Think about this when you get some time this weekend. You gotta prioritize work. Well, it’s not a law. But if you don’t, you might never get past being self-employed. And I’d hate to think you wouldn’t put in a measly two hours a week to avoid that. Here’s a video of what I shared about this a while back. And it’s still true.
Prioritize this work for 2 hours a week. And it’s not about To-Do lists.
Definitely don’t go through a list of your daily tasks. No, this is big level, TOP level priorities. Set your day-to-day grind aside while you do this. Because you gotta put in a couple of hours, every week, to work ON your business. This should be a non-negotiable you make with yourself.
Maybe it sounds SO difficult, at first. And you might think, “Ronda, I can’t take a couple of hours away from my business! I’m way too busy for that.”
If your business is booming like that, great. But, the more you put off working ON your business, the more you leave on the table. And here’s what I mean.
For the sake of argument (so to speak), let’s say your idea of organization is a neat and clean desk and office. Fine. But that’s not the kind of organization I mean.
I’m talking about the CEO organization stuff. When you take the necessary time to document processes to replicate yourself. And bring in more income. And have more time. Because that’s what can help you make a much bigger impact on the people you serve.
And you gotta do those things to be an effective CEO.
So, don’t put off the tough stuff in your business even one more day. And believe me, I know it’s difficult. At first. But it’s SO necessary. At least if you wanna get to that level you always dreamed of when you started your business.
And I call it front loading. The work you do up front so you don’t have to do it over and over. And then it starts going on its own. Like I talk about all through my RondaReady System. Get Ready and Be Ready, so you can Stay Ready.
The longer you put it off, the more you’ll wish you listened to me now. And I sure don’t wanna see you, 5 or 10 years from now, burned out. Hating your business. Wondering why you worked so hard on it in the first place.
I’m talking Two Hours A Week to commit to working ON your business. To get an automated system. So you can replicate yourself so your business doesn’t rely on you.
The typical business owner doesn’t do that.
Are you typical? I’ll bet you’re not.
So, when you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you prioritize work and…
Stay Ready,
Ronda
