According to the information I read, this week, the Mexican Caribbean will see the upcoming annular solar eclipse on October 14th. And apparently they haven’t seen one there in about 40 years. Scientists, who keep track of these things, say it will be visible “throughout the country.”
And the area won’t see another solar eclipse until 2071.
So, this could truly be a once-in-a-lifetime event for many. If you’re astronomically inclined at all, you can probably guess how excited the people in that area are to be able to see it. And I read that “the southern states of Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo are in for a special treat with an impressive 90.5% sun coverage level.”
And it sounds like the capital city of Yucatán, Izamal, is really gearing up for the event. I read an article that said they’ve “taken preparations to the next level, offering travelers a series of exciting activities guaranteed to make this experience truly unforgettable.”
The article described Izamal as: “a picturesque town best known for its saffron-colored colonial buildings, a feature that has earned it the ‘Golden City’ nickname.” And they added: “While Izamal is a self-sufficient magical town that needs no eclipse to attract visitors, local authorities do expect a significant uptick in tourist numbers, up to a whopping 30%, during the celestial event.”
If you go there for the solar eclipse, you can expect to “be invited to the town’s main plaza, where traditional dances and music will fill the air.” They say you’ll find a “lively scene includes a charanga band, folklore ballet, and the ‘pig head dance,’ a local tradition.”
I enjoyed a wonderful Caribbean vacation with my daughter last year.
We didn’t get to see a solar eclipse. But we had an unforgettable time of rest, relaxation, and discovery. I can’t recommend that kind of time enough. And I suggest you work on setting aside some of that time before some metaphorical solar eclipse comes along and leaves you in the dark.
If you’d like some help getting there better and faster, I wrote my RondaReady System book to help you do that. And it’s the same information and processes my one-on-one clients paid me a lot to teach them.
And, just in case you missed my previous emails, it’s available on Amazon.
It’s a small investment compared to what my one-on-one clients have paid me. Especially when you consider how it can pay for itself over and over. It can even help you take control of your schedule and run your business instead of your business running you.
So, if a Caribbean vacation is calling your name, but you don’t think you’re ready, use this link to get yourself a copy on Amazon. It won’t change your life overnight. But it CAN change your life when you commit to doing what I teach. Sound good? Then, go get the RondaReady System book, today!
