Life is tough. So, don't make it tougher.

Life is tough

Wow, all you have to do is watch the news for about a minute, and you know that’s true. Right? Life is tough. And there’s a lot going on out there that’s challenging small businesses and business owners to work harder. So, if you’re a small business owner, you sure don’t wanna add to that.

Just because life is tough doesn’t mean you can’t be tougher.

In fact, I’ll bet, since you’re reading this, you’re one of those people who likes a good challenge. Am I right? And I’m sure you want those tough times to pass as quickly as possible. Yes? Great!. So, that means it’s time to get that vision of your best self burned into your mind. Because positive thoughts give you positive feelings. Try it and see if I’m wrong.

If you don’t see yourself as a 10, maybe your hopes and dreams aren’t big enough to excite you. Now, there’s a little something to think about. But I’m willing to bet you ARE a 10 or you wouldn’t be reading this right now.

And now, come up with your top three reasons for building your best business…for being what I like to call RondaReady. OK, got those three reasons? Good. Now, create an image again. And, this time, make the connection between the work you’re doing now and where you see yourself in the future.

But first, determine your top reasons for building your best business. For example…in your mind you say, “I want to make more money.” And don’t worry that it might sound shallow. Because money does buy comfort doesn’t it? And lots of other things, too.

So go ahead and say it’s more money. But is it truly more money? Or is it actually what money can buy? Or maybe, for you, more money means more security. And maybe more options in life. But when you dig even deeper, those so-called “options” might boil down to spending more quality time with your family. And living life on your own terms.

Really take some time to reflect.

And focus on this exercise with all your heart and mind. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you find your relationships in life are what will help drive and propel you toward higher goals.

My RondaReady business system has lots of helpful exercises, like this, and tools to help you be your best self. And to help you build your business better and faster. And the whole system is in the RondaReady System book. Get yourself a copy today, at the link below.

It’s a very affordable way to get a business coach who wants to help you…

Stretch yourself into an amazingly powerful superhero

Are you ready to stretch yourself?

I’m not what you’d call an action movie superfan. But I’ve followed some of the superheroes enough to remember their names. And superpowers. One of them sort of fits something I’d like to share with you. Remember the Fantastic Four? They included the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and the Thing. And the leader was Mr. Fantastic, who was able to stretch into a lot of shapes and sizes. I saved him for last. And I wanna connect you to him. Because I want you to stretch yourself and be the leader, CEO, and superhero of your own business.

Your own business is a great way to stretch yourself.

Here’s how I described it just a few months ago: “Owning a business can be the easiest way to make money. Because when you serve others well, they’ll pay you for what you know or offer. But owning a business can be one of the easiest ways to crash and burn, too. Because it takes a clear vision of what you want to do and where you want to go. And you gotta write it down so it’s repeatable…even by employees. When you can smoothly repeat your processes without starting over every time, your little hatchback becomes a muscle car.”

Believe me, I know how it feels to go from that little hatchback to the muscle car. At first, it feels like all your mental muscles are gonna stretch to the breaking point. Because it feels like you’re screeching to a stop every time you have to write stuff down. But it’s actually just the opposite.

Writing it down and putting it in an operations manual helps avoid repeating the same moves again and again. It won’t feel natural at first. Because you’d rather do that thing you do. Sell that thing you sell. And talk about that thing that lights your fire. Right?

But I promise you…when you set up your system (the RondaReady business coach CRM system for example), it’ll feel like a superhero stretched out his hand and lifted you to victory. Only difference is…that superhero will be YOU.

Sound good? Then you might be really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…

Stay Ready,
Ronda

You might be one of those control freaks, if...

Make way for the control freaks

I was reading an article that talked about what makes a good leader. And one sentence really stood out. It said, “When you justify your hold on work, you’re confusing being involved with being essential.” And I thought to myself, “That’s a nice way of saying, don’t be one of those control freaks.”

Control freaks don’t get their title because of good stuff.

OK, I’m gonna use a Jeff Foxworthy technique.

