I remember a relative who talked about being teased, back in the day, for wearing glasses. Kids would call him “four eyes” (kids can be so cruel, can’t they). These days a lot more people wear glasses, so thankfully that kind of teasing isn’t so common anymore.
And I’m gonna show you how four eyes can be a big advantage.
Now, don’t rush out and get yourself a prescription or fake glasses. Because I don’t mean that kind of four eyes. No, I mean four actual, real eyes. And I’m gonna show you how you can have them and NOT be some kind of science fiction monster. Let me tell you a story.
Randy and Emma were a great team. Anybody who watched them in action said so. They ran a quaint little bakery called “Bliss Bake” in the heart of their small town. And it all started a decade ago when they decided to turn their shared passion for baking into a business.
It was so cool how a few cupcakes and cookies in their home kitchen turned into a local establishment enjoyed and loved by so many.
Emma was the creative one. She managed the kitchen and made delightful pastries, and other goodies, with unique flavors their customers just couldn’t resist.
And Randy’s forté was more on the business side. So, he managed marketing, customer communications, and the other technical parts. You could say their complementary skills and four eyes on the same goals were the secret ingredients to their success. In fact, I just did.
Every morning, Emma and Randy woke up before dawn. And they prepared the dough, baked the goodies, and did all the decorations. Friends and family often talked about how the two of them would laugh and tell stories as they worked. No wonder they named the place Bliss Bake.
So, customers adored them, not just for their delectable treats but also for their warm, welcoming personalities. The couple knew most of their regulars by name. And they almost always took the time to chat. When you visited their bake shop, you were treated more like part of the family.
And that led to a LOT of business.
So much business that Randy realized he needed a way to streamline a lot of the behind-the-scenes work. And he looked online for some help.
That’s when he discovered a humble, little business system hub where he could plug in the Bliss Bake website and operations and set up some great automation. And long story just a little shorter? Emma and Randy grew their business, better and faster, both online and at the shop.
Of course, I would never tell you that you and your spouse or sibling or friend will get the same kind of results. Because, well, I don’t know you. But I DO know that if you and someone you trust can work together the way Randy and Emma did, you can experience more sugar and spice than sorrow and stress.
Schedule a time to talk with me about how setting up a hub could help you build your business better and faster so you can focus more on what YOU love, too.
