Business Hub Consultant in Colorado Springs Posted on August 12, 2021 by RondaAugust 9, 2021

I remember a recent discussion with a new client, who’s been feeling “totally out of control.” And I saw that same look in her eyes and heard that same tone in her voice I’ve seen and heard so many times before. It’s heart-wrenching to me. Because I know these people are good at what they do. Not just good…excellent.

So, how did they get totally out of control?

Well, in the case of my client, we went over her daily activities. And it didn’t take long to see the problem. She felt out of control because she WAS out of control. And she let herself get side-tracked by the slightest distractions. Then, she had such a hard time getting back into the groove. And more often than not, she’d put things off.

(psst…I talked about that yesterday.)

Anyway, I showed her how she could get things back in control and get her sanity back with a simple “trick.” A “trick” that’s not a trick at all. And it’s not some snarky business hack. It’s just a matter of changing habits.

And I talk a lot more about it and show you how to do it in my RondaReady System. The reason it works so well and helps you be more productive is because you don’t have to shift gears so much. And when you’re distracted all day, you’re shifting gears back and forth whether you like it or not.

So, this “trick” gets you behind the wheel of an automatic super deluxe driving machine. At least, that’s how it’ll feel when you’ve done it for a little while. And you’ll speed-glide down the super highway of business where no distracting “billboards” can throw you off course.

Once I got my client going with this “trick,” she told me her workdays feel light years more productive.

I love hearing that.

Because I love helping business owners and entrepreneurs figure out and reach their dreams.

Tomorrow is another day and today is gone with the wind

“I can’t let him go. I can’t. There must be some way to bring him back. Oh, I can’t think about this now! I’ll go crazy if I do! I’ll think about it tomorrow. But I must think about it. I must think about it. What is there to do? What is there that matters? Tara! Home. I’ll go home. And I’ll think of some way to get him back. After all…tomorrow is another day.”

Of course, that’s the tomorrow is another day quote from Gone With the Wind.

Scarlett O’hara didn’t wanna have to think about any bad stuff today. She figured she could just “think about it tomorrow.” If you pay close attention to her lines in the movie, you’ll see she just wanted to have fun. Maybe she’s the inspiration for Cyndi Lauper’s song, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” But that’s just a silly guess on my part.

And have you ever noticed how procrastination doesn’t make the bad stuff disappear? Yeah, it usually means you’ll just have to deal with something even a little worse. Because problems tend to grow with the passing of time.

It’s like that in business, too. (Yes, I relate almost everything to business…because that’s my business.)

Are you a Scarlett O’hara business owner or entrepreneur? Do you try to put off the bad stuff (aka difficult stuff) till tomorrow? Well, you can try that and see how it works for you. But it means you’ve let one more day go by for your competitors to get a jump on you. And you’ve let another day of opportunity pass you by.

Another day…gone with the wind.

Another day you’ll never get back.

But if you wanna stop putting off your success, I can help you build your business better. And I can help you have more money, more time, and most importantly…more freedom. And I’m confident my RondaReady System can help you see how tomorrow is another day to do more of what you did today.

But if you’re not Ready to commit to the whole system just yet, at least get my free emails. Because I believe you’ll see I truly DO wanna help you reach your dreams. The link to subscribe is below.

Winners and losers - and a sad story about a little Mexican restaurant

The Olympics had ’em. Every game show has ’em. And even local business openings have ’em. I’m talking about winners and losers. Because not every competitor or “great idea” is gonna be successful.

I thought about winners and losers because of a story some friends shared with me.

They said they noticed a small Mexican food restaurant opening in their neighborhood. It was in a location they drive by “all the time.” But they agreed it might not be the best location. Because, believe it or not, the restaurant was directly across a parking lot from another, more established Mexican restaurant.

And while that seems like it should be an obvious mistake in judgment, it apparently wasn’t obvious to the hopeful new restaurant owners.