  • If you believe every part of your business requires YOU…you might be a control freak.
  • If you can’t think of any part of your business that someone else could do better…you might be a control freak.
  • And if you’re never able to “get away” from your business…well, you get it. Right?

Believe me, I understand not wanting to give up any part of your business. It’s your baby. And your dream. And if it’s going well for you, by yourself, if you’re clipping along nicely, making enough money to live a good life, then keep on keepin’ on. Good for you.

But if you’re starting to think you’d like to kick things up a notch or ten, you might find out it’s gonna get mighty tough to do it alone. And that’s where you’ll have to decide whether you’d like to be involved or essential. Because being essential means being hands-on. Every business hour of every business day. And for small business owners that’s usually at least six days a week, if not seven. If that’s your preference, go for it.

On the other hand, if you’d like a more hands-free business, then it’s time to consider automation and delegation. And that’s where my RondaReady business system book really shines. It’s chock full of ways to automate your day-to-day tasks. And there’s a ton of training on how to delegate, hire, and organize your whole business into a personalized operations manual.

It’s not for control freaks, but it DOES help you control.

So, invest in your own copy of the RondaReady System book, today. And it IS a good investment. Because it can pay for itself exponentially, and help you…

Advertising campaign in your eyes and mouth

Your free advertising campaign

In a discussion with a client this week, he mentioned another business owner friend who’s been complaining about his ad budget. And that other business owner said something like “I can’t afford to spend money on an advertising campaign that doesn’t work.” Even though I can empathize with business owners struggling right now, I couldn’t help but wonder if that guy is his own worst enemy.

Can you afford a free advertising campaign?

And I’m talking about an ongoing marketing push that requires no budget, no board meetings, no business training, and never actually ends. It’s a time saver, a pocketbook saver, and peace of mind saver.

But…

It DOES require something too many business owners, these days, don’t seem too willing to provide. Remarkable customer service.

Last year I shared some information about getting referrals. Here’s a little of what I said.

When you provide products, services, or information for your customers, clients, and audience, do they tell others? Are they saying good things behind your back? Because business and referrals need each other. At least if you want to build your business better, faster, and without spending all your profits on advertising.

So, how do you get customers, clients, and patients to say good things behind your back? By doing your job? Well, that’s a little part of it. But a better way is to do much more than your job. Do what no one else in your industry is doing. Or even will do.

And sadly, it’s not that difficult to stand out and be REmarkable.

In fact, if you only provided your service or products on time and in good shape, you’d be ahead of most. But if you serve others like the average John Q. BusinessOwner, don’t be surprised to hear yourself complaining about a lack of business.

So, let’s say right now you don’t have enough funds to budget for advertising. What are you gonna do? My recommendation is to close your eyes and shut your mouth. Until you figure out how to use them to your advantage.

And if you’d like some help doing that a lot faster, my RondaReady business coach CRM system could be your business’s new best friend. Because I talk about the magic you already have. And I help you organize your assets to their fullest potential.

Interested? Then you might be really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…

Perfect time just ahead

Ah, the perfect time…just ahead

There’s never a perfect time. “I’ll get started on my own business after we get in our new house.” – “After we get married and spend time getting to know each other, we’ll figure out how to start a business.” – “I can’t think about that right now. We just had our first kid.” – “But honey, if we put out the bucks for that system right now, we won’t be able to go on our vacation.” Any of these questions sound familiar?

What time is the perfect time to take action?

Pick an excuse…um, I mean reason. We’ve all done it. So, I’m not picking on you or anybody in particular. But you’re probably like most other entrepreneurs. And you have a “reason” why you can’t get started right now. Or a reason why you can’t invest in your business. And don’t fool yourself and say,  “I’m deciding to wait.”

Because that’s probably that old dark demon…fear…holding you back.

Maybe you’re afraid you don’t know enough. Or you’re not good enough at what you do yet. Or maybe you think others will think you’re crazy. And they’re just waiting for you to fail so they can say they told you so.

I’m here to encourage you to stop believing the lies. And don’t let Mr. Procrastination tell you what to do. Instead, give yourself the tools and systems that will give you the confidence and know-how to go get the life you want.

