Is Your comfort zone making you uncomfortable?

Is your comfort zone making you uncomfortable?

Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. Comfort won’t get you where you wanna go. Unless where you wanna go is shoe shopping, or the couch, or recliner. And in the store, or on the couch, or in your recliner ain’t where the money is. And having no money is not a recipe for any kind of comfort zone.

I have a client who was distressed about not being able to find new talent. Until recently, with a somewhat transformed local market, he’s always found potential personnel in the same places. But lately those places haven’t produced any prospects for a much needed additional crew member.

So…I challenged him to look in different places. I said,

“Sounds like your comfort zone isn’t so comfortable.”

So, he set up some other places to check into. Then he followed through…using the RondaReady CRM. And guess what? He found a qualified candidate, with the right skills and the right attitude, in a brand new place. Score! That’s how it’s done.

Opportunities can easily pass you by when you’re afraid or unwilling to leave your comfort zone. I know it wasn’t easy for my client to go places he’d never gone before. But I’m proud of him for realizing how getting out of his comfort zone opened his business up to lots more possibilities.

My RondaReady RondaReady System has helped lots of other entrepreneurs, like you, get out of comfort zones and become highly organized CEO’s of their own businesses.

Invest in your own copy of the RondaReady System book? And it IS a good investment. Because it can pay for itself expValentine’s Day is just a week away. Skip the chocolates and treat yourself to a better life.

Risky business is less risky with a proven system.

Who’s afraid of a little risky business?

Well, lots of people. In fact, probably most people are afraid of a little risky business. And that doesn’t compute when it comes to starting, running, and successfully building your own business. Because you gotta take some risks. You’ve probably heard that old expression, “the greater the risk, the greater the reward.” Right? Well, the cold, hard truth is…that’s not always true. But it’s true enough to become an old expression.

A client of mine (who will remain nameless for this example) was what they call “risk averse.” She always played it safe when it came time to take her business to the next level. And she’d spend days, weeks, sometimes even months analyzing a next move. Or piece of business equipment. Or even something as simple as a tagline for her website. So, after we’d been meeting for a few months, I suggested she should hire an assistant. Because business had stacked up to the point where her work days went from early morning to late night.

“Oh no, I couldn’t,” she said. “It would be too risky at this point. And I wouldn’t know where to start to get them familiar with my process. I’ve barely got it down myself.”

So, I said, “Well, I think it’s time you jumped into my system with both feet. You’ve dipped your toes in and business has grown. Why not commit even more and get even more positive results?”

Now, I don’t mean you should run a “Risky Business” like in the movie with Tom Cruise?

Far from it. That movie included high risk illegal activities. And you should Never Ever (with a capital N and capital E) risk your business that way. But you should know, even before you start your business, you’re taking a risk. Because there are no guarantees. But you can certainly stack the odds a lot more in your favor when you use a proven system.

I know, sometimes even diving deeper into your own business can feel risky.

But when you follow your roadmap, your blueprint, your system…you’ll probably be amazed at how that feeling melts away. You might actually begin to embrace the inherent risk of business with a new-found confidence. Especially when you’re using tools like better time management, automation, delegation, and building relationships. It’s not “gaming the system.” It’s not what they used to call “black hat.” And you’re not using trickery, social media hacks, or online smoke and mirrors.

No, it’s all about reducing the bad effects or bad feelings of risk taking by using a proven system.

Yes, I know I’m always talking about a system. And I realize it can seem self-serving since that’s what I sell. But I also know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, how much more success your business can have when you systematize. So, why not take the business building “risk” lots of other entrepreneurs have taken and invest in my RondaReady business coach CRM system?  What do you say? Are you really, really ready to get ready? Then, get RondaReady and…

Practice better get better and stay in control

Practice better get better

“I really want to be more organized,” he said. “I know I need to be more efficient and productive. But I’m just not good at it.” So, I looked at Bob (not his real name) and asked, “Well, how do you get good at anything? Practice. Right? And when you wanna get better, practice better. But how?

