Build your business faster and better with your very own RONDA

If you’re a business owner or entrepreneur, you’re probably like most business owners I know or talk to. Because you’re probably always on the lookout for how you can build your business faster and better. Right? If that doesn’t sound like you, skip reading the rest of this. It won’t mean much to you. But if it DOES sound like you, you might get a kick out of this.

Build your business faster and better with your very own RONDA

Yeah, you can build your business faster when you grab your phone.

Well…let me clear one thing up. If you’re still using a flip phone from the nineties, or a “car phone” like the one in a sixties Bond movie, or if you still think a landline is the only way to go, then don’t grab your phone.

This won’t work with those kinds of phones.

But if you’re like most people these days, you’ve got a smartphone. And when it comes to building your business, my RondaReady system puts even more smarts in your smartphone.

Have you seen the explanation for the acronym in the header on RondaReady.com? The acronym is my name: R.O.N.D.A. And it stands for Responsive Organized Nonstop Digital Assistant.

And my system is like getting your very own…well…me. Ronda. Your very own advisor, business assistant, and ever willing worker bee right there in your smartphone. Any time day or night.

365 days a year. 366 days in a leap year.

When you consider how much money your little R.O.N.D.A. could save you, instead of paying for a “real person,” you can’t afford to be without it. And when you consider how much time and work, it can save you, I’m surprised you’re not already looking for a buy button.

But if you’re still not convinced and still not really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,
Ronda

Keeping score is essential for business

I heard a song on the radio in my car on the way to a client meeting this morning. It’s called “Keeping Score”. And I don’t remember who sang it. But it was about relationships. And the lyrics seemed to say scorekeeping in relationships isn’t the best strategy. There’s probably some truth to that. Because way too many marriages end up in divorce when one or both parties keep a mental ledger of What-have-you-done-for-me-lately stuff. And for what it’s worth, I recommend not using that approach with someone you love.

Keeping score is essential for business

But when it comes to business, keeping score is a whole ‘nother story.

Business is a little bit like a sport or a game. Because you should be “playing” (or working) to win. Right? But how can you be sure you’re winning if you don’t keep score?

Even if you don’t care what your competitors are doing, you still wanna be able to improve yourself. But how can you even know if, when, and how you’re improving if you don’t measure your own performance?

Like I say to all my new clients…if you don’t know where you’re going, how will you know when you get there?

And if you don’t know where you’ve been, it’s hard to know where you’re going.

And, in business, knowing where you’ve been means keeping track (score) of who your customers and clients are. You’ll also need to know when they buy (or bought) from you. It’s pretty darn important to know where they came from. And what made them connect with you. And, of course, it’s crucial to know the revenue numbers.

All that’s just a portion of the what you can track in your business.

It doesn’t have to complicated. But it does need to be comprehensive.

Good news is my RondaReady system has multiple at-a-glance reporting solutions to help you keep score. And there are plenty of other benefits to plugging your business into my proven system. So, my suggestion is to plug in today. Every day you put off getting help like this is another day your competitors can move further ahead of you. And if you can’t do it for them, then do it for YOU.

Yeah, when you’re really ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Stay Ready,

Moving forward by looking backwards and not falling down

Business Hub Consultant in Colorado Springs Posted on October 7, 2020 by RondaOctober 7, 2024
Moving forward by looking backwards

I saw these two quotes this morning as I was checking out the daily news. And they’re perfect examples of how you should think about moving forward. The first one is from Winston Churchill…

“The further backward you look, the further forward you can see.”

And here’s one from Steve Jobs…

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards”

Moving forward by looking backwards

In other words, moving forward requires looking backward.

Can that be right?

It seems a little counterintuitive. Right? I don’t know about you, but almost every time I’ve ever been looking backwards as I was walking, I tripped and almost fell. Or DID fall. And it’s so embarrassing. You almost always look around to see if anyone saw you looking like a dufus.

But those quotes from Winston Churchill and Steve Jobs aren’t about actual physical forward motion. Well, sort of. But it’s more about making sure your life (and your business) continue to have forward progress.

So, how does looking backwards help?

Well, when you look back, you can see where you did things right. And wrong. And you can “connect the dots,” as Steve said, and do more of the right things and less of the wrong things.

It falls under the category of “those who don’t learn from the past are destined to repeat it.”

And Winston Churchill’s idea of looking backwards “further” just means you have more data for connecting more of those dots. And guess what that becomes?

Your System

But systems take quite a bit of work to set up, implement, and test. So, you’ll need to invest your time (or hire someone) to set it up for your business. Then, you’re off to the races…so to speak.

