Do you really prefer Ten hour work days?

Ten hour work days
They’re not what they used to be.

When I met Jack, almost 5 years ago, he was doing ten hour work days (or more) every day. And his phone rang non-stop. Jack’s a project manager for a roofing company. He launched this new venture about 2 years before we started working together.

Jack felt like just keeping up with the massive workload was slowly killing him. So, he was super motivated to build his business better. Within 8 months we established new RondaReady processes and strategies. And within a year Jack hired a customer care manager. Then, in less than 2 years, he hired a project manager.

Jack’s living proof you can even afford to hire employees when you build your business better. With my RondaReady system in place, employee training time decreased dramatically. So, Jack was able to focus on what he does best…bringing in even more business!

And all that extra business not only covers salaries…Jack’s gross income also increased by over 400% in the last 5 years.

Here’s what Jack says about his days, now, versus those ten hour work days…

And Jack told me, just the other day, when it comes to the day-to-day operations, he is “superfluous”. No more ten hour work days. Now, he has time to focus on other exciting business opportunities, or writing more of his fiction novels, or remodeling his house…or even just relaxing some days knowing his business continues making money without him.

That’s only SOME of the benefits of the RondaReady online business coach CRM system

Stay Ready,

Business confidence - boost yours

Do you have business confidence?

“I’m a confident man…I give people confidence.” (From Amazon Prime show Sneaky Pete) I heard that line and loved it immediately. Many business owners could use someone like that in their lives. And they certainly deserve it because running a business is hard work. It takes a lot of drive and determination, and oftentimes there’s no one around to help keep their spirits up. There aren’t enough cheerleaders in this world. But you can be your own cheerleader and give yourself more business confidence with one “trick”…
Business confidence - boost yours

Business confidence can start, AND grow, by simply asking questions.

I had a wonderful chat, just the other day, with someone on this very subject. We talked about how to respond when you’re just starting off in business and people keep asking, “So, how’s business?” or “Are you getting clients?”
Those can be some unsettling questions when you’re first starting out as a business owner. And it seems like those questions usually come from the people closest to you. I believe it’s because these well-meaning people are afraid for you. And their own fears come out as they talk to you.
Wouldn’t it be great if everybody could just be a cheerleader? If only they could just stop asking those “fear-focused” questions. And just be there to motivate and cheer for you.
Well, you can’t control what other people do or say. But you CAN control how you talk to others. And you can work on how not to take the fearful questions personally or negatively. Your business confidence can start to grow when you train yourself to have quick, effective responses. It might not feel natural, automatically. But it will do wonders for you, when you try this one “trick”. When someone asks, “How’s business?”, you quickly reply, “It’s getting better every day!” THEN…

Immediately flip the subject back around and talk about them.

Start asking them questions. Genuine questions. Show them you care about what’s going on in their life. People love to talk about themselves. Use that to boost your own business confidence. And be sure to email me about how well it worked the first time you try this.
And this is just one of many tips I share in the RondaReady online business coach CRM system. It’s an example of how I love to help you build your business better and faster and…

My favorite Entrepreneur definition

Entrepreneur definition

If you’re asking, “What’s an entrepreneur definition? And why does anybody care?”…then you might not be one. Nothing wrong with that. But I love entrepreneurs, and I’ve noticed several places, lately, where people have been looking for a clear definition. Based on my experience working with them, here are some of my thoughts…

A entrepreneur definition should include how they’re different from everybody else

If you’re an entrepreneur, you’re probably an excellent problem solver. Or you at least have the willingness to problem solve. And that puts you ahead of about 99% of everybody else. It seems like most people don’t even want to take the responsibility for problems. Much less solve them.
I met with someone, the other day, who was a little miffed about that….to say the least. He said he sees such a lack of initiative in so many people. In fact, he believes the majority of people just want to be told what to do. That sounds so sad to me. But I get it. Running a business is about so much more than showing up 8 or 9 to 5. As an entrepreneur, you’re responsible for every detail of the business. You don’t get to leave the decisions to someone else. And sometimes, if you don’t find solutions, they just plain don’t get found.
And there’s nothing more stressful than unsolved problems. But, if you’re a tried and true entrepreneur, you’re not afraid to tackle problems…or reach out and find some help.
So I think my favorite entrepreneur definition is: problem solvers. And if that describes you, the RondaReady online business coach CRM system could be the business building solution you’ve been looking for. I’m pulling for you. I want you to flourish and see great things happen in your business and your life. That’s why I’m here…to support entrepreneurs, and to help you…

What is a Contact Relationship Management System?

What is contact relationship management?

I worked in the commercial claims world for more years than I care to remember. One of the things I learned (a couple of times the hard way) during my time there was… if it’s not documented, it didn’t happen. And those experiences helped me form much better habits. One of the best habits was (and still is) contact relationship management. Here’s why that’s so important…
What is a Contact Relationship Management System?

Contact relationship management is like a personal assistant for your brain.