So, my friends noticed, each time they drove by, there were either only a couple of cars in front of the new eatery, or none at all. And this went on month after month. They said they wondered how the newer place even stayed open. And sure enough, it didn’t. In fact, it closed about a month ago. A sad failure.

Maybe they even served up good food. But, unless they open up in a better location, you’ll never know. Because the owners didn’t set themselves up to win. And winning, in business, is about more than just great ideas.

Lots of great ideas have ended up in the losers file down through the centuries.

And it was almost always because there was no System in place. No way to measure and track performance. No way to automate and delegate repeatable processes. And no guide or roadmap for passing it on.

When I hear stories like the one about that Mexican restaurant, I wish I could have been there to help out. But I’m no different than any other business coach. I can’t be everywhere I’d like to be.

So, I came up with the next best thing.

My RondaReady System. It’s my online business coaching AND CRM System. And it’s the only System in the world that includes ME. And pretty much any client I’ve ever worked with will tell you (and have said it on my website) that’s no small thing.

But, there’s a catch (you thought so, right?). My System is way to expensive for any business owner or entrepreneur who won’t follow through. If you’re not sure if you will, please don’t spend your hard-earned money on it. Instead, subscribe to free emails. And get to know me a little better first.

And I believe you’ll discover I truly DO wanna help you Get Ready, Be Ready, and…

Paint by numbers? Are you kidding me? Who does that?

I read an article about the paint by numbers fad from back in the 50’s and 60’s. And it said Max S. Klein, who owned the Palmer Paint Company in Detroit, Michigan, got the fad going. An artist, who worked for him, named Dan Robbins, came up with the idea. And he created many of the first paintings.

They sold the paint by number kits under the Craft Master label in 1951.

And by 1954 they had sold some twelve million kits. The article I read said the most popular subjects were landscapes, seascapes, and pets. But they also sold a lot of kits for Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper. The advertising on each box said “Every Man a Rembrandt!”

A couple of years ago I asked the question, “Would a great painter like Vincent van Gogh be against something like the paint by numbers kit?” And I said I didn’t think he would. Because Vincent said “The great artist is the simplifier.” Sort of like the acronym K.I.S.S. – Keep It Super Simple

And business is like art. It CAN be complicated. But it doesn’t have to be. Especially when you let the art part be governed by science. And by “science” I mean a proven System.

My RondaReady System is sort of like a paint by numbers kit. Because it’s a step-by-step outline help you expand and make more money with your great ideas.

Maybe you’re not an artist. And maybe you’re not even interested in art. But you can use your skills and talents to create something magical. Something rewarding. Not just for you, but for your family and friends. And even people you employ or might employ in the future.

And when science meets art like that, it’s awesome.

But I don’t want you to fork over your hard-earned money to get my System. Not right now. Because I want you to get to know me better so you can see I truly do wanna help you succeed. So, I recommend you get my free emails and follow some of my tips and strategies. Then, I believe you’ll be Ready to dive into the System lots and lots of clients have used to go from 5 figures business to 6. And from 6 figures businesses to 7. Yeah, I wanna help you…

Sweet dreams are made of this

Would you rather be able to buy your own home, take good care of your loved ones, or go on vacations more than one week a year? OK, it’s a trick question. Because I’m sure you don’t wanna have to choose just one. Right? And when you don’t have to choose, that turns your blurry dreams into sweet dreams.

No one ever says “Sleep well and sweet dream.”

Have you noticed that? Yeah, they always say “sweet dreams.” Plural. Because humans are too complex and important to just have one dream. And surely you’re not the exception to that.

Maybe your dreams are simple. Like…a better life where you can afford all the necessities. With maybe a few perks now and then. Or maybe you’d like to drive a paid off SUV and live in a paid off house. And then again, maybe you wanna go all out with houses scattered across the planet and a private plane to get to each one.

The point is, you can dream HUGE. But you don’t have to dream huge, or even big. You can dream normal life stuff. After all, they’re YOUR dreams. And I want to encourage you to follow them fiercely.

