Being a business owner is just one exciting thing after another

If you own a business, you might have been asked this question. I’ve certainly heard it more than once. “What’s it like being a business owner?” Sound familiar? And, of course, the answer is: It’s simply one exciting thing after another. Right? Oops, wait a minute. Reality check. Because, despite what some of those YouTube commercials show you, it’s not all big houses, fancy cars, and vacations.

Being a business owner means a lot of other things, too.

(Notice I said “too.” Because you might get those toys and trips, too.)

But as you go through the day-to-day business owner life, you discover those toys and trips come after (or it better be after) you take care of all the other details. And they might include…

  • renting an office…or designing your own home office
  • buying the office supplies,
  • getting the phone lines (and making lots of calls),
  • establishing your internet service and office network
  • upgrading your computer and printer…
  • paying the bills

And there’s more to consider…

  • working on your ideas…
  • brainstorming,
  • learning new software,
  • designing business cards and brochures,
  • building a website (SEO, e-commerce, etc.)

Wow! That’s a lot. Right? And we’re just gettin’ started.

None of those bullet points included hiring and firing. Or setting up your pipeline for repeat and referral business. Or how to automate your marketing or plug in social media.

And what about tracking systems. And a way to check your past performance so you can make better future predictions? Oh brother, there’s so much more to being a business owner. And after talking with oodles of clients over the years, I know how frustrating it is to just get started. Much less take on more.

That’s why I developed my RondaReady System.

And it’s also why I created my monthly RondaReady . It’s for business owners (or wannabes) who’d like to figure out how to create a system for their business. But they’re not quite ready to dive in all the way. They might need to dip their toes first and discover how simple it is to build.

If that sounds like you. And if you’d like to and be in time for the next class on April 1, then sign up before March 31. It’s a strict deadline. After then, you could still enroll, but you’d have to wait for the next class in May.

For hands-on how-to coaching on how to build your business better and faster with a proven system, monthly tuition is only $15. Remember, tardiness won’t be tolerated. You can cancel anytime. But dropouts will drop out forever.

Find out how awesome being a business owner can truly be, and . And Get Ready to Be Ready and be the highly organized CEO of your own business, and…

March Madness: apparently it has nothing to do with too much St. Patty's green beer.

March Madness. Sounds like something you’d suffer from if you drank too much of that green beer, I mentioned yesterday, on St. Patrick’s Day. But apparently it’s not about being loopy. It’s about being hoopy. Ooh, that’s a bad pun. And you probably already know I’m talking about the college men’s basketball tournament to determine the national champions.

An acquaintance mentioned the March Madness predictions going on where he works.

And being the huge basketball fan I am (not really) I was curious why it was such a big deal. You would have thought I just said something derogatory about his dog. And then I got more of the lowdown than I could have ever bargained for.

If I understand it right, the whole tournament starts out, in March of course, with 68 college basketball teams. And this all started in 1939, by the way. Evidently the 68 teams are divided into 4 regions. And they organize them into something they call “single-elimination brackets.”

At the mention of “brackets” I was shown a diagram of them. And it looks like the schematic to a radio. Or maybe the layout of the inside of a computer. Wow, these basketball organizers and teams are really serious about this.

The brackets help keep track of who’s playing which. And when a team wins a game, they see who they’ll play next. Wins and losses determine which teams are eliminated. And they work their way down to the “Sweet Sixteen.”

From there, wins and losses determine who’ll be in the “Final Four.” And of course, winners of those two games will be the finalists.

And this madness goes on mostly in March.

So, imagine how much coordination it takes to make all this happen. Not just scheduling the teams. But also the advertising and marketing for the event, TV, radio, and online. And hotel bookings, airline and other travel arrangements…not to mention (although I’m mentioning it) all the food for everybody.

A sporting event, where tens of millions of people get involved, has tons and tons of details to work out.

And I can’t imagine how they get it all done if they’re not using my RondaReady System.

But maybe they just haven’t heard about it. I can see how that might happen. It’s a big world, and maybe not everybody has seen my videos, listened to my podcast, or read any of my blog posts or emails. But since they haven’t, you can use that to your advantage.

Yeah, you can enroll in my monthly RondaReady  and get a jump on all those other people who are running around looking for a way to organize their businesses.

RondaReady UNversity is hands-on how-to coaching to help you build your business better and faster with a proven system. And monthly tuition is only $15. That’s only 50 cents a day. What else can you get for 50 cents?

But remember, tardiness won’t be tolerated. The deadline to enroll, and be in time for the next class on April 1st, is March 31st. After that, you can still enroll, but you’ll have to wait for the next month’s class. Keep in mind…you can cancel anytime. But dropouts will drop out forever.

My suggestion is…join today. While it’s fresh in your mind. And Get Ready to Be Ready and be the highly organized CEO of your own business, and…

Blarney, baloney,
frogs, stones, and a wee bit o' kissin'

I bet you’ve heard the story of The Frog Prince. Or sometimes it’s called The Princess and the Frog. But the main plot of the story is how the princess has to kiss a frog in order for it to turn back into a prince. A prince who had an evil spell cast on him. And that sort of segues into the St. Patrick’s Day celebration going on today. Because I think those Irish people cast a magic spell, too. I mean, if they can get us to wear green, drink green beer, and kiss the Blarney stone, upside down, that’s pretty powerful.

And legend has it that kissing the Blarney stone gives you eloquence.

But not the eloquence of speech like some great orator. The Blarney eloquence is more like pleasant, but slightly deceitful, chit chat that doesn’t offend. For example…

“Ay you’re lookin’ sweeter than the golden nectar from the honeysuckle this mornin’, lassie.”

“Ah, that’s a wee bit o’ Blarney, Danny Quinn…but I’ll not stop ya from speakin’ your mind.”

See? How could a lass be upset with an over-the-top compliment? Even though she knows the lad has ulterior motives. Right?

So, I don’t know if any of that’s worth even a shilling to ya. But it’s St. Patty’s Day. And I figured I’d show you I’m not always about makin’ the green. Sometimes it’s fun to just be wearin’ it.

But just in case you’d like more than a dash of Irish luck to boost your business, I’ll be sharin’ another way to improve your ability to make more green to buy more green to wear. Yep, the next monthly RondaReady  class is comin’ up in less than 2 weeks. It’ll be on April 1st.

So, you don’t wanna be an Irish April fool and miss it. The strict deadline to enroll in monthly coaching lessons (and be in time for the one in April) is March 31. Any later, and you’ll have to wait for May. And that ain’t no Blarney.

Apprenticeship programs increase Benjamins

Wanna make more Benjamins? Then maybe you should consider a career path like the famous Benjamin whose picture is on those hundred dollar bills. Just in case you didn’t already know it, Benjamin Franklin didn’t go to college. And he didn’t go to typical schools. In fact, he learned great skills in apprenticeship programs. But in spite of that (or maybe because of it) Ben was a successful business owner, diplomat, philosopher, scientist, and statesman.

Those apprenticeship programs included indentured servitude to his own brother.

And that’s where he learned the art and science of printing and journalism. His brother, James, founded America’s second newspaper. Second! Can you imagine?

But instead of the boring jobs of letter setting and newspaper sales he was supposed to do, Benjamin wanted to be a writer. And he knew his brother wouldn’t go for it. So, he decided to write some articles to the paper. And he used the pen name, Silence Dogwood.

His brother actually liked the letters and published them in the paper. Benjamin created a whole character background for Silence Dogwood. She was the widow of a rural preacher. And she had to be “an enemy to vice and a friend to virtue.” Plus, she hated certain things about the government like the problems of unlimited power. And that went well…until it didn’t. But that’s another story.

Fast forward a few years and Benjamin gained some valuable skills in printing shops in England. Skills that pretty much no one in America had yet. And he was able to take what he learned, working in those shops, and get work in New Jersey for a shop that printed money.

During his time in that specialized printing shop, young Mr. Franklin did some serious networking. And when I say serious, I mean with men in powerful positions. Like a well-known judge, a provincial Secretary, a surveyor general, and members of the the local Assembly. And those connections proved to be very good for his bank account…so to speak.

After some partnerships and coordinated ventures, Ben bought his own printing company. And he bought the Pennsylvania Gazette from Samuel Keimer, a man who once employed him.

Ben’s skills from those apprenticeship programs and partnerships were priceless.

They helped him pursue and enjoy a successful printing and writing career. And his career helped him get attention from his community as well as from people of the political persuasion.

And you probably know more about what happened after that. Right?

Ben Franklin was the oldest signer of the Declaration of Independence. Maybe you’ve heard of that? And he experimented with electricity. And he built up a nice enough fortune to be well off during his last years.

All that from a guy who didn’t attend a university.

On an unrelated note (just kidding…it’s related)…

Some people have no desire to spend tens of thousands of dollars (or more) to go to college. And that’s one of the reasons I developed my monthly RondaReady UNversity (and another option to be announced soon). Because I want to give options to young (and not so young) students who’d like to laser focus their learning to build a business instead of get a degree.

And next week I’ll be talking more about the upcoming monthly lesson, for April. So, be sure to open up my daily emails for those updates. Especially if you don’t wanna end up indentured to somebody else’s dream for the rest of your life.

Too difficult or way easy? Maybe it's both.

The RondaReady System for building a business better and faster is too difficult. And it’s so easy. And you might be asking, “How can it be both?” Simple. Because there are basically two kinds of business owners. Those who are willing to do whatever it takes to turn their ideas into money-making reality. And those who aren’t.

For those who aren’t willing, even a totally proven system is too difficult.

But business owners who ARE willing to do the work tend to jump into the RondaReady System and discover how easy it is to follow. It includes…

  • Describing your best self

  • Determining what’s truly important to you

  • Predicting your accomplishments

  • Avoiding burnout

  • Setting income goals

  • 74 video lessons

  • Hundreds of instructional and example downloads

  • 24/7 discussion board for personal feedback

  • Long Term Access – with ongoing membership

  • Access on mobile devices and desktop

  • Step by step Instruction sheets

  • PDF Fillable Worksheets

  • Real Advocate Examples

  • Surveys

  • And learn how to set up/document for a turn key business Instruction on CRM application

  • Mobile Device Ready

  • Course Completion Certificates

  • Audio & Text Lesson Versions

  • Monthly Coaching Processes/Ideas What/How – X 2nd year+

So, does that all sound too difficult?

Or don’t you think you’d love a proven system you can plug your business into and start seeing better results? I know my clients, who’ve gone from 5 to 6 figure businesses…and my clients who’ve gone from 6 to 7 figure businesses sure love it.

But I know they’re more the exception than the rule. Because you can only be exceptional when you’re going above and beyond what others do. If you fit that description, my guess is you’ll buy my system, but your extra profits will pay for it.

It all started with an idea to help entrepreneurs and business owners, like you, plug into a proven system and RUN with it.

But my suggestion is you don’t jump right in. Instead, open my daily emails and get to know me a little better. And give me a chance to know you, too. And when you like what you read and watch, then you’ll be better informed to take that next step. Your own proven System.

Daylight saving time: a joke, a nazi plan, or somebody's cause?

Depending on what source you choose, daylight saving time was either a joke started by Benjamin Franklin, or a clever tactic devised by Nazi Germany. And it was also the life’s work of a guy named William Willett, from the U.K. But regardless of where and how it started, it can sure be a pain in the neck. Right?

Daylight saving time is gonna make you lose some sleep this weekend.

And there’s nothing you and I can do about it. At least, not if we wanna stay on the same time as our customers, clients, and patients. After all, it wouldn’t be terribly efficient if we were an hour late for everything. Because people might start to talk.

It’s funny (odd, not ha ha) how daylight saving time doesn’t actually save daylight. Or time for that matter. In fact, it doesn’t even save resources like electricity anymore. And that was one of the most important reasons for putting it in place for some people.

So, I guess you and I are gonna have to set our wristwatches (do you still wear one?), the clock on the coffee maker, and the clock on the stove an hour ahead before we go to bed Saturday night. Because we don’t wanna look silly, like we just lost an hour (and can’t find it anywhere) on Sunday morning. Right?

Yeah, I don’t have an answer for how to solve that whole daylight saving time thing.

But I can help you get more done in the hours you’re awake.

My RondaReady System won’t save you any daylight. But it can certainly make it seem like you have more daylight hours. At least my clients and I have enjoyed that feeling for years.

If that sounds like something you and your business might like, I suggest you jump on over to my System Signup Page. But I warn you…it’s not a magic wand system. Even though once you get plugged in, it might feel that way. No, it’s gonna take dedication and persistence.

And the kind of people who don’t sleep through the “spring ahead” time change are the kind of people who can plug into the RondaReady System and RUN with it.

Join today, and Get Ready to Be Ready and be the highly organized CEO of your own business, and…

Stay Ready,
Ronda

P.S. In case you didn’t catch the hints: don’t forget to set your clocks ahead Saturday night.

Trial and error versus thoughtful theory and a system.

I live near Colorado Springs, Colorado. And there’s a guy, you might have heard of, who’s especially famous around here. Nikola Tesla. And the reason I’m sharing his name with you, today, is because of his aversion to the trial and error method of figuring things out.

And I agree with Mr. Tesla about that trial and error method.

I’m not a fan. So, I guess that makes me a genius. But I’ll leave that to the history books.

Anyway…I read an article that quoted something Tesla wrote about Thomas Edison. He said,

“If Edison had to find a needle in a haystack, he would proceed with the diligence of a bee to examine straw after straw until he found [it]. I was a sorry witness to such doings…a little theory would have saved him ninety percent of his labor.”

People love to use Thomas Edison’s example of finding the solution to the electric light as a motivational tool. You’ve probably heard it. Right? Edison reportedly said something like, “I haven’t failed. I’ve found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

And that certainly shows determination and persistence. But what if Edison had been more like Tesla? What if he had spent more time cultivating the theory of electrical current? And what if that time spent building a system could have saved him thousands of “ways that won’t work.”

That might’ve made the light bulb go off, for Tom, a lot sooner.

(pun intended)

And that’s why I developed and built my RondaReady System. Because I saw how the key to business success, for virtually all successful business owners, down through the years, is having a dependable system.

So, I built the system, and it’s helped my clients and me build 6 and 7 figure businesses over and over for the past 17 years. You can find out more when you open my free daily emails. And I’ll even send you the first stage of my System. It helps you set the foundation for YOUR system. And it gets you on the way to drawing up your blueprint for success.

Friends business and the golden rule

Friends, business, and the golden rule. Those are three things that I started thinking about this morning after seeing a meme. It had a picture of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson looking like good buddies. And underneath the picture it said…

  • If my friend is an accountant, that’s where I’m doing my taxes.
  • If my friend opens a bar, that’s where I’m going to drink.
  • And if my friend opens a restaurant, that’s where I’m going out to eat.
  • Others may have better prices, but I’m helping my friends build their business. We will succeed together.

So, friends doing business with friends.

That DOES sound like a successful strategy. Agree? And it makes perfect sense. Because successful business owners will tell you they got that way when they focused on building relationships. And, in the marketing world, there’s a couple of old sayings I enjoy reading or hearing every time.

People do business with people they Know, Like, and Trust.

And…

People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Yeah. Relationships. Friendships. And Success.

It’s why I dedicated a lot of my RondaReady System to building relationships and referrals. And it’s why I prefer to work with my clients and customers like they’re my friends. It’s why I treat them as I’d want to be treated.

And that’s how my friends and I have built 6 and 7 figure businesses.

It all started with an idea to help entrepreneurs and business owners, like you, plug into a proven system and RUN with it. And I know I mention this a lot. But it’s because I want all my friends to be as successful as they can or want to be.

