If you own a business, you might have been asked this question. I’ve certainly heard it more than once. “What’s it like being a business owner?” Sound familiar? And, of course, the answer is: It’s simply one exciting thing after another. Right? Oops, wait a minute. Reality check. Because, despite what some of those YouTube commercials show you, it’s not all big houses, fancy cars, and vacations.
Being a business owner means a lot of other things, too.
(Notice I said “too.” Because you might get those toys and trips, too.)
But as you go through the day-to-day business owner life, you discover those toys and trips come after (or it better be after) you take care of all the other details. And they might include…
- renting an office…or designing your own home office
- buying the office supplies,
- getting the phone lines (and making lots of calls),
- establishing your internet service and office network
- upgrading your computer and printer…
- paying the bills
And there’s more to consider…
- working on your ideas…
- brainstorming,
- learning new software,
- designing business cards and brochures,
- building a website (SEO, e-commerce, etc.)
Wow! That’s a lot. Right? And we’re just gettin’ started.
None of those bullet points included hiring and firing. Or setting up your pipeline for repeat and referral business. Or how to automate your marketing or plug in social media.
And what about tracking systems. And a way to check your past performance so you can make better future predictions? Oh brother, there’s so much more to being a business owner. And after talking with oodles of clients over the years, I know how frustrating it is to just get started. Much less take on more.
That’s why I developed my RondaReady System.
And it’s also why I created my monthly RondaReady . It’s for business owners (or wannabes) who’d like to figure out how to create a system for their business. But they’re not quite ready to dive in all the way. They might need to dip their toes first and discover how simple it is to build.
If that sounds like you. And if you’d like to and be in time for the next class on April 1, then sign up before March 31. It’s a strict deadline. After then, you could still enroll, but you’d have to wait for the next class in May.
For hands-on how-to coaching on how to build your business better and faster with a proven system, monthly tuition is only $15. Remember, tardiness won’t be tolerated. You can cancel anytime. But dropouts will drop out forever.
