Even your best laid plans aren’t always immune to chaos

In case you hadn’t noticed, a presidential election took place yesterday. Well, the process is still in process. But I bet you’re aware of that. Right? And if you’re keeping a close eye on how it’s playing out, you’ve no doubt noticed how even the best laid plans of world governments can crumble into chaos.

Even your best laid plans aren’t always immune to chaos

Your best laid plans can do that, too.

Just because I’m always talking about how important it is to plan doesn’t mean things can’t come along and mess with your plan.

In fact, that’s a basic part of life. And doing business.

But here’s the thing.

Sure, there will be challenges and obstacles to overcome. And some of them you’ll know about ahead of time. And some of them will sneak up on you. But the difference between overcome and overwhelm is still gonna be your plan.

Your system.

Because, like I always say…if your business is all in your head, then it’s not a business you can scale up. After all, you’re only one person. And you can only be in one place at a time. But a successful business, one that doesn’t require you to be there every second, doesn’t operate from only that one place where you are.

What I mean by that is…successful business is all about serving as many clients and customers as possible. And serving them well. Efficiently. In fact, I just read an article that said customer service can be your superpower.

And you know what’ll help you tap into your superpower better than you might have ever imagined?

My RondaReady system.

It’s a proven blueprint. The plan you can plug into.

And it can help you put on your cape and lay out your plans and dreams.

Go-getters will start today. If that’s you, get your RondaReady System now, and…

Stay Ready,
Ronda

Ready for Monday means being ready for life.

Who’s ready for Monday? As I hit the publish button on this post, that’s what day it is here in Colorado in America. And if you’ve been following my latest updates you’ll remember I suggested something for you to ponder over the weekend. Of course, I hope you didn’t spend the whole weekend thinking about it. I’d feel just plain awful if I thought you missed out on family or fun time just because of something I said.

Ready for Monday means being ready for life.

Here’s why being ready for Monday means you’re on the right track.

Business owners, entrepreneurs, and basically anybody who dreads Mondays is living the wrong life. Because Monday is just another one of the seven days of the week. I mean, let’s just be logical about it. All seven days of the week can be bad, dreary days. Or they can each be another 24 hours of opportunity. And your perspective will determine if you’re living the right life or not.

I’ve worked with business owners who were dealing with confusion because of all that needed to get done. And their main problem was they didn’t have a plan. A system. But even without a system…and even with all that confusion…they got up every morning with the same on-fire enthusiasm to find solutions. And that kind of readiness is an indicator you’re living the right life.

Like my client, Alan, who said this once he got plugged into the RondaReady system…

“We learned to manage our time…

Create customer lists, and keep track of customer jobs. Created a newsletter for our customers and how to communicate with them more effectively. Our business has now taken the next step in its evolution.

And we look forward to working with Ronda again to help us to continue to move forward in our endeavor. Without Ronda’s help and professionalism, we would have failed, like most businesses without a plan do. We owe our growing business success to Ronda and can recommend without any hesitation and doubts.

If a business coach is on your radar, then Ronda is the coach you need. Success!”
~ Alan G. – Owner Mountain Stream Technologies Colorado Springs, CO

Good news is…you can get all the benefits of my one-on-one coaching for a fraction of what my one-on-one clients have paid. But like I often say, don’t get it if you’re not really ready to focus your efforts into a system that works. Because it still takes work. But if you’re ready for it, you’ll wonder why you ever waited so long.

So, when you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you.

Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,
Ronda

Ready for anything even though that doesn't mean everything

2020 has certainly been a wild ride so far. Right? And I don’t think it’s gonna calm down the rest of the year either. You’ve probably seen lots of people venting about how this year has messed with their lives. And I mean even people who typically thought they were ready for anything. And there are plenty of others who prefer to act like a victim of their circumstances.

I saw one of those just this morning in a social media feed. A young woman was interviewed about why she was part of a protest booth at a political event. I’m not sharing who she was or what the event was because my point isn’t about politics. But when asked why she was there, she answered, “Because _________ (her state governor) has done everything in his power to shut me down. And there’s no way a small business owner even has a hope of running a business anymore.”

But even though I felt sorry for that young woman, and her business, it made me wonder. Why is it that so many other small business owners are still pushing forward and succeeding? And I mean in all 50 states in America. And instead of me just asking the question and letting it hang, I’ll share my answer, too.

