Stress is good. Excuse me? What did she just say?

When you want stronger arms, you lift or push some more weight. When you want stronger legs, you start walking or running more miles. Stronger lungs means you gotta do more breathing exercises. So, can you see what gives you the good results you want? It’s stress. Sure, I know we don’t wanna say it. But stress is good. At least when it’s controlled and efficient.

But you can’t say stress is good when it takes you out of control.

I’ve noticed 10 causes of stress for business owners. See if any of these sound familiar. And I’m not putting them in any particular order…

  • Managing staff
  • Taxes
  • Multitasking
  • Admin
  • Compliance issues
  • Budget and expenses
  • Responsibility for company’s success
  • Clients
  • Time management
  • Feeling like an imposter

The article I read said the vast majority of small business owners don’t ask for help when they’re stressed out. Because most of them believe it’s either a sign of weakness or no one could understand their “unique” circumstances.

I hope that’s not you. Can you imagine Apple becoming the computer giant it is if Steve Jobs had never asked for help? Or how much longer we’d have been in the dark if Edison and Tesla hadn’t asked for help?

Yeah, no one can achieve success alone.

It just can’t be done.

And your “unique” circumstances probably aren’t nearly as unique as might imagine. Lots of business owners and entrepreneurs have struggled the same way you do. But the ones who succeeded asked for (and got) help.

Do you struggle with any of those 10 causes of business stress, listed above? Then, I want you to know my RondaReady System can literally help you with every one of them. Because you can plug your business into the System, personalize it, and begin to feel like stress is good again.

It’s not overnight. And it’s hard work. But I’ve done the hardest part for you. Because I’ve organized a System. And it’s the System that’s helped lots of business owners and entrepreneurs move from 5 figures to 6. And from 6 figures to 7.

But the RondaReady System only works for someone who’s Ready to take action and follow through. That kind of business owner won’t end up paying for it. Increased sales and profits will. Are you Ready? The link is below.

Stay Ready,
Ronda

All about time and that stuff you spend on other stuff

I read this great quote, attributed to Carl Sandburg (an American poet, author), that says it all about time. “Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.” Wow! If that doesn’t describe how time is money, I don’t know what does.

Yeah, Carl Sandburg certainly was all about time.

And that it’s even way more important than money. Because of its very limited supply. By what I’ve read of him, Mr. Sandburg definitely made good use of his time. As I mentioned, he was an American poet. And he was also a historian, novelist, and folklorist. Before he made his mark as a writer, he drove a milk truck, worked in a brickyard, did a stint as a barbershop porter, and even labored in the wheat fields of middle America.

Mr. Sandburg even enlisted to serve in the Spanish-American War in 1898.

Of course, my point is, that’s all from a guy who ended up known for his writing. Because he spent his time well.

Yeah, you might be young and feel on top of the world right now. But sooner or later you’ll realize you gotta optimize time. Because it’s so limited. And now, for the good news…

When you optimize time, it just might feel like you have more of it.

Your days will still have 24 hours. But, get your schedule under control, and spend your “coin” better.

Most of my clients, over the years, told me they felt like they lost control of their time. And when I help them dive in and really see what’s going on, it’s almost always because they don’t write it down. And like I always say, “If you don’t write it down, it’s just an idea.”

But it’s awesome how a written System puts you in control. And you might not even notice how automatic it becomes.

Are you a business owner, with a small to medium sized business, who’d like to get back in control sooner rather than later? Well, the best (and fastest) way to do that is to plug into a system that’s already set up.

And guess what?

Just so happens, my RondaReady System is set up and Ready for you.

But it’s for business owners who’ve already got things going and wanna scale up faster. Because newbies don’t tend to have the extra capital to invest in a proven System.

But no matter where you are in your business, my comprehensive, online course and CRM system can help you get where you wanna go. Faster.

Just keep in mind, it’s only for business owners who are Ready to invest in their businesses. In other words, those who will buy it but not PAY for it.

If that sounds like you, click the second link below. If you’re still unsure, click the first link and get my free daily emails. That way we can stay in touch until you’re Ready. Either way, don’t wait too long. Because, it’s all about time.

