March Madness. Sounds like something you’d suffer from if you drank too much of that green beer, I mentioned yesterday, on St. Patrick’s Day. But apparently it’s not about being loopy. It’s about being hoopy. Ooh, that’s a bad pun. And you probably already know I’m talking about the college men’s basketball tournament to determine the national champions.
An acquaintance mentioned the March Madness predictions going on where he works.
And being the huge basketball fan I am (not really) I was curious why it was such a big deal. You would have thought I just said something derogatory about his dog. And then I got more of the lowdown than I could have ever bargained for.
If I understand it right, the whole tournament starts out, in March of course, with 68 college basketball teams. And this all started in 1939, by the way. Evidently the 68 teams are divided into 4 regions. And they organize them into something they call “single-elimination brackets.”
At the mention of “brackets” I was shown a diagram of them. And it looks like the schematic to a radio. Or maybe the layout of the inside of a computer. Wow, these basketball organizers and teams are really serious about this.
The brackets help keep track of who’s playing which. And when a team wins a game, they see who they’ll play next. Wins and losses determine which teams are eliminated. And they work their way down to the “Sweet Sixteen.”
From there, wins and losses determine who’ll be in the “Final Four.” And of course, winners of those two games will be the finalists.
And this madness goes on mostly in March.
So, imagine how much coordination it takes to make all this happen. Not just scheduling the teams. But also the advertising and marketing for the event, TV, radio, and online. And hotel bookings, airline and other travel arrangements…not to mention (although I’m mentioning it) all the food for everybody.
A sporting event, where tens of millions of people get involved, has tons and tons of details to work out.
And I can’t imagine how they get it all done if they’re not using my RondaReady System.
But maybe they just haven’t heard about it. I can see how that might happen. It’s a big world, and maybe not everybody has seen my videos, listened to my podcast, or read any of my blog posts or emails. But since they haven’t, you can use that to your advantage.
Yeah, you can enroll in my monthly RondaReady and get a jump on all those other people who are running around looking for a way to organize their businesses.
RondaReady UNversity is hands-on how-to coaching to help you build your business better and faster with a proven system. And monthly tuition is only $15. That’s only 50 cents a day. What else can you get for 50 cents?
But remember, tardiness won’t be tolerated. The deadline to enroll, and be in time for the next class on April 1st, is March 31st. After that, you can still enroll, but you’ll have to wait for the next month’s class. Keep in mind…you can cancel anytime. But dropouts will drop out forever.
My suggestion is…join today. While it’s fresh in your mind. And Get Ready to Be Ready and be the highly organized CEO of your own business, and…
Stay Ready,
