I bet you’ve heard the story of The Frog Prince. Or sometimes it’s called The Princess and the Frog. But the main plot of the story is how the princess has to kiss a frog in order for it to turn back into a prince. A prince who had an evil spell cast on him. And that sort of segues into the St. Patrick’s Day celebration going on today. Because I think those Irish people cast a magic spell, too. I mean, if they can get us to wear green, drink green beer, and kiss the Blarney stone, upside down, that’s pretty powerful.
And legend has it that kissing the Blarney stone gives you eloquence.
But not the eloquence of speech like some great orator. The Blarney eloquence is more like pleasant, but slightly deceitful, chit chat that doesn’t offend. For example…
“Ay you’re lookin’ sweeter than the golden nectar from the honeysuckle this mornin’, lassie.”
“Ah, that’s a wee bit o’ Blarney, Danny Quinn…but I’ll not stop ya from speakin’ your mind.”
See? How could a lass be upset with an over-the-top compliment? Even though she knows the lad has ulterior motives. Right?
So, I don’t know if any of that’s worth even a shilling to ya. But it’s St. Patty’s Day. And I figured I’d show you I’m not always about makin’ the green. Sometimes it’s fun to just be wearin’ it.
But just in case you’d like more than a dash of Irish luck to boost your business, I’ll be sharin’ another way to improve your ability to make more green to buy more green to wear. Yep, the next monthly RondaReady class is comin’ up in less than 2 weeks. It’ll be on April 1st.
So, you don’t wanna be an Irish April fool and miss it. The strict deadline to enroll in monthly coaching lessons (and be in time for the one in April) is March 31. Any later, and you’ll have to wait for May. And that ain’t no Blarney.
Stay Ready,