Criss Jami, in a book called “Healology” said, “If you’re waiting until you feel talented enough to make it, you’ll never make it.”

But that’s not you because you’re here.

You want to succeed and you want the tools to help you start right now. You’re not willing to put the life you deserve on hold even one more day.

My RondaReady business coach CRM system has helped scores of other entrepreneurs, like you, beat Mr. Procrastination. With systems that can help you build your business better, have more money, more time, and more freedom.

So, invest in your own copy of the RondaReady System book, today. And it IS a good investment. Because it can pay for itself exponentially, and help you…

Good habits hide in the dark corners of your comfort zone.

Where are your good habits hiding?

Last year I shared a quote from Nathaniel Emmons that said, “Habit is either the best of servents, or the worst of masters.” And I went on to talk about bad habits and how they can be changed. But if you truly wanna do that, you’re gonna have to do something else. And it’s scary. It’s tough. And almost all wannabe entrepreneurs and business owners won’t do it. Because you’ll have to find your good habits.

Yeah, that’s why it’s scary and tough to find your good habits.

Because they tend to hide in those dark corners of your comfort zone. Sort of like the TV remote, when it drops down in the sofa. Changing channels and volume was so easy just a couple of minutes ago. But now you gotta play a game of hide and seek. And you might have to actually get up, look around, then dig around, and find the remote…in the “last place you looked” of course.

Just like that remote, a good habit might be hiding in the last place you look. YOU. Yes, you. Your bad habits are what keep you on that sofa. Or lying in bed till noon on Saturdays. And you might be so tied to your routine you don’t even notice your downhill slide.

But one day you wake up with a feeling of dread.

Gotta go back to that same job in the same place for the same hours again today. And even your job becomes a comfort zone. It might be boring and a drain on your very soul. But you can just go, do what you’re told to do, and go home. All those weighty decisions can be left at work. Because you can go home, at the end of the day, eat dinner, and binge on your favorite Prime Video series.

Easy, right?

But why do I say your good habits are hiding in there?

Because, even though this’ll sound way too simple, you can just decide not to keep doing those things. Stop doing the very things that keep you in that boring, soul-draining job.

Get out of your comfort zone full of bad habits. Change your TV time to BB (business building) time. Those same hours spent on movies could be spent on video trainings. And instead of looking for your remote, you could be looking for a pencil or pen to take notes.

Each time you replace a dead-end activity with a creative, potentially business-building idea, AND take action, you turn a bad habit into a good one. But remember, you’re an adult. No one else is gonna do this for you. And no one else should.

But that doesn’t mean you have to go it alone.

In fact, helping go-getters and risk takers change habits is part of what I love so much about my RondaReady business coach CRM system. And it includes video training, like I mentioned before. Plus, you’ll be building a system that’ll turn your good habits into great results.

So, invest in your own copy of the RondaReady System book, today. And it IS a good investment. Because it can pay for itself exponentially, and help you…

Scalable business ideas

Do you have scalable business ideas?

I know you’re a highly creative person. So, you’re overflowing with great ideas every day. Right? “Hey, I could put these with those. And I could have more of that and less of this. Oh yeah, I’ve gotta social media these pictures out to everybody.” Sure, you could do all that. But before you jump on all your great ideas, make sure they’re scalable business ideas. Unless you like to work more than you have to.

Yeah, scalable business ideas are the ones that DON’T require your every waking moment.

And that’s part of what makes them “scalable.” Just in case that’s a slightly unfamiliar term, it means you’ll be able to maintain and sustain growth. Especially in a way that won’t have you on top of every detail 26 hours out of every 24. Sort of like weeds. Ever notice how you don’t have to constantly water, fertilize, and cultivate weeds? They just keep growing. And a lot of times, even when you don’t want them to.

So, that’s why I’m always nudging go-getters and risk takers (aka entrepreneurs and business owners) to jump on my repeatable and proven business coach CRM system. My one-on-one clients have seen their businesses start growing like weeds after jumping on. Weeds with beautiful flowers (aka profits) that is.