I’ve mentioned, how a few short years ago, my dream was to build my own business and be independent enough to stay home with my kids. But it took a lot of hard work and determination. And I moved to another state. But I made it. And I’ve never regretted my choice to leave the corporate 8 to 5 (which often felt like 24/7/365) world behind.

It wasn’t luck. And it wasn’t by chance.

Quite the opposite. My sweet dreams happened after I built an awesome system to go get ’em. A System that proved to be repeatable for basically anyone who’s willing to plug in, dig in, and stay in.

With my repeatable System, I’ve been able to help lots and lots of business owners and entrepreneurs build their businesses better, too. And I’ve seen a wide variety of dreams achieved.

Some clients wanted to build an even bigger business. Others wanted and needed help to get their things back under control. And still others needed to know they could make money and not sell their souls.

Maybe you’re still not convinced. I get it. Because maybe you’re thinking, “I don’t know this woman. This might be just another generic sales pitch site with empty promises.” If you’re still doubtful, then sign up for my free emails. And get to know me better. I believe you’ll discover I truly DO wanna help you Get Ready, Be Ready, and

Opportunity knocks, but that doesn't mean you should wait for it.

Sam Walton started his lifelong retail career in 1940. His first retail job was a sales trainee for J.C. Penney. And he was so good at sales that he was able to add about $25 a month, in commissions, to his salary. Sure, that doesn’t sound like much, by today’s standards, but it was a big plus back then. And Mr. Walton was a guy who didn’t exactly follow the “opportunity knocks” way of getting things done. No, he decided he’d do the knocking.

And get this…Sam’s boss, at J.C. Penney, told Sam he wasn’t cut out for retail boss.

Talk about the being on the wrong side of history…wow!

When Mr. Walton got out of the United States Army in 1945, he was already a family man. And he chose to go out on his own instead of just looking for a job.

There’s the first indicator that he didn’t wait to hear opportunity knocks on his door.

The next indicator is his willingness to invest in his own dreams and ideas. I read that he put up $5000 of his own money and borrowed another $20,000 from his father-in-law to buy his own Ben Franklin variety store. And that was in the little town of Newport, Arkansas. And Sam was only 27 years old.

I could go into the numbers and details about how Mr. Walton eventually turned that $25,000 into a multi-billion dollar business called Walmart. But you’ve probably heard a lot of that story. And once somebody becomes a billionaire, a lot of “regular” people don’t tend to relate to them anymore.

But I know you’re not a “regular” people…uh, person. Because you’re reading this blog post and interested in the back story. And that’s because you wanna be prepared for when opportunity knocks. But you also wanna do some of that knocking yourself. Right? You just wanna see if someone can help you avoid some of the pitfalls and financial challenges of going out on your own.

And maybe you can’t get $25,000 together to invest in yourself.

I get it. We’ve all been there at one time or another. And that’s why I put together some very affordable alternatives to help you get (and keep) some forward momentum. The most affordable option will cost you nothing. Just use the link, below, to sign up for my free emails. And I’ll share tips and strategies to help you find opportunities and do your own knocking.

So, if you wanna get moving, then take the next step. Click the link and sign up. And then…

Olympic Games and your big ideas are a lot alike

Sometime, in 1892, a young French baron, Pierre de Coubertin, wanted to start up the Olympics again. The games actually started way back in B.C. times. But by the 1800’s they had apparently fizzled out. But Coubertin wanted to have a major international competition every four years so different countries could prepare and attend. So when a conference on international sports convened in Paris in June 1894, Pierre brought up the idea again. And he received unanimous approval from 79 delegates from 9 countries. Then, after lots and lots of planning, the first Olympic Games (as we know them now) were scheduled for 1896 in Athens, Greece.

But what do the Olympic Games have to do with you and me?

