Zealandia is rising up from your dreams

On February 17, 2017, somebody (or a group) discovered what they call a “new continent.” But it’s basically submerged under the ocean. I read a quote, from a geologist named Nick Mortimer, Ph.D. that said, “if you could pull a plug on the world’s oceans, then Zealandia would probably long ago have been recognized as a continent.” But apparently, even without pulling the plug, Zealandia is rising.

You can look at Google Maps or Google Earth and see Zealandia, underwater, all around New Zealand. It’s very cool to get a picture of how much bigger New Zealand would be if all that submerged land was above water.

And if Zealandia is rising, who knows what could happen?

I read about how massive the economic impact could be if New Zealand, or other countries, could lay claim the resources underneath Zealandia. Because it appears to have huge natural gas reserves, possible oil, and of course there’s all that extra land.

Just imagine. It’s all there. And it’s just waiting to be discovered, explored, and tapped into.

But I’m a business coach. Not a PhD scientist or geologist or underwater explorer. So, why would I even bring any of this up. Well, because I tend to equate or correlate everything to business. And Zealandia reminded me of something.

A lot of success, in business, especially when you just get started, is waiting to be discovered, explored, and tapped into. Your success increases as you dive into your dreams with passionate expectation. Like someone who’s about to discover a brand new continent. And you just KNOW it’s there. But you’ve got to uncover it.

And you’re just like those scientists and geologists who discover untapped resources underwater and underground. Because you need a System to get the job done better and faster.

Good news is…you don’t have to buy any heavy equipment.

But you do have to invest.

But aren’t your dreams and visions worth it? Don’t you wanna gain your independence? Emotional, financial, mental, and even physical?

So, you might think you could wait and sell somebody on your dreams and ideas. And you might think somebody, or some company, will catch sight of your dreams and invest in them. But it’s not likely if you’re not willing to invest in them first.

Because when you invest in good tools to help you build something powerful, you have something powerful to share. And that’s way more…well…powerful, when it comes to seeking investors.

My RondaReady System can help you build something powerful. And it can help you do that better and faster. You could see your own private Zealandia rising up from your dreams. If that sounds appealing, your link is below.

Best face forward isn't all it's cracked up to be

When I first started creating profiles online, I wanted to put my best face forward. Who wouldn’t? So, I made sure to get a professional picture. Set up a cover image with the “right info.” And then I checked out what others were doing to be sure I was holding my own online.

But then it dawned on me. Everybody wants their best face forward.

Well, most everybody anyway. Right?

And it can be easy to get discouraged when you see those “perfect” profiles and pictures. But there’s a bigger problem than that. It’s not difficult to look around and find others who aren’t doing as well as you. At least, it can look that way to you. But that’s when you can start to get the wrong impression of yourself.

Those kinds of comparisons aren’t helpful. Because they can slow you down from being the best YOU possible.

Here are some questions you can ask yourself to see if you truly ARE putting your best face forward.

  • Are you moving forward?
  • Are you taking actions each day to get you closer to what you want in your life?
  • Do you serve others well?
  • And do others keep working with you and love to refer you to their customers?
  • Do you have a system to effectively and efficiently follow up with your clients and customers?

If you can answer yes to those questions, then it doesn’t matter what others are doing. Because if you’re doing those things well, you’re a picture of success. And I’d love to hear your story.

And what others do or say is almost always nothing but distraction.

Here’s what I recommend. Your success comes from following YOUR path. Focus on your own consistent improvements. Get where you wanna be. And if your goal is to be a more highly organized CEO of your own business, then plug into RondaReady. It’s my proven System that’s helped lots of other aspiring business owners go from 5 figures businesses to 6 figures. And from 6 figures businesses to 7 figures.

So, if a System sounds better than daily confusion or frustration, click or tap the link below.

Trey talks about how YOUniversity has helped him

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this. But I talk a lot about how having a System for your business can help you build it better and faster. What I haven’t talked about as much is how much difference System Thinking can make to a young person about to go out in to the world. A young guy named Trey talks about it in this video I’ll share with you. And that way you don’t have to listen to me talk about it…

If the video doesn’t automatically show up or play for you, click or tap…or copy and paste…this link:

Valentine business cards - Should you or shouldn't you?

OK, it’s February 14th. So, I’d like to bring up what’s obviously on everybody’s mind today. And that’s the fact that Alexander G. Bell applied for telephone patents on this day in 1876. Yeah, I’m kidding. Well, Mr. Bell DID do that on this day. But this day happens to be Valentine’s. So, I know you’re busy ordering your Valentine business cards.

“Did she say Valentine Business cards?” you might ask.

