Hey Mr. Or Ms. business owner,
Where is your head right now?
“Two men looked out from prison bars. One saw mud, the other stars.” Most people who use that quote give credit for it to Dale Carnegie. Maybe you remember him…he wrote “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. It’s a book still used, after 83 years, to motivate sales people. And just so you know…Mr. Carnegie came from a poor family in rural Missouri. But he didn’t let that hold him back. And that’s why I’m asking business owners, today, where is YOUR head?
The quote emphasizes the importance of perspective. And you could say it uses mud to illustrate looking down and stars to illustrate looking up. But it’s more important to notice how both men are looking at the same scene from the same place.
Every day, in business and in life, you’re faced with choices. And every choice can either propel you forward, keep you standing still, or maybe even drive you backward. But the most important choice you can make is how you’ll respond to the results. Yes, it IS your choice. Whether you’ll be bitter, angry, and depressed…or eager, inspired, and glad.
You and I get the same 24 hour days as everybody else. So, in a way, we’re all looking at the same thing when it comes to time. And when you choose to look up during your productive hours, you can see the stars: opportunities, ideas, success. But when you choose to look down, don’t be surprised to find yourself stuck in the mud: shortcomings, fears, failures
I’ve been there. In fact, I bet everybody’s been there at some point in life. It’s why I decided to share my system with entrepreneurs and business owners. I want to help you save more time, make more money, and have more freedom.
I know, from experience, when you put systems in place, it can change your whole perspective. And you won’t feel like you’re fighting the world all on your own.
So…where is your head right now?
In the mud? Or in the stars? If you’ve been seeing more mud than stars, let me know. I’d like to help you get ready, and…
Stay Ready,
Ronda