Bob needed to practice better. And I helped him see how he could.

Here’s the thing…(and like I say to new clients all the time) if you’re not in control of your schedule, someone else will be.  You don’t have to look far to find someone ready and willing to take over and tell you when to do things. It can even happen at home. When you don’t take charge at home… your kids and pets will.

And it only gets worse when that happens in your business with adults.

Prospects and customers have no problem taking control of when you meet. If you let them. And don’t be surprised when your employees start making their own rules about time off. Or how productive they feel like being. If. You. Let. Them.

But don’t let them.

Stay in control of your schedule. You’ll be so much happier. But how do you do it? Yep, you gotta practice better.

And a proven system can help you do that. For example, start with these steps…

  1. Decide what you really want to accomplish
  2. Categorize all the steps /tasks that must take place to achieve those accomplishments
  3. Work a time blocked schedule. Set recurring time blocks for those categories
  4. Be intentional about scheduling your day-to-day tasks and appointments during your corresponding time blocks
  5. Be vigilant about your daily schedule to support what you decided in the first step

Do this and your business can improve beyond what you might even imagine. Invest in your business. And in you. Aren’t you worth it? Start with my RondaReady business coach CRM system.  Remember, when you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…

Either way, it’s the gift that can pay for itself over and over. Your link is below.

Hiring and firing probably aren't your favorite part of being a business owner

Ah, the most funnest part of business…
Hiring and Firing

Last week, in a monthly meeting with one of my clients, she told me how she needed to hire a new person for a new position. And she said, “Hiring and firing aren’t exactly the funnest part of business.” We both sort of laughed a little. But I could see she was really dreading the process. So, I reminded her how we’d be setting up a great system for that. And I told her how she’d probably never have that feeling again once the system was in place.

Hiring and firing don’t have to be the evil villains of your business.

In fact, I’ll give you a short, easy checklist of 3 questions you can answer to see where your business stands. You just need to answer openly and honestly. Ready? Good. Here you go…

  • On a scale from 1 to 5, with 1 being the easiest, how easy is it for you to plug someone new into your organization?
  • Are job positions and their responsibilities so clear even a newbie can understand?
  • Do you wing it? In other words, fly by the seat of your pants without a net?

On that last question, I’m talking about what I’ve seen so many small business owners do. They give newbies just enough information to start getting a little of the work done. But then, they have to keep going back into training mode. Because they keep remembering things they forgot to mention the first time around.

And if you’ve ever found yourself in that position, you probably felt just like my client did. Hiring and firing stink.

But I wanna help you beat those blues and have fun in your business playground again. And I know my RondaReady business coach CRM system can help you get completely organized. So organized you’ll never dread bringing people into your team again. Or even letting them go when necessary. Plus, you’ll be doing it so effectively and efficiently you’ll wonder why you waited so long to get RondaReady and…

Multitasking skills You ain’t got ‘em

Multitasking Skills – uh…yeah.

Just heard again today someone talking about their awesome multitasking skills. I hate to burst your bubble. But that’s an oxymoron. Doing something well requires focus. How can you focus on more than one thing and be exceptional? Short answer is…you can’t. Sure, you can pat your head and rub your belly at the same time. But you’re probably not gonna impress many serious customers or clients.

If you just want to be mediocre, by all means multitask.

Sure, you can watch the game on TV and hear your kid tell you about the bully at school. But, be honest, you know you can’t really listen to and pay attention to both. To truly tune in to your child’s anguish, you’re gonna have to tune out a play or two of the game. And, on the flip side, if you just gotta see that next play, you sacrifice that meaningful connection with your kid when they need you most.

Focus is the number one skill of highly successful people. And you started your business with the idea of being successful. Right? Of course, otherwise it’s just an expensive hobby.

So let the so-so’s believe they’ve mastered some epic multitasking skills.