Yeah, it doesn’t seem like something I’d recommend to most business owners. Because it doesn’t seem appropriate to think ob mixing some sort of “love messages” with your business persona. But after I saw a couple of ads for Valentine business cards pop up in other Google searches, I started to re-think what I first thought.

No, I still don’t think most business owners should send out typical lovey-dovey Valentine Day cards. But I can see how some businesses could “get away with it.”

For example, how about a flower shop owner? Or a candy store? They could certainly establish or expand their brand by tying it in with Valentine’s Day. But I DO believe it’s only special niches that would benefit from business cards with a Valentine theme.

And they can make good use of those cards by making them another way to stay in touch. I’ve talked a lot about how important it is to stay “top of mind” with your customers and clients. Because, in business, absence doesn’t make the heart grow fonder. It tends to make the customer wander.

And I mean, wander away.

So, sending out some special messages to your customers, on Valentine’s Day or any other day, helps keep you in their minds. And that sort of communication can be automated. (uh-oh, there’s she goes again)

It’s true. And the RondaReady System is a fantastic way to help you automate your communication. It’s like cloning yourself, but in a good way.

Wanna know more about it? Then, let not your heart be troubled. Click the link to my emails, below. And you can stay in touch with me as I share my System Thinking ideas.

Every day only matters to certain kinds of people

Every day. Two words. Tons and tons of practical wisdom.

Because success requires every day.

Maybe you’ve heard of these prolific writers. Maybe not. But check out what they’ve said on the subject…

Seth Godin (best-selling author of 18 books) “The deadline focuses the mind, of course. The curse of the traditional writer is that the publisher wants a book no more often than once a year. So procrastination is part of the process.

“But blogging? Once a day. Not every minute like Twitter, which provokes mediocre writing because there’s so much of it. But every day? Better write something, better make it good.”

Elizabeth Gilbert (#1 New York Times bestselling author of Eat Pray Love) “I abide by Goethe’s rule: ‘Never hurry, never rest.’ I never go into crazy fugue states, but I don’t ever stop, either. I’m a plow mule. I’m very disciplined, and I have a great regard for deadlines — usually my own.

“[Mom] … taught us not to become perfectionists, which is where a lot of procrastination and time-wasting occurs. Nothing is less efficient than perfectionism. Her great adage, which I still adhere to, was: Done is better than good.”

Mark Dawson (international bestselling author and entrepreneur) “I would commute back-and-forth for three hours a day on the train, and I still had the kids, commitments, family stuff…and I managed to publish just short of one million words in 12 months.

“The reason I was able to do that is I found the most perfect mobile office, which was the train…I’d get a coffee, open the laptop, put some noise canceling headphones on. I deliberately [turned off] my phone so I couldn’t get onto the internet easily. And I’d just write, I could very easily do 2,000 words in an hour and a half, getting there, and another 2,000 getting back.”

Do you detect a pattern?

And I know those are examples of writers. But their commitment to working at their business (which is also their craft of their skill) every day can, and should, be applied to any business.

You gotta get the big picture. Then you gotta determine the details. And then you gotta make sure you attend to those details daily. Because, think about it…tomorrow is gonna come whether you want it to or not. Might as well plan for it. Right?

Speaking of planning for it. I’m working on a unique way to help you line up your schedule every day. And I say “unique” because I don’t see anyone else doing it right now. But I think they’re gonna wanna copy my idea once they see how awesome it is.

Commitment issues of the poor and miserable

Do you have commitment issues? A lot of people do. And it’s probably impossible to calculate how many problems pop up because of this problem.

Here are some signs you might have commitment issues.

  • You don’t answer calls or texts
  • Poor communication in general
  • You avoid making future plans
  • Don’t wanna talk, or even think, about the future of a relationship
  • And serious, long-term relationships? Forget about it!
  • Flakiness
  • Emotionally detached
  • Too much focus on the little stuff

Maybe you’ve heard of Anthony Bourdain. Well, by all appearances, he had a life most people could only dream about. He was an American celebrity chef, author, and travel documentarian. And he even starred in his own TV and cable programs. What’s not to like. Right?

Mr. Bourdain hanged himself at the age of 61.

That’s the most serious example of the commitment issues. Because he gave up his commitment to life. And to anyone who loved him.

So, you do need to be committed…especially to not quitting.

And that goes for business, too.

I’ve mentioned this before. But Seth Godin, who’s not only a great writer but also a brilliant marketer, wrote a book called “The Dip.” And, in the book, he says there IS a right time to quit. And that time should be before you start investing time and money into something you aren’t going to complete.

Ouch. That’s gonna sting somebody. Not you, I hope.

