Entrepreneur definition
If you’re asking, “What’s an entrepreneur definition? And why does anybody care?”…then you might not be one. Nothing wrong with that. But I love entrepreneurs, and I’ve noticed several places, lately, where people have been looking for a clear definition. Based on my experience working with them, here are some of my thoughts…
A entrepreneur definition should include how they’re different from everybody else
If you’re an entrepreneur, you’re probably an excellent problem solver. Or you at least have the willingness to problem solve. And that puts you ahead of about 99% of everybody else. It seems like most people don’t even want to take the responsibility for problems. Much less solve them.
I met with someone, the other day, who was a little miffed about that….to say the least. He said he sees such a lack of initiative in so many people. In fact, he believes the majority of people just want to be told what to do. That sounds so sad to me. But I get it. Running a business is about so much more than showing up 8 or 9 to 5. As an entrepreneur, you’re responsible for every detail of the business. You don’t get to leave the decisions to someone else. And sometimes, if you don’t find solutions, they just plain don’t get found.
And there’s nothing more stressful than unsolved problems. But, if you’re a tried and true entrepreneur, you’re not afraid to tackle problems…or reach out and find some help.
So I think my favorite entrepreneur definition is: problem solvers. And if that describes you, the RondaReady online business coach CRM system could be the business building solution you’ve been looking for. I’m pulling for you.