Or…you could plug your business into my RondaReady system and get started right away. Because I’ve already done a lot of that work for you.

And I’ve set up a system that lots and lots of business owners have already used with results nothing short of amazing. Like Frank, who’s selling his business faster and for more money because the new owner loves how it’s already systemized.

So, when you’re ready to connect the dots for you and your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Caffeine content for your business

Funny how things go when you’re searching for stuff on the internet. For example, this morning I wanted to know the caffeine content in the coffee I was drinking. So, like just about anybody these days, I Googled it. And I found my answer. But I also  read a short story about Starbucks.

Caffeine content for your business

From caffeine content to Starbucks…go figure.

According to the article I read, Starbucks started in 1971. And the original owners sold it to Howard Shultz in 1987.

By 2002, there were about 6,000 stores worldwide. And that was a 300% growth rate in 15 years. (Think they did that by accident?)

Then, in 2008, Starbucks had to close almost 1,000 stores because of the slowing economy. And they experienced a 28% profit loss over the next two years. Some say the company veered from its original successful ideas.

(Translate that to: they veered from the system that got them there.)

But apparently Howard Schultz took back control of the company. And the story goes that he sent out a message to all employees on his first day back. He told them “The company must shift its focus…back to its customers.”

(Translate that to: We’re going back to the system that works.)

The Starbucks company implemented around 100 ideas, from customers and employees. And they developed a community of like-minded baristas and coffee lovers. And all you have to do is take a short drive around your town to see the successful results.

Today, the company employs 250,000 people at 27,000 locations worldwide. And they own several successful subsidiaries. and they continues to grow.

And I can guarantee you they don’t experience all this success by accident. No, they developed a system that works. And every day they work their system.

My RondaReady system might be the caffeine content your business needs. Best part is…it’s a proven system you can plug your business into, starting as soon as today. And your successful results will only be limited by the amount of time and effort you’re willing to commit to.

So, when you’re really ready to commit to being the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

You chose this. Now, lead the way.

Here’s a real shocker. Not every day is gonna shine like internet marketers’ pictures of expensive sports cars and mansions would have you believe. I know. Say it isn’t so. Right? But the truth is you’re gonna have days, and maybe lots of them when you first start your business, where almost nothing goes right. Or at least according to plan. And that’s when you gotta remember…you chose this.

You chose this. Now, lead the way.

Back in 1874, a boy was born to an aristocratic family. And little did anyone know, at that time, how this boy would come to be known as “The Bulldog.”

He grew up and became a prolific writer. And then he went into politics. And most consider his greatest strength to be his powerful speaking abilities. He was also greatly admired for his leadership style. Because it helped him connect with his entire nation. And they elected him to their highest office more than once.

This amazing leader made a motivational speech that’s still quoted today because of how well it highlights persistence. And the quote is this: “Never give in. Never give in. And never, never, never, never – in nothing, great or small, large or petty – never give in, except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

And this guy won a Nobel Prize for Literature. And he became the first honorary citizen of the United States of America. All this in spite of an ongoing battle with depression. He called it the “black dog” of his existence.

Who was this guy?

Winston Churchill. And if you haven’t read his story, treat yourself. Because it’s like a blueprint for leadership. Something you can use in your business every day. And remember…

No one forced you to be an entrepreneur. You chose this.

When you decided to be a business owner, you chose to skip the so-called “safe” 9-5 world. Because you decided you didn’t wanna spend your life in a job making someone else’s vision for their business come true. Does this sound familiar?

OK, now if you’re having a bad day or week, month, or year (after all 2020 has been challenging to say the least), consider this. If you’re not moving forward, you’re going backward. There’s no standing still. Because standing still just helps your competition move forward.

So, you gotta take on a leadership mindset. And leaders have to plan and anticipate. Leaders don’t do things last minute.

As a leader, you need a clear vision of where you’re going. And a strong belief you’ll get there. Remember, “never give in.”

My RondaReady system won’t necessarily transform you into a Winston Churchill. But it WILL give you all the tools you need to lead.

So, when you’re really ready to be the highly organized leader of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Why make it easy, when you can just Complicate things?

Robin (not her real name) could complicate things better than anyone I’ve ever seen. Before or since. And she carried that dubious skill over into her business. But that’s where her life veered completely out of control. And she’d spend her days procrastinating, worrying, waiting for the perfect timing. Or she’d make a to-do list of busy work every morning. And then be upset, every night, that her business was like the old song says “another day older and deeper in debt.”

