During a recent client meeting, we were going over the part of my RondaReady System called “Clarity of Purpose.” And it reminded me of another client, a couple of years ago, who kept asking how and why questions. And I kept saying, “Remember what you wrote down for your clarity of purpose.” Well, after about the third time, he said, “Wow, it feels just like when I work my core strength with my personal trainer. He makes me focus on routines so my mind and body work in sync.”
And there’s the extremely important reason why you focus on routines.
That’s just a two dollar, five syllable word that translates into “well-oiled machine.”
It’s crucial to focus on routines for your physical health. But it’s even more important to work on your other core strengths. Mental. Emotional. Spiritual. You gotta build up ALL your parts.
And the same is true in business. But what does that look like? Well, you start with your foundation. Because it’ll support your vision and dreams. And I help my clients set up their foundation on five essential building blocks…
- Clarity of purpose
- Schedule control
- Relationship building
- Performance measurement
- Systems creation
So, think of those building blocks as your core. And without core strength in your business you’ll suffer injuries. Just like the guy in the gym who tosses up too much weight. And serious injuries to your business can cause pain and suffering in just about every part of your life.
Establish your business core strength for the best YOU.
Here’s what my client, Beth, said about it…
Notice how she said, “I don’t have to worry about the basics. I can be more creative because I’ve got the basics down. And that’s what I like anyway. Don’t really like dealing with the basics. I like the creative part.”
Do you get the idea she doesn’t like the basics? Yeah, I think that’s most business owners. I know I’m like that. Anyone with that entrepreneurial spirit prefers to work on the creative part. But, like I said, you gotta build that core strength. And, in business, you do that with a focus on routines. Until they’re set up and running.
Like a well-oiled machine.
You can get to that point a lot faster. And the Clarity of Purpose section of my RondaReady System is just a fraction of what you’ll get in my Blueprint for Success called “Envision Your Future.” And the Blueprint is yours when you sign up for my free daily emails.
