I’ve never understood why tight rope walkers do what they do. Especially when they go very high, don’t use a net, and tempt death over and over. But I guess not all of us care to take those kinds of chances with our lives. Right?
Yeah, just imagine your life in the balance on a tight rope.
I’ve shared a snippet about a tight rope walker, Philippe Petit. He’s a pretty famous high wire artist who walked a “wire” between the twin towers of the World Trade Center back in 1974. And not just once, but eight times back and forth. Whew! I get tingles in my feet just thinking about it.
Another famous guy on the wire was Karl Wallenda. In fact, he got his whole family in on the act. They called themselves the Flying Wallendas. Tragically, Karl’s life ended when he fell about 40 stories from a wire fastened between two buildings somewhere in Puerto Rico.
OK, let’s compare your work life balance to that of a high wire artist.
And imagine being so balanced you can stand on tippy toes with one hand tied behind you. With no worries of falling. Wouldn’t that be awesome? And of course I’m using a metaphor to make a point.
But the point is real.
Lots of my clients have complained they just don’t find balance in their lives. Either they spend too much time on their business and neglect family life. Or they “slack off” too much with the family and their business suffers. So, what’s a business owner or entrepreneur to do? Well, I’ve discovered, most of the time, they don’t know how to organize in a way that’ll help them build business better and faster. And they haven’t set up automation and delegation.
It’s easy to believe you’re the only one who can do whatever needs to be done in your business. And when you start out, that’s actually probably true. But if you wanna really expand your business and work ON it more and IN it less, you need a business hub.
One that helps you set up, prioritize, and automate as many day-to-day chores as possible. Why spend your time stringing up the cable and securing the foundation when you could be the artist on the high wire? Up there where the world can see the results of your amazing ideas.
Clients and customers will line up to “see your show.”
When you’re ready to focus your efforts ON your business more, my RondaReady business hub can probably help. I don’t guarantee it will. Because it takes commitment to the process and dedication to your dreams. But if that’s the kind of business owner or entrepreneur you are, it’ll be cake.
Get off the tight rope and on the solid ground of success.