It was so hard to watch. And since she’s a friend, I offered to help at a discounted rate. But she refused. Because she believed she could figure out where she went wrong. And then she’d be able to pull herself up and dig her business out of the quicksand.

But, as time went on, Robin kept repeating her mistakes. She’d take on too many projects. And couldn’t complete them on time. So, she’d have to take a cut in price or lose out altogether. But she felt like she couldn’t afford to say no. And that’s a recipe for chaos. Because that almost always leads to a race to the bottom in what you can charge your clients or customers. And when you head that direction, it’s so hard to keep paying the bills. What’s the word for that? Hmm…oh yeah. Bankruptcy. And that “Going out of Business” sign.

Does this sound bleak enough yet?

Business owners love to complicate things by “doing it” their own way.

And that’s even when they have a proven roadmap. I’ve seen it happen over and over again. It’s sort of like all those jokes you’ve heard about the husband who refuses to use the map. And then gets lost. And then he has to listen to his wife say, “I told you to check the map.”

But getting lost on a drive is cake compared to getting lost in business.

Because business has a lot more working parts. At least if you wanna build a successful business. And there’s only one way to navigate all those working parts. A roadmap. A system.

My RondaReady system can be your roadmap. And you can plug your business into it and avoid 99% of those mistakes Robin made. And the countless hours and headaches you’ll save will pay for your system…many times over.

So, why complicate things. Especially when you don’t have to. Instead, get ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business. And book a free 30 minute call with me. Together, let’s see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Got game? Or has game got you?

The urban dictionary says that “got game” means something, anything, you’re good at. And it doesn’t even have to be a game. So, people might look at a great actor and say, “They got game” and all they mean is, he or she is a great actor. And it’s just as important for business owners. Because your business is your game.

Got game? Or has game got you?

How do you know you got game?

If you’ve been around awhile, maybe you remember how the milk industry used to work real hard trying to get the public to understand how good and nutritious milk is. And that didn’t go over well. Because, mostly it’s not true. And also because they focused on the milk. Not the people drinking it. Big mistake.

But then somebody came up with the “Got Milk?” advertising strategy. And they featured well-known stars with little milk mustaches. The commercials were simple. The star would pop onto the screen with that little white, milk mustache and just say, “Got milk?”

And milk sales skyrocketed.

Steve Jobs was great at that with Apple, too.

When you watched his presentations or Apple’s commercials, you didn’t see comparisons with competitors. Or stats about how Apple computers compared to other brands. But what you DID see…and still do…is how Apple products help you enjoy, and even change, your world. In fact, one of the famous quotes from Steve Jobs is when he described the upcoming iPod. And Apple’s advertising was based on the quote: “1000 songs in your pocket. Can you imagine that?”

What does that have to do with my RondaReady System?

Well, I can tell you, from experience, that when you don’t have a system for your business, it’s difficult, or most times impossible to think creatively. And to focus on your vision. Because you’re too lost in the muddy waters of just trying to keep up with all the details.

But it’s the vision where the money is. It’s the vision where you’ll have a business you work ON and not IN.

And my RondaReady System helps you define your Vision, Mission, and Values. And even better…it helps you automate and delegate so you can stay focused on those.

So, if you can’t say you got game yet, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

You can haul equipment or fly a jet

You might have a lot of this going on where you live too. But the city where I live has road construction going on almost everywhere. And of course, it causes some inconveniences once in a while. Like today, when I had to wait for some road crews to load up a trailer they use to haul equipment. And I mean the big stuff. I think the one I saw today is called a backhoe. But that’s beside the point. What I noticed was how many details they had to pay attention to so the backhoe would stay on the trailer.

You can haul equipment or fly a jet

It takes a lot of chains and cables and positioning to haul equipment.

And I’m glad those guys took all that extra time to do it right. Even though it made me a little bit late for an appointment. But can you imagine what might happen if they didn’t get the backhoe secured properly? I get a visual of it bouncing off when they hit a bump on the highway. And that huge hunk of metal falling on vehicles traveling behind the trailer. Yikes! Hate to even think about it.

So, they went around the trailer and hooked up those chains. And cinched them down. Plus, they made sure the cables were attached to show brake lights and turn signals. One guy got inside the backhoe to be sure it was in gear. At least I guess that’s what he did. And another guy made sure the trailer was securely attached to the trailer hitch on the truck that pulled it.

You might be thinking, “Ronda, what does this have to do with me or my business?”