Well, maybe nothing. I mean, after all, you might be like a guy I know who doesn’t watch any of them. Or maybe you’re like a couple I heard, the other day, who couldn’t seem to talk about anything else. It seemed like they knew all the competitors’ names, what times they’d be competing, and who had the best shot at gold.

But I’m actually not talking about the competition or competitors. I’m focused on the incredible amount of time and energy it takes to organize a schedule for over 200 countries and over 10,000 athletes. Wow, that’s gonna have to be one BIG spreadsheet.

But seriously…

That’s definitely not a job for the organizing faint of heart.

And I’d venture to say the same thing for your business. Because, if and when you decide to do business right, there’s a lot more organizing to do. The old shoot-from-the-hip method will only get you so far in today’s world.

Because things move at the speed of internet.

So, it’s good (translate that into “absolutely necessary”) thing to set up a System you know you can depend on. A System that does a lot of the work for you. Because, especially when you start out, you might have to be president, vice president, marketing coordinator, I.T. officer, maid service, courier pickup, and well, you get it.

And that’s when you’re gonna love the automation tools in a System. But how do you set one up? And how do you make it work for you and your business. And how long is it gonna take you to even understand the fundamentals? Well, I can’t say how long…for certain. But I CAN say it’ll take a lot less time when you plug into my RondaReady System.

And if you’re not ready for that sort of commitment, or if you’d like to know more, I recommend you sign up for my free emails. Then, get to know me and understand how I TRULY wanna help you succeed. When you’re ready to at least make that sort of commitment, signing up is even easier than watching the Olympic Games.

Never give up. Ok, now when should you give up?

Recently, some of my friends (who’ve lived longer than me) were talking and laughing about an old cartoon. And they said how much they loved watching it on Saturday mornings when they were kids. It was the Roadrunner and Coyote cartoon from Looney Tunes. And they said part of the reason it was so funny was how the coyote would never give up. No matter what crazy things happened to him.

And if you watch an episode of that cartoon, you’ll see a lot of crazy things do happen to Wile E. Coyote.

He gets blown up. Over and over. And he runs into solid rock. Over and over. Then, he falls off gigantic cliffs into the dust below. Over and over. But nothing sways Mr. Coyote off his course. Talk about focus. I mean, c’mon. How long would you keep going if you missed your goal every. single. time?

Yeah, if you’re like most people, you’d quit after one bomb blew up in your face.

And you’d practically despise anyone who told you to never give up.

Right?

And maybe you’d be justified. Because nobody wants to lose literally all the time. You can only come back from those challenges if someone is animating you to come back. Like Wile E.

But here in the real world, thankfully, you don’t have to endure endless setbacks. And you don’t have to wait for anyone to re-draw you back the way you were. Because here in the real world, you WILL catch your “roadrunner” if you never give up.

All you gotta do is stay the course.

But what course? And is it the same course for everyone? Hardly. No, you’re not exactly like anyone else in the world. So, why would you ever believe someone else’s course or path or choices would fit you?

In fact, they most likely won’t. So, you’ve gotta figure out who you are, what you’ll do, and why it matters. And it DOES matter. Because there are people in the world who need what you can share. And your way of sharing.

So, whether you’re starting out or starting over, it’s crucial to get a handle on who you are and what you’ll do. And then it’s crucial to set up a System to help you get there.

System Think and avoid bombs blowing up in your face.

Or, at the very least, you’ll be able to endure one or two bombs and then avoid them from then on.

And I have a solution to get you there. RondaReady YOUniversity. And the link to learn more and enroll (for way less than the cost of one month’s rent in a dormitory) is below. It’s time to catch your roadrunner.

Unfair advantage leads to a life of pampered luxury

Little Ralphie Lifshitz was born on October 14, 1939 in The Bronx section of New York City. And he was the son of Ashkenazi Jewish immigrants. Those are Jews who are dispersed mostly around Europe. His dad was an artist and house painter from Pinsk, Belarus. Ralphie had two older brothers and an older sister. And the fact that he was the youngest might have been his unfair advantage.

