Somebody else. Is that the answer to the question, “Who controls your time?” If so, I can make a few predictions that I bet you agree with.
- You don’t like Mondays
- Tuesday through Friday aren’t much better
- Time seems to drag by during your work week
- The minute your vacation is done you’re planning the next one.
- You don’t feel appreciated.
So, how’d I do? One out of five? Five out of five?
Yeah, I know those feelings. Even though it’s been a long time since I worked in a job I didn’t like, I can remember thinking all those things.
That’s why it’s so important that YOU are who controls your time.
A few years ago I shared a quote from yours truly that said, “Business is like a whirlpool. Some drown.” I’ve seen it happen. More often than it should have.
A friend of mine shared a story of a scary situation he went through. And that’s what made me think of the whirlpool analogy. He told me how he, and a group of his friends, floated on inner tubes down a river in Texas. Everything was fine until he approached one of the rapids with about an eight foot drop.
Since he didn’t plan enough in advance how to navigate the approach correctly, he plunged right into the middle of the swirling whirlpool. That didn’t go well. Because the water flipped his inner tube over backwards and pulled him under immediately. You can imagine how scary that must have felt. Unable to see what was what. And the overwhelming feeling of water pushing you down.
Fortunately, he’s a good swimmer. And he quickly found the calmer water underneath and swam out and up to safety. But not before scraping his feet on hidden rocks in the water. Definitely a tough lesson to learn. Bumps, bruises, and cuts as a result of not being in control. So you see the importance of being the one who controls your time. Right?
All those so-called “urgent matters” of the day can be scaled down, and even eliminated, when you control your time. Stop drowning. Get out of the whirlpool. And take a nice swim toward your favorite sandy beach.
OK, enough of the drowning and swimming analogies.
Here’s what I want you to do. And hopefully you’re tired enough of someone else controlling your time to do it. Get my RondaReady System business book. It’s the only book with my proven system that can really help you reach your dreams and goals better and faster.
And it’s a relatively low-cost self-paced learning investment in YOU. Plus it can pay for itself over and over when you do what I teach you to do with your system.
The book is still at a great price of 40% off its normal price on Amazon. And you can get your copy of it, 24 hours a day, on Amazon. Your link is below. If it’s Tuesday where you are (as it is here), be the one who controls your time. And make it a terrific Tuesday so you can…
