There’s no shortage of self-help articles, books, blog posts, and websites on the subject. Passion or purpose? And I recently read an article that put it in perspective in one sentence. “Passion is about serving yourself. Purpose is about serving others.”
So, I think it’s not a matter of passion OR purpose.
I lean more toward finding and pursuing your purpose. Because it tends to work out that when do that, you find your market. And when you serve that market well, don’t be surprised how that can stir up a fire of passion no one can put out.
So, maybe forget the whole passion or purpose debate. Just be careful about putting all your passion into something nobody cares about but you. ‘Cause when that happens, it’s amazing how fast your passion can burn out. Instead, focus your passion on your purpose, develop a system, and build your business.
First, think about your passion:
-
- What sparks excitement and joy in your personal life or professional life?
- Do you love to learn new stuff? If so, what kind of stuff do you love most?
- Is there something you do where hours go by and feel like minutes?
- Is there something you’d do, even if you had to do it for free?
- What are your best skills or talents?
OK, now think about your purpose:
- Would you like to teach?
- Do like to help others reach their goals?
- Wanna see better results in your community?
- Could your invention, product, or service make lives better?
- Are you concerned about happier workers? Or families?
You get the idea. Right?
My purpose has been to help business owners and entrepreneurs (and those who want to be) get where they need and want to go. Better and faster. And I know it takes a System to do that. Believe me I know. Because I trudged along, for a while, before I built the RondaReady System. So, I know what a relief it is to be able to soar instead of trudge.
And I believe my System is the best one going. Because it has something no other system has. Me. And it’s the only CRM with a built in business coach. Or the only business coach with a built in CRM.
But maybe you’re not ready to invest that much in yourself and your business. No problem. I have another option. A low-cost monthly business how-to lesson with the aforementioned, ME.
And you’ve still got time to enroll before the deadline for June’s lesson on in-flow customer communication. Midnight, May 31 is that deadline.
But don’t put it off till then. Because some bling-bling might catch your eye, on Amazon. And then you’ll spend your hard-earned money on something that’ll never make your money back. Forget that silly idea. And take advantage of your handy dandy link, below. A $15 monthly investment in your passion or purpose or both. But if you can’t get passionate about that, then, by all means, go bling-bling.
If, on the other hand, you’re someone who’d like to take purpose further, faster, click or tap the link.