Here’s to your success,

System Scan saves business life. Video story at eleven.

If you use a computer, you’ve probably done a system scan at least once. Right? Maybe it was with a virus scanning software. Or built-in utilities. But you’ve surely done at least one scan. Because the information can help protect your device. Or even help you get rid of unwanted stuff. Yeah, a scan can sort of save your computer’s life.

I’ve shared this scenario before. But it’s good to revisit this idea once in a while. Because, like the old saying, the only thing constant is change.

Let’s say you’ve got something great planned. But some things go wrong. And let’s say it’s a trip to Disneyland with your family. Yeah, that might sound like crazy talk right now. But play along for a minute.

So, you pop out of bed. And you’re Ready to go. Because you’ve got an agenda. Yeah! You know what you’re gonna be doing. And you’re high on anticipation.

But then, you do a system scan and discover your credit or debit card expired.

Uh-oh! Whatcha gonna do now? The trip is planned. The hotel is booked. And you’re dressed and ready to load the gear for the drive. But life just tossed you a monkey wrench (do they still have those?).

Well, your solution might not be the same as someone else’s. So, I’m not here to provide “THE answer.” But I AM here to talk about how that system scan (in this case, checking the to-do list) saved you a ton of grief. Because you found out you had an issue BEFORE you left home. And that’s a huge check on the positive side of the ledger.

And that’s why I encourage my clients and students to wake up every morning with a prepared agenda. It’s so much better and easier when you set it up in your system the night before. Then, when you follow your organized plan, and strategies, and your system, your mind will be Ready.

Then every day can be a great day. Even if you find a monkey wrench in the works.

But in order to do a system scan, you need a system.

Allow me to recommend my RondaReady System. But only if you’re serious about your business. Only if you plan to becom the organized CEO you envisioned when you started your business.

Because it takes commitment. Tire kickers only kick tires. Lookie Lou’s only look. But committed business owners and entrepreneurs succeed. Do a quick system scan of your business. Then, if you’re Ready, click the link below, and…

Postpone the inevitable? That sounds like a lotta fun.

I’m sure you’ve heard somebody say it. Or maybe you’ve said it yourself. “You can’t postpone the inevitable.” Right? And I guess that might sound deep and meaningful. But let’s think about that a little more.

Maybe you CAN postpone the inevitable.

Because maybe it’s not actually inevitable. One dictionary I looked at gave some synonyms for inevitable. And they included: unavoidable, inescapable, and bound to happen. But I don’t think those definitions are appropriate for many things in life.

There’s a famous quote, attributed to Ben Franklin, who quoted an English actor, Christopher Bullock. And it says, “Tis impossible to be sure of anything but Death and Taxes.”

Yeah, I’d say those are inevitable.

But most things business owners and entrepreneurs dread are far from inevitable. So, I coach my clients not to try and postpone those things they dread. Instead, set up a personalized System and be proactive instead of reactive.

A lot of them tell me they’d really like to set up a system. But they just “don’t have time.” Or they put a “later” label on it. Oh yeah, “later.” Ever notice how “later” never seems to get here?

That’s why I point out how now, is the only time you can get anything done. Certainly you can (and should) plan for all those tomorrows. But like the old saying goes, “Never put off till tomorrow what you can get done today.” And a key point, there, is…what can you realistically get done today?

A proven system can realistically help you do so much more.

And it can help you do it better and faster. It doesn’t have to be my RondaReady System. But my system has something no other system has. And it’s something a lot of business owners have been delighted to get.

Me.

I’m with you every step of the way. To help you Get Ready, Stay Ready, and Be Ready to reach your goals for the day. How? Well, one way is to help you automate and delegate those day-to-day tasks. Then, you don’t feel like you have to postpone the inevitable. Because your System will help you get that To-Do list done.

And that’s worth more than you might imagine.

I’ve been there, done that. And I can show you the way, too. If you’re Ready to finally invest in your business and yourself, then click or tap that second link below. If you wanna think about it (and postpone your business success), then click or tap that first link and get my free daily emails. Either way, let’s stay in touch. and…

Control freak makes a freaky cool discovery

Hello fellow control freak. How’s your day going so far?