Ready for anything even though that doesn't mean everything

There are basically two kinds of small business owners. 1. Those who come up with an idea for a product or service and then try to sell that product or service to anybody and everybody. 2. Business owners who found a market, created a product or service for it, and built a system to keep things running as smoothly as possible.

This year has proved you can be ready for anything but not everything.

I know you’ve seen marketers and motivational gurus on social media spouting off things like “No Fear.” And “Be a _____(fill in the blank) rockstar.” And the ever present, “The only thing holding you back is YOU.”

Those might make for good speeches at a seminar. But they’re probably not your reality.

Because of course you’re gonna have fears. Especially when you start out in your new business adventure. But instead of thinking of fear as a negative, realize how much it keeps you on your toes. And success almost never comes from a fear-less life. No, success almost always comes as a result of being afraid and working through it.

And who wants to be a rockstar anyway? I mean think about it. What are rockstars notorious for? Sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll. And for tearing up their hotel rooms. And for a whole list of things mature adults should avoid like the plague.

Plus…YOU are NOT the only thing holding you back.

Owning and operating a business comes with tons of responsibilities and important things to do. And that means there are lots of outside circumstances you might have little or no control over. Legal hoops you might have to jump through. I won’t make a list because there are too many. And somebody else’s obstacles might not be yours at all.

Also…who could have foreseen a year like 2020? Of course, some will say, in hindsight, they saw it coming. But do you seriously think anybody could have predicted everything that’s happened so far this year? And who would have guessed how so many small businesses would fail as a result?

That’s why it’s so incredibly important to Be Ready for anything. Even though you can’t be ready for everything. And I just mean get a proven system working for you and your business. So you can keep your focus ON your business when things get rough. Because when things get rough is not the time to start figuring out where the hatches are so you can batten them down.

And on that nautical note, that’s where my RondaReady system really shines. Because I’ve built a 3 step system to help automate and delegate the details IN your business, so you can work ON your business. Lots and lots of other business owners plugged into the RondaReady System and got amazing results. Of course, your results might not be the same. Because I don’t know how dedicated you are to making it happen.

But if you ARE dedicated to your own success, then maybe you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business. If so, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you.

Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,

Leave that lemons to lemonade thing to your competitors

Over the weekend I watched a short (and funny) video clip about the origin of lemons. The guy in the video made funny faces as he said, “Did you know lemons don’t appear in nature on their own?” And he went on to explain how they’re actually a hybrid made from oranges and citrons. And with an almost crying face, he said “So, that whole lemons to lemonade thing is something we actually do to ourselves.”

It was hilarious. But maybe you had to be there.

Leave that lemons to lemonade thing to your competitors

But his lemons to lemonade comedy video got me thinking…

I know a lot of people have used that old expression as a motivation tool. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. But since it’s not “life” that actually hands you lemons…it’s actually us making the lemons in the first place…maybe it’s a good idea to think about this a little differently.

Maybe it’s not a good idea to be so reactive.

And when I say “maybe,” I mean it’s definitely NOT a good idea to be so reactive. Especially when it comes to owning and running a business. Because reactive people always have to work way harder than proactive people. And I’m talking about the down-in-the-trenches kind of work.

But down-in-the-trenches isn’t where you should be. At least not for long. And certainly not if you want a business that works for you instead of the other way around.

So, this week, I’d like you to shake things up a bit.

And consider how you can start making lemons instead of lemonade. Make this the week you get a system going for your business. My RondaReady system can help you plant your own “orchard” much better and faster. And keep in mind, your “orchard” will still need to be fertilized, irrigated, pruned, and sprayed. But with my system, you’ll eventually hire others to do all that.

Anyway, when you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you.

Because I truly do wanna help you…

Election prediction to ease your time restriction

A couple of days ago, as I was driving home from my last meeting of the day, I hit the scan button on the car radio. And one of the stops was an oldies station. And the song that played (and was way before my time, by the way) was called “Palisades Park.” So, I stopped the scan and listened to it. Because I grew up in California, and I used to hang out at Santa Monica beach. And Palisades Park was right there, too. So, even though the song was way before my time, it gave me a warm and fuzzy nostalgic feeling. And that’s why I wanna share my election prediction with you now.

