After a door plug blew out from an Alaska Airlines flight in January, more people have been nervous to fly. And I think it should be fairly obvious why. Right? Here’s another thing to consider, though. Planes DO sometimes make emergency landings. But, according to well-kept, public records, it’s rare that anyone is seriously hurt.
But still, a significant number of people are nervous to fly.
And that’s despite the news that I read that said, “Major U.S. airlines are in the midst of a remarkable safety streak, with none of them having a fatal crash in the U.S. in 15 years.”
Did you catch that?
NO major U.S. airlines have had a fatal crash in 15 years. Amazing! Compare that to how many car crashes happened, across America, just TODAY. I’ll bet that number isn’t “none.” Don’t you?
Now, check out this info I found on a news website. It said, “The FAA handles 45,000 flights per day with 2.9 million passengers aboard. And data from the National Transportation Safety Board shows only a handful of problems on commercial passenger jets happen in any given month.”
On a slight rabbit trail, I just got a visual of 2.9 million people up there in the sky every day. Boggles the mind. Especially when you consider it was only about 120 years ago that people first started getting airplanes to fly. Wow.
OK, where was I? Oh yeah. Nervous fliers.
So, here are some reasons why you don’t have to be nervous to fly.
- Planes are made with multiples of the important parts
- Pilots and crews train extensively to prepare for things going wrong
- Emergency landings aren’t necessarily “emergencies”
- Even injuries from turbulence are still fairly rare
And major U.S. airlines have stringent systems in place to keep their planes in flight-ready condition. So, the nearly 16 billion people who were in the air over the past 15 years made it to their destinations alive.
That’s the power of setting things up, well, before you even get started.
And that brings me to my RondaReady Hub System. Let’s say your business (or the business you’d like to have) is an airplane. And let’s say you’d like to keep that plane in the air, crash-free, for as long as possible. Well, you’re either gonna need a great team of people, or you’re gonna need a system to help you automate a lot of what you do.
When you just get going, you usually can’t afford the great team of people. So, that’s the best time to set your business up in my System. But I don’t wanna try to convince you how awesome it is from here. I’d rather you let me know if you’d like to talk about how a business hub could work for YOU. Here’s your link to do that:
