Panic Show might be coming to the big screen in your head

The real estate market definitely has more than its fair share of ups and downs. And that’s good AND bad. When the market’s up (people buying houses like they’re going out of style…sound familiar?), real estate agents are too busy to do effective marketing. So, when sales and listings are slow (and it always happens, at least eventually), Panic Show starts playing over and over in their head.

And the Panic Show has a cast of millions.

Millions of potential panic buyers. And those kinds of buyers tend to get bad cases of buyer’s remorse. And savvy realtors know, from experience, how terrible that can be.

Panic buyers are the ones who think they’ve gotta go get a house because prices are heading up faster than a rocket ship to the moon. And that, of course, creates the dreaded seller’s market (dreaded unless you’re the seller). Then prices get so inflated, buyers even waive home inspections. Just to get in while the gettin’s good.

And I read an article that said lots of those buyers aren’t doing their “due diligence.” They’re not even thinking about whether they’d like to live in the area where the new house purchase is. And the article mentioned a millennial, from California, who spent only a few nights in her new house and realized she hated it.

So, real estate agents and brokers know how buyer’s remorse can spill over into their own lives. And that Panic Show plot twist adds to their market slowdown woes.

But here’s the difference between a savvy agent and an unprepared one.

Real Estate Rachel has a system. A proven system to help her through ups AND downs. And consistent and predictable income sure beats wondering if and when she’ll get her next commission.

So, Real Estate Rachel taps into her system (psst…the RondaReady System is the best) every day. And since she started months ago, she discovered how irreplaceable it is to help her…

  1. Always stay in front of her database, automatically
  2. Find and secure more prospects to share her services with (automation works there, too)
  3. Develop automated workflows so nothing falls through the cracks

And with her predictable processes in place, Real Estate Rachel can enjoy the peace and rewards of being a smart business owner. You can, too with the RondaReady System.

But my advice is…don’t jump right in. Because it’ll cost you way too much if you’re not ready to dive in head first. In fact, if you’re looking for a way to make money fast, please go somewhere else. Because I can’t help you.

For go-getters, it’ll pay for itself over and over. But you should get my emails first and get to know me. Because you’ll discover I’m real. And I truly do wanna help you build your business better and faster, so you Get Ready, and…

Stay Ready,

Walk the plank, matey. But forget about Davy Jones locker

Alright matey. Today you’re gonna walk the plank. And you won’t even have swim with the fishes to Davy Jones locker. But you might be wearin’ armour before it’s all said and done.

I know, I know. What’s all this walk the plank talk?

Actually it’s Kevin Plank, the former (I think it’s former) CEO of Under Armour. You know, that little fitness apparel company that made Kevin a billionaire.

And apparently he was basically broke when he started selling his brand. According to an article I read, he took his savings, somewhere around $20000 and added another $40000 in credit card debt and started his company.

I guess he’d seen sports teams with their sweat-soaked uniforms and figured there had to be a better, cooler way to suit teams up. So, he got his gear together (so to speak) and made a sale to Georgia Tech University. No small deal. Because Georgia Tech people like their sports like I like the beach. And that’s not a little. In fact, that first sale was for around $17000. And it gave him the credibility and excitement to keep going.

After that first sale to Georgia Tech, Mr. Plank made good sales to a couple of dozen NFL teams. And that propelled him into turning his thousands into millions. Plus, he was able to hire hundreds of employees. And, according to what I read, Under Armour now does around $2 billion a year with around 5900 employees.

Wow. From broke to a billionaire.

Now, that’s some impressive plank walking. Right?

But I can guarantee that didn’t happen without a system. Kevin might not have started out with much of a system. But I’m sure he put one together as soon as he could.

Putting a system together might have been what made his financial journey a bit longer. Because he might have had to figure some things out as he moved along. But just because he might have had to figure things out as he moved along doesn’t mean you have to.

Nope. You can move your business forward faster than a billionaire with my RondaReady System. But, although my System won’t cost you a billionaire’s salary, it WILL cost you significant dinero. That’s Spanish for credit card, or something like that.

So, my suggestion is to jump on my free emails first. The main reason is because they’re affordable for absolutely anybody. And the next reason is because you’ll get to know me and discover how much I wanna help you Get Ready, Succeed, and…

What would you do if your crucial plans were all cancelled?

Imagine you’re about to get married. But you’re in the middle of America, and you need to get to New York. Or imagine you’re a neurosurgeon who’s also stuck in the middle of the country, and you need to get to Baltimore for an emergency surgery. And the reason you’re stuck is because your flight was cancelled. No flights out because of weather. What would you do?

But let’s not stop there. Let’s make it much, much worse.

Let’s say you manage to book a flight on a private plane with a pilot who has a fatal stroke during the flight. But it gets even worse. Because the pilot didn’t file a flight plan. And so you crash high in the snowy mountains. Now…

What would you do?

To be fair, I don’t know anyone who’s had to deal with all those challenges. But it IS the plot of a movie, “The Mountain Between Us.” So, at least in the movie, a couple of people had those massive obstacles to overcome. And it all started because their plans were messed up by weather.

It’s a great example of how even the best planners, the smartest people, yes even the best prepared people can be caught completely unprepared.

Except…

The couple in the movie were NOT completely unprepared.

Because they both led lives filled with routine AND the unexpected. So, each of them had their own approach to what you’ve probably heard of tons of times.

Plan B.

Right?

It’s the old when-life-gives-you-lemons-make-lemonade scenario. But you’re stuck with the lemons if you don’t know how to make lemonade.

And that’s where System Thinking shines. Because it trains your brain to keep you on track. Or you get back on track when you’re derailed by the unexpected. My RondaReady System does that. And I’ve seen it help tons of business owners and entrepreneurs build 6 and 7 figures businesses.

But my System is too expensive for business owners and entrepreneurs who aren’t prepared to do the work. So, if for any reason you’re not ready to make a significant investment in yourself and your business, don’t get it.

Instead…get my free emails and go through them (or read my blog posts on RondaReady.com/blog) slowly. Get to know me better. Because then you’ll see I truly do wanna help you succeed. And if you’re already a subscriber, let me know if there’s anything specific to your business you’d like me to talk about.

Because I wanna make sure you Get Ready and…

Performance measurements aren't just for weight lifters

If you’ve followed my messages for any length of time, you know how I prefer the term “schedule control” over “time management.” And there’s another switch I’d like to make, too. Instead of “data quantification” I prefer “performance measurements.”

Performance measurements even sounds better. Right?

Because that implies something’s performing. And hopefully performing well. But you don’t know until you look over what you’ve been doing.

A client of mine (who will remain nameless for this example) was always unsure about how to project what she’d do each new year. Because, as she said, she liked to “shoot from the hip.”

So, she’d sometimes spend weeks figuring out even small details. Because she didn’t have a clear picture of how things went the same time the previous year. And she wanted to keep doing better. But she wasn’t actually sure what “better” would be.

That’s why, after we’d been meeting for a few months, I suggested she focus on her performance measurements. And we got to work setting up her tracking tools (included in the RondaReady System). I won’t go into detail about what we did because each business is different. So, the way you use the tools wouldn’t necessarily be the same.

But I WILL tell you that, once she set things up and started to keep track, she could tell almost right away how it was gonna be a big difference.

And performance measurements are only on part of the RondaReady System. Only one part of your roadmap, your blueprint, your system. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard business owners and entrepreneurs talk about how much more confidence they have when they set up their System. But it’s a lot!

Yeah, there’s nothing like better time management, automation, delegation, and relationship-building tools to boost your business confidence. But it helps erase feelings of doubtful risk-taking when you know what’s what.

And that’s what a proven system does. Especially the RondaReady System. Because it has the one thing no other system in the universe has.

Me.

Of course, I realize it can seem self-serving to say that since it’s what I sell. But I also know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, how much more success your business can have when you systematize.

But don’t invest in my RondaReady business coach CRM system until you get to know me better. First, get my free emails for tons of ideas, strategies, and tips. You’ll discover I truly wanna help go-getters, like you, get where you wanna go. Better and Faster.

Time limit motivates entrepreneur to swim with the big fish.

A while back, I talked about a friend of mine who came, from out of state, for a short visit with me. We hadn’t gotten together in about six years. And after catching up for a little while, we got on the subject of trying new things. I told her how I remembered her saying “You can do anything for a year.” And I know it’s true because it’s like having a time limit switch.

There’s nothing like a time limit to motivate you to swim faster.

But while you run a business, regular life still has to be lived, too. You gotta take care of the family problems that pop up. Build and maintain relationships. Buy the groceries. Feed the kids…and dog. And, well, you get it I’m sure.

And none of that happens by accident. For example…

When you first learn to swim, you start in the shallow end of the pool. And you dog paddle just so you can keep your head above the water and make some forward progress.

But it doesn’t take long to figure out that doesn’t get you far.

So, you learn new strokes. And you start to swim faster, longer, and farther. Plus, you learn to float so you can rest in the water when you need to. The dog paddle is a tough way get across the pool…much less a lake or river. So, you master the more advanced swim strokes (HABITS). And you gain control and confidence and forget about the fear of drowning.

But another amazing motivator is your time limit.

Because, face it, it’s so easy to procrastinate when you feel like you’ve got all the time in the world. Right? But when you know you gotta get it done by next week…or tomorrow…or even later today, you kick in to gear.

Or at least you’d better kick it in to gear. Because missed deadlines are like poison. Don’t mess with ’em.

And you know what helps you set, track, and meet deadlines? A system. But not just any system. I recommend my RondaReady System. Because it’s the only one in the universe that includes me. Your own personal R.O.N.D.A. Responsive Organized Nonstop Digital Assistant.

But, you should know, like anything worthwhile in life and business, my System isn’t a cheap, get-rich-quick downloadable eBook or pdf. It’s a robust, online course complete with videos of me coaching you toward your goals. And it includes access to my CRM which will have you making and meeting deadlines like the pro you are.

So, since it’s not something you’ll find in the cheapo bin or miscellaneous discards, sign up for my free daily emails instead. And get to know me. Find out how much I love to help business owners and entrepreneurs build 6 and 7 figures businesses. I’ve been doing that for almost 20 years. And I’d love to help you Get Ready, and…

Common thread can weave some mighty uncommon results

I found this snippet from a “Rain Group” survey another person shared on LinkedIn. And it asked buyers what influences their decisions the most when they buy online. I found a common thread in their answers. See if it jumps out at you, too…

  1. Uncovering my concerns, wants, and needs
  2. Showing me what’s possible or how to solve a problem
  3. Listening to me
  4. Making the ROI case clear
  5. Educating me with new ideas and perspectives
  6. Communicating value
  7. Connecting with me and building rapport
  8. Developing a relationship with me
  9. Gaining my attention and keeping me engaged virtually

Did you pick up on the common thread?

Buyers want plenty of communication. Because it helps them build a real relationship. Or at least as real as it can be from online experiences.

So, as it turns out, people want the same things online as they do in real life. Communication. And relationships.

But it’s a busy world. Right? And when you’re building a business, you’ve got a million things to do. Because, well, that’s just the way business is. It’s real. Like life. Lots of steps, and hoops, and processes, and procedures. Sometimes you can feel like the proverbial hamster on the wheel. Right? And with all that, who’s got time for more communication and relationships?

But all of that is exactly why I built my RondaReady System. At first it was just to help me keep my sanity as I built my own successful business in California. But then I discovered it could help other business owners and entrepreneurs go for their dreams and goals a lot better and faster.

And I’ve been helping them build 6 and 7 figures businesses ever since.

And the common thread is…

The RondaReady System.

Because it helps you automate and delegate tons of the day-to-day stuff. Like communication tools to help you build those relationships. But it’s so much more. It also helps you laser focus and hone your System Thinking skills till your business runs like a starship. And you’re the Captain.

If that sounds interesting to you, but you’re not quite ready to dive in, sign up for my free daily emails. Because I share lots of valuable pointers to get you going, systematically.

Lots of my highly successful clients will tell you it’s the best way. And I won’t disagree.

So, don’t dilly dally. Get my free emails starting today. And if you’re already a subscriber, let me know if you have questions or other feedback. Because I live to help you Get Ready and…

One of your business owner superpowers should be your new hire checklist

When I suggested a new hire checklist to a client, around this time last year, he let out a heavy sigh. And when I asked him what was wrong, he said, “That sounds like a lot of boring, tedious work.”

True, a new hire checklist CAN be a lot of boring, tedious work.

But you know what’s a lot MORE boring and tedious work? Starting from scratch every time you gotta hire somebody new. Yeah, that sorta falls into that old definition of insanity…doing the same things over and over and expecting different results.

And I remember when another client of mine said, “Hiring and firing aren’t exactly the funnest part of business.” But I told both of my clients (just like I tell ALL of them…and now I’m telling YOU) how they’ll probably never have that feeling again once the system was in place.

So many small business owners give newbies just enough information to start getting a little of the work done. But then, they have to keep going back into training mode. Because they keep remembering things they forgot to mention the first time around.

And if you’ve ever found yourself in that position, you probably felt just like my client did. Hiring and firing just ain’t no fun. Right?

Then again, a whole lotta things in life ain’t fun without a plan. A system.

For example, when you have a new hire checklist, you’ll be able to go down the list, check off each step, and keep moving forward. Because you’ll know what’s what ahead of time. And you won’t forget things like…

  • Are they an independent contractor?
  • Will they be a w-2 employee?
  • Do you have any type of internal policies they need to sign?
  • Internet use, drug use / testing etc.
  • Industry classes they need to sign up for

And I’m just getting warmed up. There are plenty of other possible questions you can easily be prepared for with a System you set up ahead of time.

But then…you gotta go through all that boring, tedious process of setting up a System. Right?

Wrong!

I already did that for you.

So, you can just plug your business into the RondaReady System. And in a year from now (or less, if you’re a go-getter) you’ll wonder how you ever ran a business without it.

But don’t buy it today. Because I don’t want you to spend your hard-earned money till you know more about my System. And until you get to know more about me and how much I help go-getters like you.

Get my free emails first. I send them out 5 days a week. And I share tons of information you can use, for free, to get your business going the way you want. The link to sign up is below. Multitasking brain explodes. Business owner dazed and confused.

I smile to myself when I hear someone talk about their multitasking brain. Like in an article I read yesterday. A young business owner said she just can’t turn hers off. Because the minute she finds herself doing only one thing at a time she feels like she’s not as efficient as she could be.

But a multitasking brain and actual multitasking are a universe apart.

Sure, your brain is a multitasking masterpiece. And it can do so much at one time. Like…

  • Encode and decode images with blinding speed and accuracy
  • Keep you breathing…even at night when you’re asleep
  • Get your hand up to answer a question or scratch your head
  • Process and deal with pain points in the rest of your body
  • Detect if and when your heart’s in trouble

And the list goes on.

But, as amazing as your brain is, it can’t help you say two things at the same time. And it can’t help you wash the clothes, answer emails, and tie your shoes at the same time. And that list goes on, too.

The idea of multitasking is fine. But the reality is that you can’t do it. Yes, you can set the washer to wash your clothes while you talk text an answer to an email as you tie your shoes. But look at those three things more closely. You had help. An appliance and a smartphone did a lot of the work for you.

And even with all that help, you still lacked the one thing big-time successful people will tell you that you can’t neglect.

Focus.

Success requires focus. On one main thing at a time. Because you can’t focus on more than one thing and be exceptional? And like I’ve said before..

If you just want to be mediocre, by all means multitask.

But I know you don’t wanna be mediocre. Because you’ve read this far. And mediocre people won’t do that. And I also know you started your business with the idea of being successful. Right? Of course, otherwise it’s just an expensive hobby.

So, that’s why I recommend focused training on skills like making the highest and best use of your time. And, as it just so happens, that’s what this month’s (and this week’s…this Thursday in fact) RondaReady UNversity class is all about.

I’ve got some real, down-to-business how-to information to help you make the highest and best use of your time. And if you enrolled by yesterday’s deadline, you’ll get this training this Thursday, June 3.

If you missed the deadline, you can still enroll, but you’ll have to wait for July’s class…which will be another awesome lesson to help you build your own successful business. And if you enrolled, I’ll talk to you in a couple more days. And I look forward to helping you Get Ready and…

High hopes for anybody who's smarter than a little ant

As I talked with a client, recently, about some business growth ideas, his friend said something reminded him of an old Frank Sinatra song. “High Hopes” is a song about doing what others say can’t be done. And sticking with something till you get it done.

Here’s some lyrics from “High Hopes”

Next time you’re found, with your chin on the ground
There a lot to be learned, so look around.
Just what makes that little old ant
Think he’ll move that rubber tree plant?
Anyone knows an ant, can’t
Move a rubber tree plant.

But he’s got high hopes, he’s got high hopes.
He’s got high apple pie, in the sky hopes.
So any time you’re gettin’ low,
‘Stead of lettin’ go,
Just remember that ant,
Oops, there goes another rubber tree plant, kerplop.

Of course, the lesson in the song is to stay focused on what you CAN do. And don’t give up. Because even a tiny little ant can take down a giant plant. And if you can focus even a fraction as well as an ant, imagine what mountains you can move.

But you’re a business owner. Not a bug. And I know you’ve got a lot of stuff in your head. Ideas. Dreams. Plans. So, you’ve got a lot more distractions than some tiny rubber tree eatin’ bug. I get it.

But that means you’ve gotta make the highest and best use of your time. And I know, from experience, when you make the best use of your time, you’re much less likely to forget stuff or let your ideas fade away.

And that’s the key to focus.

I’m always talking about how your brain is (or should be) for creating…not storage. And when you get yourself in that mindset, you’ll be amazed at how much more focused you’ll be.

And I’ll be sharing a lot more of the How-To in the next RondaReady UNversity class. That’s coming up this Thursday because it’s the first Thursday of every month. And believe it or not, Thursday is the first one of June. Yeah, June already!

So, don’t put off these affordable lessons even one more month. Only $15, fifty cents a day, for strategies, tips, and tools I’ve used for years to help build 6 and 7 figures businesses. For me AND my clients.

Today is the last day to enroll for June’s class. After today you’ll have to wait for July’s class. So, don’t put off this way affordable investment in you and your business. When you implement what I teach, it’ll never cost you. Sure, you’ll buy it. But your increase in sales and profits will pay for it.

Sign up today, and…

Vacay mode - usually doesn't happen by accident

Wow, next week it’ll be June. And it won’t be long till this year is already half over. Hardly seems possible. But time flies when you’re livin’ life and gettin’ things done. Right. And that brings up the whole question of whether you’ll be in vacay mode or staycay mode this year.

Doesn’t vacay mode sound like some sort of dessert?

Maybe I’ve just got some pie ala mode on my mind. Hey, I’m human.

But, in a way, your vacay (aka vacation) IS like dessert. Because it’s the time away (when you vacate) from the everyday routine. Your time to recover. And get your mind, body, and spirit cleaned out with fresh air, sunshine, and activities you enjoy.

That’s why I call it recovery time. Because time away from “the grind” can free your mind. (hey, I made a rhyme and I wasn’t even tryin’)

Some time ago I shared how just the anticipation of going on vacation can help recharge your batteries. And I also shared this excerpt about it from an article written by Steven Handle:

The Power of Anticipation: Why We All Need Something to Look Forward To

“We all need something to look forward to in life. In fact, a healthy sense of “anticipation” can often help energize our lives, and even help us get through tough times. While living in the present is a very beneficial thing – sometimes the present can feel a bit annoying, frustrating, tedious, or intolerable.

The key idea is that by creating new rewards in your life – or by actively looking for things to look forward to – you can build more discipline and motivation in any area of your life where you are lacking.”

Carly Simon wrote a song about the power of anticipation. In fact, she called it “Anticipation.” And the message was so powerful Heinz Ketchup used it in a commercial. Because they wanted you to get the feeling that their ketchup is so good it’s well worth waiting for.

Your vacay mode should be like that, too.

So, don’t forget to plan for it. Because if it stays in your head too long, it might stay in your head. And you might end up staying home.

If that’s happened to you, please tell me you at least enjoyed some pie ala mode.

By the way, speaking of anticipation…my next RondaReady UNversity class is coming up next week. It’s the first Thursday of each month, and June 3 is the first Thursday. Less than a week away. So, don’t delay. Sign up today. (wow, I’m making more rhymes without even trying)