If you determine, from the start, that quitting IS an option, then your “dream” doesn’t mean enough to you.

Because your desire and passion should be to make it work. To keep moving forward. And should always want to look for a way to make it happen. Strategies might change. But never lose sight of your dreams and goals.

And if quitting IS an option for you, then please don’t even think about investing in my RondaReady System. Why put yourself through that extra hassle and spend that money, if you might quit in the middle?

My course, that helps you set up your System, is ONLY for entrepreneurs and business owners who are committed and plan to stay committed to success.

If you’re that kind of entrepreneur or business owner, it’ll pay for itself. Over and over. And your link is below.

Work shadowing: No, it's not a video game

You know what’s worse than being a shadow of your former self? Being a shadow of someone else’s former self.  And you might be wondering, “Huh? How is that even possible?” Well, a relevant definition of it is work shadowing.

And work shadowing can take you down a shadowy path.

See if any of these descriptions sound like you…and I hope they don’t:

  • You put off hiring because you hate the headaches involved
  • You don’t have any of your roles and responsibilities written down anywhere
  • When you hire a new employee, you have them “shadow” you
  • You don’t have regular review times set up
  • There’s no system in place to help you automate and delegate
  • Feedback is too often in the form of angry or emotional outbursts

Sadly, that’s just a few of the problems that come with unspoken expectations.

One of my clients played the “shadow” game with his new employees. And he explained to me, once, how he was the only one qualified to show them how things worked. (first mistake) That kind of work shadowing reminds me of a quote I found that’s attributed to the poet, Rudyard Kipling. He said…

“A people always ends by resembling its shadow.”

You get that? It’s not a good thing to resemble your shadow. So, it’s an even worse thing to resemble someone else’s.

And my client had to admit he wasted a lot of time explaining things to newbies. Time that he could’ve used to focus on building his business.

So, I told him, “Instead of paying an employee AND still doing that job, why not make short, instructional, training videos?”

“That’s brilliant!” he replied.

And I thought to myself, “Not brilliant. Just efficient.”

But I said out loud, “Do it once. And let the system repeat it for you.”

It seems like it should be common sense how the right System can help business owners become highly organized and successful. But too many of them think they don’t have time for a System. And they fight it. And ultimately their business becomes a mental mine field. Covered with hurt feelings, bruised egos, and so much lost time.

And guess what?

That’s time you can never get back.

So, what’s the solution. Simple. All you gotta do is what one of my happy clients said to do, “If you don’t already have a RONDA, get one.” And what’s a “RONDA?” That’s your Responsive Organized Nonstop Digital Assistant (aka, a digital form of ME)

And your own personal RONDA is there for you 24/7/365 (that’s practically all the time). But she doesn’t work for free. Because no one should do that. At least no one with a System that can take your 5 figures business to 6 figures. And your 6 figures business to 7.

That’s like having a top-level executive assistant, office manager, secretary…all rolled into one…for $1.75 an hour. If you could get your business going better and faster and pay somebody $1.75 an hour to do it, wouldn’t you do it?

That’s what I thought. And that’s your RONDA. Your link is staring at you from just a little further down.

Comfortable with being uncomfortable sounds weird, but...

This doesn’t work for chairs, sofas, beds, or your car. But it’s actually a good thing to learn how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. And before you think that sounds contradictory, here’s what I mean…

So, are you in some sort of comfort zone right now? Are things going well for you and your business? Well, that’s great. But if you stay there too long, it probably means you’re not growing. And this life is about growing.

And growing means being uncomfortable. That’s why they call ’em growing pains. So, how do you manage being uncomfortable? I know it sounds like a weird question, but it’s a good one to be able to answer. It’s difficult.

But when you can learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable,

That’s the key. Learn to make room for it. And even embrace it. Because when you can work outside your normal comfort zone, so many more opportunities can pop up. And the world becomes way bigger. And you get way stronger. Then, you can get closer and closer to what you really want in life and in your business.

But those opportunities can easily pass you by when you’re afraid or unwilling to leave your comfort zone.

So, I encourage you to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Take on some challenges you don’t normally take on. Do some things online, and offline, that you don’t typically do. Consider setting up a System for your business that’s not all inside your brain. A System that can help you leverage your time. Help you automate. And delegate.

It just so happens  my RondaReady System helps you do all that. And lots more. In fact, I’ve seen it help lots of other entrepreneurs, like you, get out of time-draining comfort zones. And I’ve seen them become highly organized CEO’s of their own businesses.

You could be next. You’re just a click or two away from the proven RondaReady System. Look below and click now.

