Well, let’s put it this way. Business coaching CAN be very bad for you. And it really comes down to who’s coaching. And how good their information is.
Because business coaching from friends and relatives can sabotage you.
Before you get mad at me because you think I’m talking trash about the people you care about most, hear me out. Believe me, I know how important it is to have friends and family on your side. Especially when you go out into the real world with nothing but a dream, a lot of coffee, and a bunch of passion.
When your family and friends support your dreams of owning a business, it can be awesome. Because that’s when they’ll give you encouragement and plenty of moral support.
But if those loved ones don’t actually know what it takes to run a successful business, sometimes their advice CAN sabotage your better judgment and efforts. Even if that’s not their intention. But sometimes good intentions need to take a back seat to good advice.
I read an article that mentioned a bunch of benefits that come with business coaching. And keep in mind, we’re talking about someone with a track record of helping business owners and dreamers get where they wanna go, much better and faster.
A professional business coach can:
- Help you focus your vision
- Show you how to set goals and create a plan to reach them
- Keep things private so your stumbles and falls aren’t exposed as you learn
- Help you focus on and understand your niche, your audience, your customers and clients
- Suggest other products and services you could offer
- Boost your confidence to be willing to take more risks
- Provide accountability you wouldn’t have on your own
The article listed a few more. But they basically reinforced the ones I just shared. And I’ve been helping clients do those things for a long time now. Many of them have gone from having hobbies that provided a trickle of income to running businesses that pay the bills. And many others have seen incomes of 5 figures go to 6 figures. And 6 figures go to 7.
I’ve mentioned, before, how a lot of those one-on-one clients have told me they wished they would’ve started when they were much younger. And that motivated me to create RondaReady YOUniversity. It’s a somewhat scaled-down version of my intensive business coaching. With the nuggets newbies need.
YOUniversity is designed especially for business owner and entrepreneur wannabes just starting out in the real world. If that’s you (or someone you know), I’d love to talk to you about it. Use the easy peasy calendar, below, and book a free call with me. Maybe the only thing holding back from your dreams is a clear cut system to get you there.
That’s where YOUniversity comes in. Let’s talk soon.
Stay Ready,
Ronda