Election prediction to ease your time restriction

“What does Palisades Park have to do with your election prediction, Ronda?” you ask.

Oh, I’m sorry. I forgot there’s a political election coming up. Yeah, I can see how that could be confusing. So, let me back up a bit and explain what I mean.

My memories of Santa Monica beach and growing up in California are sort of a mental vacation for me. Because, even though I now live in Colorado, I prefer those warm days in the sun on the beach. And when I plan out my vacations, they’re almost always on a beach somewhere. But that’s what I elect to do. (See what I did there?)

And, so I get a mental picture of me on the beach. With my large straw hat, big shades, and a lounger not far from the cabana. Yeah, I can almost hear the cool water lapping at my toes as I relax in the warm sun with the scent of saltwater and margaritas.

So, now that I’m all fired up and motivated, I set up my work calendar to include what I call “away time” so I can know when it’s all gonna happen. In other words, I make sure my schedule works for me so my away time is predictable. (See what I did there, too?)

But maybe that’s just me. Maybe you’re the kind of person who prefers to take a vacation only IF it works out that way on its own. If that’s you, you’re not alone. In fact, I’d say the vast majority of entrepreneurs and business owners run things that way. But that smaller percentage of truly successful entrepreneurs and business owners, the ones who can take some away time and their business keeps running like clockwork, use some form of the election prediction system.

And now I’m just calling it that to have a little fun with you.

Successful people either make or get a system. And you might be surprised at how many of them use my RondaReady system. Yeah, you can check around on my website and find a bunch of them saying nice things about how it’s helped them. But they’re the ones  who plugged their businesses into the system and followed through.

If you’re that kind of entrepreneur or business owner, then maybe you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business. If so, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you.

Because I truly do wanna help you…

This is business, kid. True love is gonna have to wait.

Opening scene fades in with the camera circling around a dark, shadowy figure. He’s standing over a seriously wounded guy on the ground. With a gun pointed at the wounded guy he says, “Sure. You think you did the right thing because you think you did it for love. But the truth of the matter is…this is business, kid.” He pulls the trigger. And the scene goes black.

I know you’ve probably seen a movie or two like that. Right? And, in a roundabout way, it reminds me of a young woman, I know, who was living what appeared to be an awesome life. Newly married. Successful business couple. Things were great. And she just knew it was the “right life” because she put her heart full of love into it.

This is business, kid. True love is gonna have to wait.

But shadows stepped in, knocked her down, and said “This is business, kid.”

Three kids came along. And the loving husband and father turned to drugs. And this young woman found herself in a whole different life than she could have ever imagined. Suddenly she had to pick up the slack and be sort of a double parent while juggling all the responsibilities of the business by herself.

Of course, it was too much for one person. So, this young woman had to sell her business and find work in the corporate world. And, oh yeah, deal with a divorce and all the headaches of that mess.

Fortunately, she landed a job that paid enough to take care of her family. And employers liked her and appreciated her organizational skills. So, she moved up. But this all started to take a toll on her family life. And she stressed over how she was missing out on watching her kids grow up. In fact, she realized she spent more time with colleagues than with her kids.

But rather than break down under the stress, she used it as a motivation tool.

And after seeing how her “system” helped her employers, she decided to look for a better opportunity. That’s when she became a partner in a small business. And she saw how unpredictable their lead generation and profits were. So, she decided to make an intense study of the industry. Before long, she mastered all the technical details of the business.

And she totally immersed herself in the finer points of formal training, coaching, and implementation. And that’s when she discovered how to build business better.

One thing led to another. And it all lead to an increased overall production of 82% over the next 6 years. Gross annual profits increased from $310,000 to $1.7M in 4 years. The business opened second and third divisions. And in 3 years those divisions earned over $4M. So, news of those successes got around. And the young woman was approached by several small business owners and entrepreneurs.

They wanted to know her “business secrets”.

So, she started taking on clients. But it was with the stipulation that they were willing to do what it takes to be true business owners and create business profits.

Since then, that young woman (who’s not as young as she once was) has helped scores of clients realize and expand their business owner dreams. And in case you haven’t guessed…she’s ME. And I can confidently say it’s my RondaReady system that has made all the difference for those clients.