You’re better than that. And if you need help focusing, don’t feel like you’re the only one. Who couldn’t use some help? In fact, it’s why I started my business. Because I love to help hard-working go-getters like you. My RondaReady business coach CRM system has been time-tested. And it’s proven to help business owners focus and be their best, most highly organized CEO selves.

The system can take the place of most of those multitasking skills you might think you need. And I know you’ll love it when you have more time in life for other things that are important to you. Like helping your kids through a crisis. Oh yeah, and the big game, too.

So, when you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…

Customer comes first - no, not really.

Customers come first. Or do they?

Of course, if you’ve been in business for any time at all, you’ve heard the old sayings. Customers come first. Or, the customer’s always right. Or, visualize your ideal customer. Nothing wrong with any of those. Except the one about them coming first. I’m gonna share some shocking news with you. Your customers should not be your first priority.

Remember what the flight attendants said before takeoff?

In the event of an emergency, when the air masks drop, what are you supposed to do if you have kids? That’s right. Put your mask on first. Then, you can put your kids’ masks on. And of course, that’s because if you drop out due to lack of oxygen, you’re not gonna be able to help anybody. Much less your children.

What’s that got to do with business and customers? Simple. You’ve got to get your own business in order before you can take care of any customers or clients. And you won’t be any good to any of them if your business is on life support. No system for keeping track. No automation or delegation. And no processes in place for follow-ups, referrals, or repeat business. Organizing and systematizing your business comes first. Then, you can take on customers and serve them properly.

When you’re good and ready, THEN your customers come first.

Good news is…it’s not nearly as hard as it sounds. And it can go so much faster when you plug you and your business into a system that’s already proven to work wonders. The RondaReady business coach CRM system is your best choice. Because it has something no other system in the world has.

Me! I love to put my go-getter customers and clients first. And I love to help them succeed.

So, when you’re really, really ready to get ready, book a free call with me.

When you hate your businss

When you hate your business,
do you REALLY hate your business?

I’ve seen some business surveys, online recently, asking questions like: Do you hate your business? What do you hate most about your business? And…What do you do when you hate your business? It all sounds so sad to me. Because I actually love my business. And I’ve loved it for the whole 17 years I’ve been at it. Because it has so many advantages over a J.O.B.

When you hate your business, I believe it’s actually something else.

Maybe not all the time. I’ll concede there probably are business owners who’ve reached the end of the road with their business. And they can’t leave it in the rearview mirror fast enough. But I believe the majority of business owners who begin to feel like they hate their businesses have other issues. And I think a lot of it is trying to figure out how to organize and keep track of things like…

  • Attracting the right talent for your team
  • Buying and selling
  • Landing the right customers/clients
  • Hiring/firing procedures

Those aren’t the only potential problems. Not by a long shot. But they’re probably not the parts entrepreneurs see when they first envision the dream of owning a business. Maybe you didn’t think about dealing with cashflow issues, cybersecurity, accounting, bookkeeping, and collections. But the unglamorous parts are there whether any of us like ’em or not. They’re the nuts and bolts that hold things together.

But what holds the nuts and bolts in place?

A system. And if you’re a go-getter with big dreams, you deserve the best system. Good news! You’ve found it. RondaReady is the only place with a round-the-clock business coach and CRM in one system. And you don’t get just any johnny-come-lately coach. You get ME. And my years of successful clients. You’ll find lots of testimonials from a lot of them right here.

Marketing to everyone is like marketing to no one.

Are you marketing to everyone yet?

Please tell me your answer is, “No.” Because marketing to everyone is basically like marketing to no one. Why? Because no matter what your business is, your market isn’t everyone. There are too many kinds of people out there. And I hate to break it to you, Sparky, but some of them might not find you all that adorable. Hard as that is to believe.

Marketing to everyone doesn’t take much of a system.

If you’re sending out your ads, emails, social media posts, and other marketing material to everyone, you don’t have to be precise. And you don’t have to be too organized. Just copy, paste, and hit the send button. Rinse and repeat. No matter whose send button it is. And no matter who reads or listens to it…or not. After all, when you market that way, you’re just waiting to get some nibbles and reel ’em in.