And because I turned my training into an online course you won’t have to pay anywhere near what those one-on-one clients have gladly paid.

Membership in the RondaReady system includes a total CRM solution, too. And I produced personal video training where I show you how to build your business with it so you CAN create the amazing business life you deserve.

The three-stage RondaReady course includes:

  • 74 video lessons
  • Hundreds of instructional and example downloads
  • 24/7 discussion board for personal feedback
  • Long Term Access – with ongoing membership
  • Mobile ready access

So, when you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…

Launch your business

Need some fuel to launch your business?

I remember, back when I was putting my system together, reading so many articles, books, and websites about how to launch your business. And I remember thinking, “What do they mean launch?” Because I thought you were supposed to launch rockets. And you Start a business. But I found out about the difference.

Prepare to launch your business and watch it fly higher.

OK…think about the difference in just the sound and feel of those two words. Launch. Start. One sounds like it’s full of action. And the other sounds sort of…well…boring. Start? Doesn’t exactly fire up any exciting images. Right? Think of a race. Now, where do you think spectators and racers focus most of their energy? At the start? Or the finish?

Now, think of all the energy and excitement of a rocket launch. Huge explosion. Dazzling ball of flames. And a massive amount of metal hurling up through the atmosphere in a flash.

Big difference. Right?

So, which analogy would you like to apply to your business?

That’s a question I started (pun intended) to ask myself when I put the RondaReady business coach CRM system together. Because I wanted to fire it up and get it “out there” to as many go-getters and risk takers as possible.

And I discovered how I didn’t have to depend on one launch.

Yeah, it started with getting the word out, in my local area, about my system. And once it caught on, I wrote a book. Then, I built a brand new website. And then I added social media channels. Just this month I’ve created a special Facebook Group, Business Systems for Small Business Owners. And I’ll be launching that new rocket in just a little over a week.

So, to celebrate I’ll be holding a MasterClass for entrepreneurs and business owners on Facebook who’d like a jumpstart on how to Get Ready, Be Ready, and Stay Ready. If you’re one of those, here’s the link to join:

(class is now closed)

By the way, big-time go-getters and risk takers might prefer to skip the Facebook thing altogether. And if that’s you, then you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady. Here’s your link to get started:

The manager role: like the juicy part you were born to play

And the award goes to the manager role

Just heard it again today. A business owner, I know, has a tough time with a certain manager. Because that person won’t fulfill the obligations of the position. On top of that, the owner of the company is reluctant to step up to the management role, too. It’s a vicious cycle. Because the business lacks the results it needs to move the company forward. And these actions breed resentment on a personal level.

Play the manager role like a pro.

Michael Gerber in his amazing book, “E-myth”, sums it up so nicely. There are basically three business personalities: entrepreneur, manager, and technician. It takes all three roles, functioning well, to have a successful business.

The entrepreneur’s work is strategic in nature. Focus on the future. And develop a vision for their business.

The manager is the pragmatist, planner, and organizer. Where vision into action happens.

And the technician’s focus is on the present. The hands-on work of the business.

Stories, like the one I mentioned, just break my heart. This is a business owner who’s worked so hard in the technician’s role to to be able to hire others to do the work. A visionary who knows where they want to take their company. But someone who just can’t or won’t embrace the manager role and run the business effectively.

Too bad so many people need to be supervised. But the fact is, they all do at some level.

And it’s especially difficult when you anticipate confrontation because something the employee is doing or not doing needs to be changed or corrected.

The manager role: like the juicy part you were born to play

But leaders manage. Because they have to.

At least until they can hire a manager. The manager role doesn’t come naturally to most people. So, don’t beat yourself up over it, if you’re one of them. Your best management training is hands-on experience. Don’t have that? Then, your next best bet is to work with someone who has.

I got the tools and know-how to help others learn to manage as a manager for two very large insurance companies.

And if any of this story resonates with you, I’d love to help.

The RondaReady business coach CRM system has helped scores of other entrepreneurs, like you, learn to hire and manage employees better. With systems that can help you build your business better, have more money, more time, and more freedom. If that sounds like where you’d like to be, then you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…
