An article popped up in a sidebar this morning. And it caught my eye because I had just recently had a conversation with one of my clients about it. The article talked about how important it is to have one on one time with your kids. Of course, that’s if you have more than one kid. And I liked the ideas they shared for how to do it.
One on one time helps you focus.
If you still have growing kids around the house…and you wanna make sure each one of them feels important…try these ideas. Maybe you could play a video game with one of them. Or you could take a nice, long walk with one of them. And it could be fun to get one of them to help you cook dinner. Especially if you have a chef wannabe.
Or how about working on a special project with that kid who’s putting together something for science class? And if you’ve got a kid who’s getting old enough to drive (Heaven help us), take him or her with you on errands. That way they’ll start getting a feel for organizing the route as well as understanding potential weather and parking challenges.
I know you’re creative. So, I’m sure you can think of plenty more ideas like those. But the point is…it’s important to make each one of them feel important to you.
And this applies to business employees, too.
And I have a whole section about one on one time with employees in my RondaReady system. It’s the Management and Supervision section. That’s where you’ll develop a system for scheduling and managing this focused time. And you’ll be able to track feedback, both yours and theirs, for when it’s time to give those formal performance reviews. That way, most of the hard work will already be done.
And if you’re good with trying to keep it all in your head, or “get to it” when you can, then you don’t need my system.
But if you’d rather be the highly organized CEO of your business, then don’t wait another day. Plug your business into the RondaReady System and build your business better and faster.
I can help you…
Stay Ready,
Ronda