Ah, but targeted marketing…the kind that has any hope of actually working…IS precise. And you DO have to be organized. Because you wanna track results. You wanna know your numbers. Know what’s working. And what isn’t. When you get a handle on your numbers, you can do a better job of targeting new leads. And a better job for your current customers and clients. Don’t ever wanna forget them. Because they tend to be the best source for repeat and referral business. The most cost effective kind.

OK, I know the targeted approach sounds more complicated and involved. And that’s because it is. To begin with. You do have to invest some time (or hire someone to use their time) to set up a system for tracking your work. But what’s so cool is that once you set it up, it can deliver awesome results like clockwork. For as long as you own your business.

As it just so happens (You knew it was coming, right?) my RondaReady business coach CRM system can help you do all that I’ve mentioned. And tons and tons more. The wide variety of success stories from my clients is proof. They’ll tell you, I really, really do want to help you get RondaReady and…

Fall forward because it sure beats falling backwards.

You’re gonna fall from time to time.
So, you might as well fall forward.

Recently, I saw a video where Denzel Washington said something like, if you’re going to fall, fall forward. I love the visual from that. Because when you’re falling forward, at least you can see where you’re going. And you have a better chance at controlling the fall.

Fear won’t let you fall forward

Anytime you’re too afraid to move forward, treading water in the status quo, you’re in a vulnerable position. Your competition, the ones not afraid to move forward, will easily be able to knock you backwards. And I probably don’t have to tell you, but you don’t wanna go backwards.

But when you’re going forward every day, your competition has to deal with a moving target. A target with positive, strong momentum. And momentum is the force to drive you AND your business.

But how do you keep going forward even when you don’t feel like it? Well, that’s where systems save the day. Systems help you maintain consistency. And consistency propels you towards your goal. Reaching your goals helps you reach your dreams. And when you reach your dream, you come full circle on why you even started your business in the first place.

So, which way will you fall?

That’s right! Forward. And how do you start? I recommend you surround yourself with people who will encourage you and help you to achieve your goals.

Then, get an organized plan. And follow it daily. Be consistent. And I predict you’ll start getting closer and closer to your heart’s desire. If you’re the go-getter I think you are, I know you can do it. And I developed my RondaReady business coach CRM system just for you. Take a look at my website and you’ll see a lot of other business owners who are proof it works.

So, when you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…

Business building buzz Or buzzkill?

A real business building buzz
is more than big ideas

“Everyone’s got it in him, if he’ll only make up his mind and stick with it.” ~ Charles M. Schwab – Could Chuck be talking about persistence? Oh no, not persistence. How’s anyone gonna get a business building buzz off the routine of persistence?

Persistence, success, and a business building buzz

Napoleon Hill shared 13 key behaviors to success. One of them, he listed, is persistence. More than just about anything else, persistence defines those who succeed. And a lack of it defines those who don’t.

There’s a reason why clichés are clichés. Because they have more than just a little ring of truth.

Like this one…When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

Instead of a get-tough-and-get-going attitude, most people pick up their toys and go home. But I believe a lot of those people might not pack it up and leave if they had a better plan.

As a matter of fact, another one of Napoleon Hill’s 13 keys to success is an organized plan. But how do you get one? Make it up? Or maybe find some templates on the internet?

I know most entrepreneurs love the thrill of the hunt. The anticipation of chasing down a dream or a new idea. But most entrepreneurs hate planning because it feels like it gets in the way. Muffles the muse.

Kills the business building buzz.

That’s why, in the RondaReady business coach CRM system, I devote a whole section to helping you plan, organize, and implement your great ideas. My proven system has helped scores of other excited entrepreneurs, like you, map out bold ideas with persistence on a well-paved path.

So, remember, when you’re really, really ready to get ready, get RondaReady and…

Stay Ready,