If you’re a true control freak, you probably know how it’s going.

Or at least you know how you’ve planned it to go. Am I right?

One of the main, recurring things I’ve heard my clients say, over the years, is how hard it is for them to hand over control of any part of their business. So, I do my best to show them how to let go. Not of everything. But of certain parts to give them the best chance to hold on to (or build) a successful business.

And I make sure they understand that to let go doesn’t mean you give up control.

At least, not all of it. Or the “final say” control. But it IS about letting others, who might be much more qualified, than you, at certain parts of your business. What?! Could that be?! Uh…yeah. Absolutely.

Because your business will do so much better when you handle those parts where you’re the expert. And let others handle those parts where they’re the expert. And, as much as you might like to believe you are, you’re not an expert in everything.

But, believe me, I get it. Your business is your baby. Your vision. And it was your idea long before anybody else even thought about doing it. But those aren’t business or expert credentials. They’re feelings. And your business won’t succeed on feelings alone.

So, you gotta let go of how you feel about everything.

And figure out how to put the right people in the right positions.

The most successful businesses in America aren’t the classic one-man-band.

Of course, if your goal is to have a successful business where you’re the only person in your business, it can be done. But there are only a few business models where that can work well. And even those guys tend to need outside assistance at least once in a while.

So, if you plan to build something big and serve the needs of many, you’re gonna build a team. And that’s a very good thing. Because more hands get the work done faster. And, in most cases, much better.

And that’s where my RondaReady System comes in.

It’s a proven way to help you automate and delegate like the champ CEO you know you can and should be. My clients almost always tell me how much more empowered they feel after they set up their personalized system. So, from vision to volume, the RondaReady System has you covered.

But I could tell you that all day, every day, and it might just sound like another bragging business coach. I could also refer you to lots and lots of testimonials from business owners I’ve helped. But that could easily sound like a bunch more bragging. Because you just might not be Ready to pull the trigger on a serious business building System.

So, in that case, I recommend you get on my list for free daily emails. That way you can get to know me better. And I believe once you see how much I truly DO wanna help you succeed, you’ll feel more confident spending your money on my System. Because it’s control freak tested and approved.

Just click the link below, fill in your email, and let’s stay in touch.

Attention deficit? Or is clutter making you sputter?

I’m sure you’ve heard of attention deficit. Right? Or the disorder known as A.D.D. Yeah, some business owners and entrepreneurs deal with this disorder. But it’s actually not a syndrome. Just dis-order. Lack of order. But fear not. Because I have a solution, for you and your business, to take the dis out of disorder.

By the way, attention deficit doesn’t just mean a messy desk.

Plenty of people (me included sometimes) are efficiently organized even with a messy desk. But I’m not talking about the “organize-your-desk-and-organize-your-life kind of organization.

Sure, it’s great to be as uncluttered as possible. In your office. On your desk. And most importantly in your thoughts. As a matter of fact, this month’s is about how to de-clutter. (If you haven’t already enrolled, you won’t be able to see month’s lesson. You can still join and get in next month’s lesson. But back to what I was talking about.)

Your messy desk or office is just the visible evidence of your attention deficit disorder. The real problem is more likely hidden in the way you set things up in your business. Because you might be trying to keep too many things in your head instead of getting them written down. And, like I always say, until it’s written down and planned out, it’s just an idea. And ideas are just the beginning. It’s action that brings change.

I love to watch the light bulb flash on when I help a business owner plan out and write down their action steps. And when they get their “a-ha” moment. So cool to see them set up their new system and build new organizational skills.

I’ve seen my RondaReady System help so many do that so many times.

And I’m confident it can do it for you and your business, too. But it’s not magic. And it does still require your commitment to the process. Nothing worthwhile happens instantly. And that includes your business dreams.

But the good news is…it will happen.

Set up the System.

Because your systemized business can stay on track. Then, you’re able to automate and delegate. And that’s when your organizational skills make you a true CEO. And you can be the business owner you dreamed of being when you started your business.