Well, I know you probably don’t have to tie down huge equipment on trailers. And you don’t have to worry about whether your day-to-day decisions could have life or death consequences.

Unless…

You consider the life or death of your business. Or to put it a little less harsh sounding…the success or failure of your business.

Many, if not most, businesses fail because the owners don’t have a system they can depend on. A system set up with automation and delegation. And a system that’s repeatable no matter who’s in charge.

But those business owners think they don’t have time to set up that kind of system. Or they can’t afford for someone else to help them set it up. Truth is, they can’t afford not to. Because a systemized business tends to succeed. And others tend to fail.

My RondaReady system is like the reinforced trailer for all your heavy equipment.

But it’s not for business owners who are afraid to learn how to adjust the “cables” and “chains.” Because, even though I’ve done all the heavy lifting for you, it still won’t work if you don’t plug your business into it. And that takes a mindset shift. From flying by the seat of your pants to streamlined private jet pilot.

So, when you’re ready to be the jet pilot of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

I bet you don’t have Time management issues

Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak started Apple computers using this resource. And Craig Newmark started Craigslist using this resource. Daymond John started FuBu clothing AND worked a full time job at Red Lobster using this resource. And I could go on and on. But the point is…if you think you have time management issues, I bet you don’t. You’re probably just not making the best use of this resource.

I bet you don’t have Time management issues

So, what’s the resource that can help you with time management issues?

Well, before I tell you what the resource is, let me just say you have free access to it. So, you’re not gonna have to raise any venture capital to pay for it. And it’s the same resource the most successful people in the world use. So, you have the same advantage as they do.

Know what it is yet?

OK. How about this? It’s available to you from the moment you wake up in the morning till the moment you head off to dreamland every night. So, it’s not like you’ll have to do a Google search to find it. Or save it in your favorites folder.

And you won’t have to login to some super secret entrepreneur site or Facebook Group to get access. No, like I said…it’s free and easy access for all.

Should I go on? No, I won’t keep you in suspense any longer. This free resource that’s available to everyone from multibillionaires to entrepreneurs living in their cars is…drumroll please…Time.

And you can’t make even one more second of it.

Neither can billionaires or even trillion dollar companies.

And you can’t even manage time. That’s why I say you don’t have time management issues. Because time flies and flows the same way for everybody. The difference between successful people and failures is what I always call schedule control.

And THAT’S something you CAN control. In fact, when you don’t is when you risk losing everything you worked so hard to get.

But the good news is…all it takes to control your schedule is a system.

And my RondaReady system might just be the light you’ve been looking for in that long, dark tunnel. Then again, it might not be. Because it’s not magic. You’ll have to plug your business into it. And that takes work. More work than a lot of business owner wannabes are willing to do.

But if you’re not one of those. And if you’re ready to be the highly organized CEO of your business, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together we’ll see if my system is right for you. Because I truly do wanna help you…

Small business mission

Imagine having a small business where your mission is to help entrepreneurs achieve their vision. And your plan isn’t to be a multimillionaire. It’s just to help others and pay the bills. But then…success shows up and sweeps you off your feet. That’s what happened to a guy named Russell.

Small business mission

Russell Brunson is a small business owner who nearly went broke.

In fact, he was almost bankrupt a couple of times. But he developed a system of using webinars and building up his email list. And he bounced back. And when I say bounced, I mean bounced HIGH.

Maybe you’ve heard of ClickFunnels. Yes?

That’s Russell. At one point he said he’d never want to build a multimillion dollar company. But it appears his company is worth almost a billion dollars now.

And how does that happen? Well, Mr. Brunson says it’s because he’s on a mission to help entrepreneurs. He says he wishes he could help people all around the world reach for and achieve their dreams.

Now, that’s a noble mission. Wouldn’t you agree?

And it goes to show you how important it is for YOU to have a mission. A reason to get up every day and go to work on your business. Because a mission drives you to do your best, be your best, and give your best.

And without a mission, your business might be on the brink of bankruptcy.

But they don’t teach you how to discover and develop your mission in business school. And it’s certainly not something you can get a degree for in college. And you can get some pretty weird degrees in college.

So, how do you discover and develop your mission?

Well, never worry and never fear. My RondaReady system is here. And I have a whole section in it designed to help you figure out your mission and your vision and values.

Those don’t seem all that important until you realize how crucial they truly are. But most small business owners don’t ever realize that. And they fail.

If you’d rather skip the whole business failure for lack of a mission thing, book a free 30 minute call with me. And together let’s see if my system is right for you. Because it’s my mission to help you…

Stay Ready,
Ronda
