuff FIRST. And that’s a big deal.
Because you can jump back into the day-to-day grind anytime. And, of course, you gotta get that stuff done. Otherwise you’ll lose business.
But it’s important to make it a daily ritual to work on your CEO part. The part you dreamed about when you started your business. Or at least set aside a couple times a week with bigger blocks of time. Start planning strategies. And create a system that’ll help replace YOU.
If you’d prefer to not start your system from scratch, then plug your business into my RondaReady System. Because I designed it to help you get back to doing what only YOU can do for your business.