So, do you have a story like mine? And would you like to turn it all around like I did? Then, maybe you’re ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business. If so, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Power of three awaits you in your quest for the gold

Over the weekend I read a fairly old business article. And I say fairly old because it was an online article from May of 2013. And seven years online is pretty old. But I really enjoyed what it said about the power of three. The writer said there are universal truths when it comes to marketing your business. And that’s a big one.

Power of three awaits you in your quest for the gold

The power of three is found all around you.

Think about it. Most everything is made up of solid, liquid, and gas. Molecules have protons, electrons, and neutrons. And you have to come in first, second, or third place for a medal in the Olympics. Device and appliance settings use some form of high, medium, and low. Even our good ol’ planet Earth is the third planet from the Sun in our solar system.

And I’m just getting warmed up.

There are three primary colors. Red, yellow, and blue. And there are three secondary colors. Orange, green, and violet. And even this article I’m sharing has the three basics of visual communication. Elements, fonts, and colors.

And did you know that a triangle is considered the most stable, solid structural form? Yeah, that’s why a lot of construction, where huge amounts of weight are gonna be involved, uses triangle elements. And triangulation (where you pick three points about 120 degrees apart to determine your position) is used by the military and astronomers.

So, can you see the power of three?

Of course, you might be thinking, “OK, Ronda. But how is all that supposed to help my business?”

Well, you probably won’t ever have to triangulate your business. And you might not ever need to figure out how many protons, electrons, and neutrons are in that first cup of coffee each morning.

But you CAN plug your business into a my RondaReady 3 stage system and start feeling the power from day one. What? Surely you didn’t think I’d talk about the power of three without connecting it to my system. Hey, I wanna benefit from the power as much as anybody else.

But seriously, I DO break my system into 3 stages. And they’ll only be mighty powerful business building tools for you if and when you plug in and implement.

So, I suggest you start today. Be the highly organized CEO of your business instead of just another worker. If that sounds good, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together let’s see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,
Ronda

Blatant sales pitch – protective eye covering recommended

Business Hub Consultant in Colorado Springs Posted on October 16, 2020 by RondaSeptember 20, 2024
Uh-oh. Cover your eyes because there's a Blatant sales pitch ahead.

OK, I hardly ever do this. But today I have a blatant sales pitch for my RondaReady system. Because I just talked with a one-on-one client about my online system. And when he found out how much a business building entrepreneur could save by plugging into my system, online, he said, “What?! Are you kidding me?! Have you shared this with all your contacts yet?”

I told him I’ve been sharing lots of information about my System, but I haven’t been sharing direct sales pitches. So, I’m gonna toss that out there for you today. And if you’re easily bothered by sales talk, here’s your last chance to avert your eyes…

Some of the blatant sales pitch features…

Monthly Coaching Processes/Ideas What/How – X 2ndyear+

And here are some Google Reviews I’ve gotten from business owners who use my System:

I was impressed that you did not work like other consultants I have known. Because they would charge an enormous amount of money up front, then would do their diagnostic work, and when finished, would provide a huge report stating what was wrong. But then they left to go home and did not explain how to make any significant changes. But you, on the other hand, work on a long-term basis. You charge as you go. And you visit with the client weekly or monthly depending on the need and work with them to make any changes that need to be made. – Larry B. – Business Broker

We first started our business only doing computer repair. And shortly thereafter, we were asked to do some other tech stuff like installing security cameras and wired networking in residences and small businesses. We rapidly realized that our business was expanding faster than we could keep up AND we had no real idea of how to manage and run this growing entity. Then, I attended a networking group of business professionals and met Ronda. And after meeting with Ronda for a consultation we decided it was time to get help. We had no idea of what a business coach was.

For 12 months, we met on a regular basis to discuss, plan and execute our ideas.

She took us from an empty 3 ring binder to a binder full of business processes, plans and training that we can use to continue with our growth. And we began to understand, very quickly, that running a business is not as easy as it seems to be. But, if you spend the time with Ronda to develop a plan on how you want your business to run, you will see your work at the end of the 12 months come to fruition and you know have a plan that you can take and grow with.

So, I learned really fast that this “development” is almost, if not, more important than actually doing “jobs” to bring in money. Why? Because anyone can go out and perform labor. To make a business successful, it requires a whole lot of labor back in the office. And without this plan, it’s just mass confusion and no organization.