Stay Ready,

First Monday of the month and the fear of risk

Here’s something that probably doesn’t happen all that often. But I haven’t fact-checked it. So, I might not be as accurate as I think. But do you realize it took us a whole week to get to the first Monday of the month? Yep. And now that you’re armed with that tidbit of information, you’re RondaReady to go boldly into your week. And risk ready.

Show of hands. Who’s feeling risk ready on this first Monday of the month?

Ok, maybe you’re still on your first cup of coffee. Or maybe you didn’t hear me. But I didn’t see a lot of hands in the air for that question.

And maybe it’s because most people are still afraid of a little risky business.

If that’s so, maybe you didn’t know how that’s not conducive to starting, running, and successfully building your own business. Because you gotta take some risks. And I know you’ve heard that old expression, “the greater the risk, the greater the reward.” Right?

Well, the cold, hard truth is…that’s not always true.

But it’s true enough to become an old expression.

The unwillingness to take risks reminds me of a client of mine. She was what they call “risk averse.” And she basically always played it safe when opportunities to take her business to the next level would arise.

Then, she’d spend days, weeks, sometimes even months analyzing a next move.

And maybe it was just deciding the next piece of business equipment to buy. Or even something as simple as a tagline for her website. She’d agonize over every detail.

And I don’t like to see anybody agonize like that.

So, after working together for a few months, I suggested she should hire an assistant. Because business had stacked up so much she literally worked from early morning way into the night.

After my suggestion, she said, “Oh no, I couldn’t.” It would be too risky at this point. And I wouldn’t know where to start to get somebody familiar with my process. I’ve barely got it down myself.”

So, I said, “Well, I think it’s time you jumped into my system with both feet. You’ve dipped your toes in and business has grown. Why not commit even more and get even more positive results?”

(side note: I’m so confident in my RondaReady System, I use it myself. Gasp! Isn’t that amazing?!)

I can’t guarantee your success. Because I don’t know how committed you’ll be to working it. But I can say this with confidence, too. You can certainly stack the odds a lot more in your favor when you use a proven system.

Yeah, a proven system is your roadmap, your blueprint, your solution.

And when you know where you’re going, risk doesn’t make your teeth rattle.

Sure, I know I’m always telling you things, like this, about a system. And some people even think it’s because I just wanna sell you something. But that’s absolutely not true. If I only wanted to “sell” you something, that would mean I believe you’ll actually pay for it yourself.

I truly DO hate to see business owners agonize over any part of their business. And I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, how much more successful you can be when you systematize.

So, why not do what lots and lots of other business owners have done. Remove as much “risk” out of your business as possible. And invest in my RondaReady System. It’s an investment. But I’m confident it’s one you can get your extra sales and profits to pay for. The link is below.

Stay Ready,
Ronda

Double your pleasure and your productivity

It’s fun to go back and look at advertising from before I was born. Have you ever done that? Maybe it’s just me. But I recently saw a commercial for DoubleMint gum from way back in the black and white TV days. And, even though my kids like to say I’ve been around since the dinosaurs, that commercial was before my time. But I got a kick out of the jingle. “Double your pleasure, double your fun, with double good, double good, DoubleMint gum.”

Imagine, you can double your pleasure just by chewing the right gum.

And goodness knows it’s no fun chewing gum when you don’t get the full amount of pleasure from it. Right?

OK, I’m being silly to emphasize a point.

Maybe you can double your pleasure by chewing DoubleMint gum. But you can’t double your productivity. Because, as I’ve mentioned before, you might be able to walk and chew gum, but you can’t multitask.

Sorry to burst your bubble. (chewing gum pun intended)

But there IS one caveat.

If you’re OK with mediocre results, then, by all means try to multitask. And, in case you don’t already know this, focus is the number one skill of highly successful people. And success is your goal. Right? I mean, you could enjoy what you do as a hobby. But if you want lasting financial and rewarding success, then focus is the key.

So, my suggestion is to leave those so-called multitasking skills to so-called gurus.

Because I know you’re better than that. And I believe you have the desire it takes to get you where you wanna go. But maybe you don’t have the right tools to help you automate, delegate, and focus. And everyone needs help.

That’s where I come in. In fact, it’s why I started my business. Because I love to help hard-working go-getters like you. My RondaReady System could be your missing link. Because it’s been time-tested and proven to help business owners, like you, focus and be highly organized CEO’s.

And the RondaReady System has the tools to help you feel like you’re multitasking even when you’re not. And it might double your pleasure in life when you discover how much more time you have for the important things.

It’s an investment. So, if you’re not ready to do that, skip the link below. But if you’re Ready to make 2022 your break-out year, the link below could be the key to open that door.

Stay Ready,
Ronda
