Nose to the grindstone. Shoulder to the wheel. And pedal to the metal. Yeah, it’s time to get back to work after an extended holiday weekend.
But what if you’re just not in the mood to get back to work?
Especially if you had a blast over the weekend. And I know lots of people can say that today. Because I saw some of the 4th of July traffic and crowds. So, I know there are countless stories of awesome fireworks, food, and fun.
And I know it can feel a little bit like a letdown to get back to work mode after all that. Yeah. Been there, done that.
So, what’s a responsible adult to do?
Well, one suggestion I have is to ease yourself back into work mode. Don’t heap a ton of big stuff onto your “plate” right away. Start with the most important things on your list. And see if there are some easier ones you can check off pretty quickly. Because those checkmarks, on your list, can be like little positive reinforcement lights. And they can jumpstart you into moving forward again.
And that feeling of accomplishment helps clear your head for the more difficult work you’ll do.
I could give you lots of analogies and examples. But it really comes down to that perennial Nike catchphrase: “Just do it.” Right? Because it’s gotta get done.
So, just do it. Then it’s done.
One of the easier things you can do when you get back to work is to set up action steps in your CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System. And action steps help you do exactly what they say. Take action steps.
Just in case you don’t already have a CRM, and just in case you haven’t set up action steps before, my RondaReady System can jumpstart you in a big way. Because it comes with a CRM. And I show you exactly how to set up those action steps. And I show you how much they can help you.
Hopefully you didn’t spend all your savings on fireworks, food, and fun over this past weekend. Because my System isn’t a $5 pdf you can download and forget about. It’s an investment. One you should only get if you know you can get your clients and customers to pay for.
If that’s not you, I suggest you get my free emails first. That way we can stay in touch. And subscribers can ask me questions. And I answer them, personally. Your link is below.
(links to get my System can be found lots of other places here on the website)
Stay Ready,