Join my free email list, today, for daily tips and strategies. And if you’re really ready to Get Ready, Be Ready, and be the highly organized CEO of your own business, get my full RondaReady System, and…

Spinal cord injury can be repaired when you plug this in...

Wow! I just read an article about something a research group from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology discovered. They came up with a treatment, for spinal cord injury. And they call it targeted neurotechnology. The article said this technology has already helped three people with spinal cord injuries to walk again.

Can you imagine how amazing that must feel to those people?

The article said the targeted neurotechnology delivers timed electrical stimulation up and down the spinal cord. And they used that technique on people whose injuries even happened more than four years ago. These are people who, by all appearances, would never walk again.

And yet, the article said the doctors who administered the treatments saw immediate improvements. Previously paralyzed people could once again move legs and ankles on their own.

Of course, it’s not a miracle. People didn’t just start walking around and applying for jobs, running marathons, or any of that. But they were able to walk and even cycle…even out of the laboratory.

And it’s all because scientists and doctors figured out a way to plug in electrodes and figure out the best stimulation approach for each person. But the technology is still too expensive for many, if not most, people to afford it. Because it’s still in the research phase. But it’s exciting to think.

A spinal cord injury might not mean total paralysis anymore.

Just imagine how much relief that could bring to people who’ve lost their muscle control. And even their sense of touch and feel, and proper functions of their bladder and bowels. Imagine them being able to have electrodes plugged into their spinal cord and start improving right away.

I love what scientists can figure out by studying the systems in our bodies. Because then they can see what it takes to get things working properly. Or get them working again.

And if it feels like your business suffers from a spinal cord injury, maybe you should plug in to a system that can help you get back to normal walking and running. Maybe even far beyond what’s been your normal for too long.

That’s exactly why I developed and built the RondaReady System.

It all started with an idea to help entrepreneurs and business owners, like you, plug into a proven system and RUN with it. It’s like targeted neurotechnology for your dreams.

Fingerprint scanner is real. Push-button easy, not so much.

A friend of mine recently got the new MacBook Air M1. And for anyone (me included) who doesn’t use or follow Apple computers, the M1 computers use Apple’s silicon. And for anyone who doesn’t understand why that’s important (including me) it probably isn’t important. It has to do with Apple making everything that Apple uses. So…OK. But my friend said he thinks one of the most interesting features is the fingerprint scanner.

Of course, smartphones have been using fingerprint scanners a long time.

But most computers have still been the old style of login with a user name and password. So, I can imagine the more streamlined fingerprint login is a nice update.

Then again, the face scanner is pretty amazing technology, too. But the whole fingerprint thing catches my attention because it goes back to the idea of push-button easy. You know…that sales pitch that internet marketers are pushing to business owners, all the time, these days.

And the reality, of course, is nothing’s truly push-button easy. Not in business anyway. If you’re working on a business you want to go the distance, I probably don’t have to tell you it’s ongoing hard work. But you keep doing the work because you love it. Right?

Yeah, and just because it’s difficult doesn’t mean it has to be the same ol’ same ol’. Checking in on every detail, personally, every day. That’s like needing your login and password every time you log onto your computer instead of simply scanning your fingerprint.

And the reason I know it doesn’t have to be the same ol’ same ol’ is because several years ago I built a System to change that. I shared that story and a video I presented to business owners on my about page. It’s RondaReady dot com forward slash about-Ronda.

But I don’t want you to get the idea I created a push-button easy business System. Like I said, those don’t exist.

But the RondaReady System IS fingerprint scanner ready.

And that means you don’t have to login or dig in to your business the same ol’ trial and error way. You can plug in to the proven System that’s helped my clients and me build 6 and 7 figure businesses. But you should know it’s a substantial investment.

So, if you’re a newbie on a small budget, my System probably isn’t for you. Although I believe it would be worth it to Go-Getters to borrow the funds and get started right away. And Get Ready to Be Ready and be the highly organized CEO of your own business, and…