And I’ll share why I say “unfair advantage” in a minute.

But let’s get back to little Ralphie. He went to school at the Manhattan Talmudical Academy, which is a Jewish school keenly focused on the Torah. And then he graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in 1957. After that, he studied business at Baruch College, at the City University of New York. But he dropped out after two years.

Then, from 1962 to 1964, Ralph (can’t call him Ralphie anymore) served in the United States Army. And he followed that up with a brief stint as a sales assistant for Brooks Brothers. Then he became a tie salesman for another company. Yes, guys could actually earn a living as a tie salesman back then.

But you’d probably like me to get to the point as to why I’m sharing this story about Ralphie…uh…Ralph. Right? OK, the tie company he worked for was Beau Brummell. And at the ripe old age of 28, Ralph talked the company’s president into letting him start his own line.

So, after learning the ropes (or, in this case, ties), Ralph figured out a way to move up in the world. That was in 1967. And by 1968, he launched his, now famous, line of menswear known as “Polo.” I’m sure you’ve heard of that brand. And I’ll bet you know I’m talking about Ralph Lauren.

Yep. This “dropout” is now a billionaire.

And now, when he does something benevolent or charitable, there will be some who think he can do that because he has the unfair advantage of being a billionaire.

But since you know a little more of the rest of the story, maybe you understand how it’s much more than that. Ralph Lauren developed a vision for what he wanted to be and do. At a fairly early age he stayed focused on his dreams and goals. And he created his own roadmap. Like anyone, he had help along the way. But unlike most, he didn’t let distractions throw him off course.

And the way you can do that too is to figure out who you are and what you wanna do in life. The best time to start is years ago. But the second best time to start is right now.

Fortunately for you, I’ve built a System to help you focus. And to help you avoid distractions the way Ralph did. And you don’t have to do everything the way he did. Because you’re unique. But my System can help you take advantage of your uniqueness. As long as you’re willing to follow the roadmap.

If that sounds like a plan (and it is), and you’re not quite ready to commit to the entire System, I have another option for you. RondaReady YOUniversity. The place where you’ll focus on YOU. So you’ll be able to move in the direction that’s best for YOU.

Art and passion - they're not just for painters and singers

You might recall the time I mentioned Vincent van Gogh and his art. How he used paint and canvas to create beautiful and memorable masterpieces. Yes? But Vincent was also a deeply troubled soul, even though he was able to pursue his art and passion in spite of a lack of funds.

It seems like art and passion often experience a lack of funds.

But I don’t believe it has to be that way.

For example, your art might not have anything to do with paint and canvas. But you can still use your skills and talents to create something magical. Something rewarding. Your own masterpiece. And not only for you, but for your family and friends and even people you might employ.

Sure, you might never see your masterpiece or pieces hanging in a museum. And maybe you’ll write any top 40 hits. Maybe you won’t even take high-resolutions pictures from deep under the sea or deep in space. But nobody said you gotta be some kind of artist to create a masterpiece. In fact, most of the people who have ever lived weren’t famous artists.

Most people are just like you and me. Working on dreams and ways to take care of the ones we love. Right?

And that’s how your business can be your art and passion.

As you artfully provide income and opportunities. For yourself. And even for others.

Other people need what you can offer. And I’m pulling for you. I want you to be able to do that with your whole heart and soul. That’s why I created my RondaReady System. To help you pursue your art and passion. Even if that’s a store that sells nuts and bolts. Because I want you to have more money, more time, and more freedom.

So, if that sounds like something you think can get you over whatever’s been holding you back, click or tap the link below. Plug into a System that’s already set up to help you get where you’re going, better and faster. It still takes work. And if that worries you, skip the link. But it takes less work and time than starting from scratch.

If you’re a Gogh-getter…um, I mean go-getter, then go get your System right now.

Stay Ready,
