I’m not exaggerating when I say every day is a holiday. Because there is literally at least one sort of “special day description” for every day of the year. They’re coming out of the woodwork.
Just in case you doubt that every day is a holiday, check this out.
For August 26 (coincidentally that’s today as I publish this) here’s a list of possible things you can celebrate. And I got this directly from the internet. So, it’s gotta be true. Right?
- Congressional Startup Day
- Daffodil Day – August 26, 2022 (Fourth Friday in August in Australia)
- Forgive Your Foe Friday – August 26, 2022 (Last Friday in August)
- Make Your Own Luck Day
- Musical Yoga Day
- National Cherry Popsicle Day
- National Dog Day
- National Toilet Paper Day
- National Webmistress Day
- Women’s Equality Day
- World Daffodil Day – August 26, 2022
Wow. That’s a pretty wide variety of potential parties. I bet you already have one foot out the door on your way to pick up some daffodils, Charmin, kibbles, and popsicles.
But before you head out, I’d like to remind you that each one of those so-called “holidays” that somebody (or a group) came up with is a potential communication opportunity for you. And those “official” holidays don’t even include your own list of anniversaries, birthdays, etc.
Yeah, even if every day isn’t a holiday, it’s still a special day.
For somebody. Somewhere.
And when you’re the person who seems to never forget, what do you think they’re gonna think about you when you send a note that day? Yeah, they’re gonna think you’re special. And they’re gonna remember YOU when it’s time to remember someone who does what you do.
So, just get out your trusty, constant companion device (hint: phone) and use your voice to create a reminder. Or set an appointment. Or take a note. And then be sure to create an automated action step to make that contact that makes you the “one they’ll remember.”
It’s all in your System. And your System can save you TONS of time.
Uh-oh. Are you the one who said you don’t have that kind of System? Whoops. My mistake. In that case, you should book a call with me and let’s see if we can change that for you. Doesn’t cost you anything to find out. Click or tap that button, below, to book that call.
Stay Ready,
Ronda