We learned to manage our time.

Create customer lists and keep track of customer jobs. Create newsletter for our customers and how to communicate with them more effectively. And our business has now taken the next step in its evolution and we look forward to working with Ronda again to help us to continue to move forward in our endeavor. Without Ronda’s help and professionalism, we would have failed, like most businesses without a plan do. So, we owe our growing business success to Ronda and can recommend without any hesitation and doubts. If a business coach is on your radar, then Ronda is the coach you need. Success! – Alan G. – Owner Mountain Stream Technologies Colorado Springs, CO

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Ronda over the last couple of years. And her professionalism shines through. She has helped us scale and grow with a easy to understand process on how to stay high touch with our prospects and clients. So, I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking to grow their business. – James W. – Financial Planner

If you’ve made it this far, then you proved you can survive even a blatant sales pitch.

So, if you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, don’t buy it yet. Instead, book a free 30 minute call with me. And let’s see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,

Be everywhere at once. Well not really, but sort of.

I’m not God. And I’m so glad. Because I have more than enough responsibility just running a business and a family. Can’t imagine having to watch out over a whole world and universe and be everywhere at once. Makes me tired to just think of it. But I can get a little more of that omnipresent feeling with some help from technology and delegation.

Be everywhere at once. Well not really, but sort of.

I can sort of be everywhere at once in the digital world.

There are several places in my RondaReady System book where I talk about delegating things to other people. Of course, if you’re just starting out, you might not be able to afford that. But I recommend getting there as quickly as you can. Because, like they say, “more hands lighten the load.”

And I don’t just tell you to do as I say and not do it myself.

For example, even as we speak (so to speak) my tech guy is working on setting up my new podcast on multiple channels all around the world. Yes, you read that right. Very soon, you can have my business management tips and strategies delivered, hassle-free, to your ears. And it’s all being set up even as I’m preparing and writing this message.

Is this a great time to be alive and running a business or what?! (highly rhetorical question)

And I confess, I don’t have a clue about how my videos are converted into audio and then scooped up by podcasting directories. It still amazes me how fast everything has become online, too. I don’t know how they can keep making things so much faster, more reliable, and easy to use. But the good news is…I don’t have to know. And even better news is…because they can, all my new points of contact are made mighty fast and hands-free.

Well, my hands-free anyway.

And that’s one of the main points I’m always telling business owners and entrepreneurs. You can truly get more done by doing less. Less of the day-to-day stuff. And less of the things you’re not the expert in. But you’re gonna need a system to get you on (and keep you on) track. And I promise you, my RondaReady system can do that (and so much more) for you.

So, when you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,

Being in charge is just a matter of time

When I was a new mom, I had to find my around time. And I’m talking about work time, husband time, kids time, and personal time. And I had to make time to figure out my way around time. Boy, it even sounds confusing as I’m writing this and reading it back to myself. But I knew I’d better get in charge of my own time. Because, like something my mom told me that I’ll never forget.

She said, “If you don’t call the shots for how you spend your time… someone else will.”

Being in charge is just a matter of time

Yeah, you better be in charge. Or who knows who might take over.

And here’s another way to put it.  “The Lunatics are running the asylum.”

Not a pretty picture, right?

So…to get back to my time as a new mom. I figured out a system to classify time. And it was based on some things I learned from a real estate industry coach. And they’re easy, so I am passing them on to you!

  • Results time
  • Remodel time, and
  • Recovery time

See? Like I said, Easy.

Oh wait, you probably wanna know more than just the names. Yeah, those don’t do you much good without the explanation. And how to put them to use. Hmm…let’s see. So, what can I do about that?

Well, I do go into tons of detail about how to implement your different sections of time in my RondaReady system. But that’s a whole system for building your business faster and better. And the only ones interested in that are the serious entrepreneurs who wanna be more than just another self-employed worker. And research says that’s not most entrepreneurs because most are looking for a quick fix.

So, since the odds are you’re not looking to build your business better and faster, I gotta assume you’re not interested. And that’s OK. I wish you well.

But if by some slim chance, you ARE looking to make improvements starting today, let’s talk. Because you might really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business. It’s easy. Just book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,
