“Exactly what he needs,” she said. And “she” is a client of mine, Heidi, who has run her business on the RondaReady System for a few years now. But I’ll let her tell you who “he” is. So, here’s more of what she told me in one of our recent meetings at a local spot here in Colorado Springs.
“The biggest issue I was struggling with, in my business…
I wanted to quit, like, every other week. I wasn’t making any money. And I was super inefficient. And time management has always been a struggle for me. But I just wasn’t making any money.”
(However, since setting up the RondaReady System for her business…)
“It’s been great. My sales are up about 600% over the last 4 or 5 years. I’m very efficient, very focused, very intentional. My goals are being met. I’ve accomplished things such as going on vacation. And things I never dreamed were possible. I have my dream car.
Just everything. And it’s been focused and intentional. I’m still in business and loving it.”
And what skills did Heidi learn that helped her get those results?
“Accomplished goals. Efficient systems established. And I document everything. I’m able to delegate and hand things off to employees that I now have. And just being held accountable.”
(But what if Heidi and started sooner in life? Would that have helped?)
And could it have saved her any time, money, or frustration?
“Oh yeah. A ton of frustration. If I would’ve done it 5 years earlier, I’d be golden right now. But I beat my head against the wall, tryin’ to figure things out on my own. And Ronda totally paved the road for me.”
I asked Heidi if she thought traditional schooling prepares young people for what comes after school. And I related it to her own son. (Of course, I hoped she’d say it’s exactly what he needs.) And she said…
“No. It actually kind of set him back. He was in a very high performing school. And he never could meet the grade with everybody else. And so, he felt less than all the time, and it really hurt his self-esteem. So, I was just with him this weekend asking him about that. He said school did not prepare him for anything.
And most of his success, today, he learned on his own with self-help books, and things like that. And creating disciplines that he’s learned through the process. So, this seems like a testament, but you have to take things into your own hands. Develop yourself. Invest in yourself. And learn tools that are gonna make you successful.
And this program, I think, is exactly what he needs.”
If your son or daughter is reaching that age when it’s almost time to go out into the world on their own, then they should be prepared to be successful. But unfortunately, too many young people find the only options are a bunch of job applications. Or a university where they might get a degree that won’t help them earn enough to pay back the student loan. And those are terrible options.
So, that’s why I’m developing a better option. And it’s part of my RondaReady UNversity. Because I wanna help more young people about to leave the comforts of the home they’ve known so far. It’s called Real Skills for Real Life. Yes, I’m biased. But I think it’s exactly what he or she needs.
Be sure to sign up for my emails so you can be notified when this business building option will be available. Because I don’t think you should have to spend tens (and even hundreds) of thousands of dollars on a University degree with a potential zero return on investment. And especially not when you can invest a fraction of that and give your kids the skills they can use to build their own empire. And that’s an empire where you could be cared for in your sunset years.
Stay Ready,
Ronda
