I’m putting this out there just in case you’re not the organized business owner you’d like to be.

I’d like to share a short story I’ve shared before. It’s about a time I was going on a vacation with my three kids. They were much smaller, and we were about to go on our first, official vacation as a family.

I was so excited to put everything together, plan the trip, pack the car, and hit the road. In fact, the whole family was excited. And we could’ve just as easily worried about things instead. For example, what if the car broke down? Or what if it wouldn’t start in the first place? What if we got lost on the way? And what if somebody got sick?

But we didn’t worry about those things. We trusted the smooth-running systems in our car, in our plans, and in our ability to take care of each other. So, we were excited!

And that’s how I run my business, too. Worry free. Because I spent productive time getting organized. And now I’ve got a system, with plans, and skills I can trust. So, I can stay excited about it. Not worried.