So, what do you think? Is it time to get serious? If so, click the first link, below. If you’re still on the fence, but not on my email list, click the second link below. Either way, let’s stay in touch. Because I truly do wanna help you Get Ready, and

Step One is to be sure to get to Step Two

Are you somebody who switches from one “guru” to the next looking for motivation. And do the latest seminars, webinars, and other nars pump you up to “go get something done?” Believe me, I understand. Some motivational gurus  are excellent sources of motivation. That’s all well and good. And it’s step one. But none of it will do you much good if you move to the next bright, shiny object soon after the event is over.

Because step one is only one step.

And one step isn’t momentum. Not by any definition I can find.

Would you like a cure for all that guru voodoo?

Here’s a quote from Isaac Marion, the author of “Warm Bodies,” that really makes the point: “…wanting change is step one, but step two is taking it.” Yes. You gotta take IT. Because IT doesn’t magically take itself.

It’s great to scoop up knowledge, strategies, and tactics from good teachers. But if you don’t have your processes and a System in place to help you implement your new knowledge, it just feeds your head. And, if you’re like most business owners and entrepreneurs, your head is NEVER satisfied. It always wants more.

So, it’s crucial to be able to keep your forward momentum on a consistent, predictable, upward pace. If what you learn and take away from those seminars and webinars doesn’t help you do that, it’s just a motivational speech. And that can mean a lot of time and money wasted for something that doesn’t last.

And by just about any standard, that’s not a recipe for a good investment.

The RondaReady System has helped scores of other entrepreneurs, like you, establish and keep their business building momentum. It’s a System that can help you make more money, have more time, and enjoy more freedom. And I’m biased, but I believe it’s the best System. Because it’s the ONLY System that includes me. And I truly want you to enjoy more success in your business and in your life.

But it’s not a System for anyone who won’t go from Step One to Step Two…and beyond. So, if that describes you, please don’t spend your money. Get my free emails instead. Because then we can stay in touch, and once you feel confident I can (and truly DO want to) help, then you’ll be Ready to invest in yourself. Your link to subscribe is below.

Thoughts into action and no magician required

A couple of years ago I shared a short video about what I call the “trilogy of thoughts into action.” And I’m gonna share some thoughts (no pun intended) about that again. Because I just read an article that made me chuckle. It said you can  change your thoughts into something real in 30 seconds. And the example was to think about a piece of cake. Then, buy the cake. And eat the cake.

I love cake. But I think you can turn thoughts into action for much better results.

So, here’s the short version of the trilogy. Thoughts before feelings before action.

There you go. Take that and run with it. No need to thank me. Glad to help.

And you think, “Take what and run with it? Thank you for what? Help me how?”

Right?

Just my wry sense of humor. But humor me for a little bit. Because I truly DO want to help you.

I talk to my kids about this all the time. And I have open conversations with my friends and clients about it. How feelings can often dictate things in daily life. But feelings aren’t the beginning of the trilogy. Remember, it’s thoughts, feelings, and action.

Your thought life has the power to establish what you’ll actually do. Throughout each day AND your life.

Get your thoughts Ready, (part of what I call the Get Ready phase).

And get them clear in your mind as you focus on positive things. Because it’s human nature to be negative. It’s part of this world we live in. So, it’s way too easy to quickly grab onto the negative and try to wrestle it to the ground.

But the sooner you turn your thoughts around to the positive, the sooner your feelings will follow right along. And wouldn’t you rather feel good everyday? I sure would. Because, when feelings are good, actions tend to be good.

It works so well, it’s almost like magic. But no magician required.

So, today, take some time to recognize when you’re not feeling so great. And then pay attention to your thoughts. What kind of questions do you ask yourself? Maybe that’s a good place to start a new and different story. Get some better questions. And then you can get some better answers.

Equipped with better answers, you’ll be better equipped to manage the expectations of your customers and clients. I’ll be sharing a how-to lesson on managing expectations in my UNversity class for April. That’s next Thursday. But you won’t be able to see it if you didn’t enroll by yesterday. Because the enrollment deadline is always the last day of the prior month. And that was yesterday.

Good news is…you can be super ready for May’s UNversity class when you enroll today. It’s gonna be great. Because it’s all about how to de-clutter your business and life. Your link is below.

Managing expectations with mobility

What does your smartphone have in common with your customers and clients? If you said phone numbers, give yourself a B. But if you’d rather get an A, then consider this answer. Your smartphone should be able to help you, a lot, as you’re managing expectations in your business.

Because managing expectations can save you tons of time and headaches.

If you don’t like to type out everything (especially on a mobile device), you’ll probably love some of the features of my RondaReady System. And one of those features is voice-to-text recognition. And that’s just a fancy schmancy way of saying you can take notes, in the system, just by saying them directly into the CRM.

I know more and more people get more and more work done, efficiently, from their trusty phones. I know I feel like something’s missing when I don’t have mine with me. And it’s just plain awesome to have access to such amazing technology, in the palm of your hands. Especially with all the “social distancing” that’s still going on in the world right now.

So, that’s a key reason I made sure the RondaReady CRM system has a simple way to take notes for reminders, etc.

It’s so convenient to be able to talk text in between appointments, for example. While something is fresh in your mind. And you don’t have to pull over, grab your phone, and type on that tiny keyboard. Instead, you tap on a button, talk, tap the button again, and your note is ready and waiting for you when you get back to your computer.

But maybe you wonder what any of that’s got to do with your customers’ expectations.

Simple. The easier it is to set reminders (like call-back reminders, for example), the more likely you are to remember. And get it done. And the more likely your customers or clients can depend on you to return calls and more.

I’ll be talking a lot more about that in April’s UNversity how-to lesson. That’s coming up a week from today because UNversity classes are the first Thursday of every month. But the deadline to sign up for each month’s class is on the last day of the prior month. And that just so happens to be today, March 31. Your link is below

Gearhead entrepreneur banker and pioneer

Close your eyes and picture a young girl in the last quarter of the 19th century. And this particular girl worked for her dad in his machine tool company. Yes, you read that right. A machine tool company. And not only did she work there, but she also developed a strong interest in mechanical engineering and mechanical arts. Her name was Kate Gleason. And you might say she was a bit of a gearhead.

Because, check out a couple of Kate’s accomplishments.

After that time, working for her father, she attended Cornell University and Sibley College of Engraving and Mechanics Institute. Because she wanted to learn more and do more. And, wow! She certainly did that. Matter of fact, she and her dad designed a machine that could produce beveled gears faster and better and for less money.

Big deal. Right? Who cares about beveled gears?

Well, one fairly well-known influencer certainly appreciated this gearhead and her gears.

Have you heard of Henry Ford? Yeah, THE Henry Ford. And he was so impressed with Kate’s machine that he said it was “the most remarkable machine work ever done by a woman.”

But Kate (aka Catherine Gleason) was only getting warmed up.

She also headed up the sales and finance divisions of her dad’s company. And during that time, she helped it expand into international markets. But she was still just getting warmed up.

When the president of First National Bank of Rochester stepped down from his position to join the military during World War I, Kate became the first female president of the bank. At least for a while.

After that (and after the war) she conquered concrete and the construction industry.

Actually she invented a new method of pouring concrete. And then, she even sold low-cost concrete box (or blocks) houses in East Rochester. So, she was a pioneer for the construction style of other future suburban developments.

Then, Catherine became the first female member at the American Concrete Institute. Oh yeah, AND the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Unfortunately, Ms Gleason only lived to be 67. But she stacked up an impressive list of accomplishments in that time. And I’m sure her mechanical skills played a big part in her ability to stay organized and on schedule.

Because amazing accomplishments don’t happen by accident.

And this gearhead’s life is another example of why I always talk about the importance of setting up your system. Also, because a system helps you to know what to expect.

Next month’s RondaReady UNversity class will be about managing expectations. And that can tie in very nicely with your System.

But, you better get in gear. Because the deadline to enroll in RondaReady UNversity…and be in time for April 2022’s lesson, is March 31st. That’s only 3 days away. So, don’t put it off.

For hands-on how-to coaching on how to build your business better and faster with a proven system, monthly tuition is only $15. Remember, tardiness won’t be tolerated. You can cancel anytime. But dropouts will drop out forever.

Enroll right now and get ready to manage your expectations. Your link is below

Stay Ready,
