I know I talk a lot about getting ready and staying ready. It’s even in my branding. And a version of it is almost always the last thing I say in each of my posts. But it’s because I believe there’s nothing more important for business owners to understand. Business is not for the weak and unprepared.
So, allow time for getting ready.
Because getting ready is just a matter of processes and procedures. And when you put those in place, it’s as easy as A, B, C. And 1,2,3.
Can’t you just see little Michael and the Jackson 5 singin’ it right now?
A, B, C…easy as 1,2,3,
Ah, simple as Do, Re, Mi.
A,B,C…1,2,3…Baby you and me, now.
OK, now I’m in the mood to listen to music. Not take care of business.
But because I’m here for you, I’ll get back to the point.
Business can get hot AND cold. For everyone. This world of business, you chose, doesn’t care how nice you are or how much you know. And it doesn’t care how wonderful your products and services are. It doesn’t even care how much you care. That’s reality.
Business is all about processes and procedures.
That’s why you gotta get ready for it.
Take the real estate market, for example. Because it certainly has more than its fair share of ups and downs. And here’s what happens. When it’s all going great, real estate agents are too busy to do effective marketing. And when sales and listings are slow and low, fear often sets in. Then it feels like there’s not enough money to do any effective marketing.
But that’s when Mr. or Ms. Savvy Business Owner taps into their system. A proven system to help them through ups AND downs. Because they know how consistent and predictable income sure beats wondering where and when the next commission will be.
And they know their proven system can help…
- Always stay in front of your database (even with an automated process)
- Find and secure more prospects to share your services with (automation works there, too)
- Develop automated workflows so nothing falls through the cracks
And there’s more to it. But when you set up processes and procedures, in the first place, they save you sooooo much time. That’s why I’m gonna be talking about processes and procedures in February’s UNversity class. UNversity classes are the first Thursday of every month. But the deadline to enroll, and be in time for the next class, is always the last day of this month.
And that would be a January 31 deadline for the February 3 class. Enroll now at the link below.
Stay Ready,
Ronda
