Choose your life and change the world
You don’t change the world just by living in it. World changers make tough choices. And they don’t do it by complaining and grumbling. In fact, I can say, from personal experience, they’re usually the first ones with a smile on their face and a song on their lips.
Do you think you can change the world, for the good, with a bad attitude?
That was a rhetorical question, by the way. Of course you can’t. When your mom or grandma, or someone else in charge, used to tell you to turn your frown upside down, they were looking out for you. And they wanted you to be able to see and be your best self. Read these words from an Eric Clapton song. And I dare you to say it doesn’t make you feel good.
“If I could change the world,
I would be the sunlight in your universe.
You would think my love was really something good,
Baby, If I could change the world.”
Everybody has certain gifts. Those skills or traits that make you uniquely you. That make you the sunlight in somebody’s universe. Do you know what yours are? And if so, do you make a daily conscious effort to share them with others? If you don’t, it shouldn’t come as any surprise to you when they don’t wanna share theirs with you either. Albert Einstein (you’ve heard of him, right?) said…
“Man is here for the sake of other men.”
Your life will be much more fulfilling when you pursue your purpose. And that purpose is to serve others the best way your special gifts will allow. If you’re not sure what yours are, ask the people closest to you. I’ll bet they’re willing to help you figure it out. And when you do, start living it. Keep your head up, look forward, and make that change.
And by the way, in case you didn’t know, I have a business coach CRM system that can help you keep track of your progress. It does sooo much more, too. So, remember, when you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…