No matter what your business is, don’t rely on your brain to remember things. Brains are too valuable to use as storage. They’re better designed for creative activities and problem solving. Not mere note taking. Ever said this, “Hmm…I better make a mental note of that.”
When you have any business interaction or complete an activity, you should document it. Remember, if it’s not documented, it’s like it didn’t happen. Something I like to do, after every note, is add an action plan. I put it in a section at the end to remind myself  (or remind someone who helps me) what comes next. A quick example is *Note: Joe just emailed me his new phone number. And the action plan I add at the end is: *Be sure to update Joe’s new phone number in the CRM. Document all your business activities that way, and you won’t have to recall what took place OR what to do next.
In the RondaReady online business coach CRM system every contact has its own notes section. It’s also a great place to keep track of your contacts’ email history. The system includes a module to track jobs with a notes section for tracking and documenting each individual job. That’s what I call pumped up contact relationship management. And even handier than that…

It’s mobile ready complete with voice-to-text integration.

You won’t believe how easy that makes note taking. No reason to wait till you’re back at your desk! And It’s just one of the many ways I like to help you build your business better and…

CRM system examples

One of the many CRM system examples
of how automation saves time and money

I’ve noticed how people search online for CRM system examples. But there’s something even more important than system examples. And that’s examples of how the system can save your business time and money. A good system can make you AND your employees so much more productive…you might not have to hire as many helpers. Here’s what I’m talking about…

That’s just one of many CRM system examples I could talk to you about.

Time and time again, I’ve seen how the RondaReady online business coach CRM system has helped my clients like this. For time and money savings, or developing strategies to scale a business, or dozens more tools to help you build your business better, I’m sure I can help you, too. In fact, I get so much satisfaction from watching the light bulbs go off in the faces of my clients. And I never get tired of hearing how much they’ve been able to achieve during and after our time together.

I’d love to include you in the success stories. And, of course, I’d love to help you…

Small steps repeated day in and day out

Small steps repeated over and over

Have you ever watched ants? They’re so tiny. And they’re always working on something. And if you only watch them for a little while, you might not figure out what they’re doing at all. But if you come back to the same place the next day, you might find a pile of tiny particles with a hole in the middle. Those little, bitty ants played a tiny part, with small steps, in building something bigger than any of them.

A quote by Robert Collier says it like this: “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day-in and day-out.“

The small steps of the tiny ants illustrate this point.

Ants are small. And the steps they take to build something are so small they’re almost invisible. But they’re consistent. They show up for work every day. And their small steps eventually pay off.

Something else about ants…when rain (or somebody’s sprinkler system) washes away their efforts, they get right back to work. And eventually, through those small steps, they get their place built again. In other words, they don’t give up when things get tough.

Small steps repeated day in and day out

You’re better than ants. And what you’re doing with your life is much more important. So, I’d like to encourage you to keep making those small steps. Do some today. Do some more tomorrow. And don’t stop until you succeed.

And once you succeed, don’t stop there. Start on something else with small steps. You can do it. Get ready, and…

Persistence of memory

Persistence of memory in a system

I read an article about a painting by Salvador Dalí called “Persistence of Memory”. Maybe you’ve seen it? The famous painting of what looks like melting clocks. Anyway, it got me thinking about how that phrase is really just another way of saying what I’m always talking about. A repeatable system. Systems give you persistent memory you can rely on year after year. Here’s a little more about what I mean…

Persistence of memory with a repeatable system develops good habits.

The number one make it or break it factor for building your business better is persistence. You should never get caught in the trap of running your business based simply on your wonderful, sparkling personality. That’s what I call a recipe for disaster…burnout. And burnout can be avoided when you don’t depend on your brain to hold all the information of every day-to-day task. That’s why I dedicate a section of my RondaReady online business coach CRM system to burnout.

A systematic foundation provides your persistence of memory in an organized and easy-to-understand and repeatable way. I want awesome risk-takers, like you, to be around and provide great things to the world for as long as possible. That’s why I developed my online coaching system. It’s much more affordable than working one-on-one with me. And you’ll have an amazing repeatable resource at your fingertips day or night. I really can help you…

How can a business coach help me?

I’ve heard that question more than once. And if you’re a business owner or entrepreneur who’d like to ramp things up, you might be wondering, too. But when you ask, “How can a business coach help me?” I hear lyrics to the song, “Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel. No, it’s not as weird as you think. Check out the first line and see if you pick up on what I mean…

“You could have a steam train…If you’d just lay down your tracks.”

Yeah, your train can’t get where it’s gotta go until you lay down those tracks. I know it’s a lot easier to say than to do. But it’s no different than anything else in life. Think about going to the gym, or walking, or running, or working out in your own house. If you just think about it, you can talk yourself out of it because you know it’s gonna be hard. But once you move past the dread you can do it. Well, laying down the tracks…or getting your systems in place (like I prefer to call it) can affect you the same way.

And now you might be asking, “How can a business coach help me lay down tracks?”

Like I said…systems. Simple. Notice, I didn’t say “easy”. But systems help you clarify and simplify your day-to-day tasks, your to-do’s. And my RondaReady online business coach CRM system has all the systems and processes to put your mind at ease. You might say it’s your sledgehammer. Well, I’d say it anyway.

Even if it’s only in the back of your mind somewhere, you probably know where you’d like to go. A good business coach with proven systems can help you get there so much faster. I’ve seen my systems help clients do amazing things with their businesses. Don’t take my word for it. Look at the long list of testimonials on the side of RondaReady.com.

The right business coach helps you grow by helping you not only develop ideas, but also implement the steps to accomplish what you want. And just like most building projects, when you first begin, there might be some demo work. That’s where the sledgehammer (your coach with systems) really comes in handy. So, if you’re still thinking, “How can a business coach help me?” then get in touch soon. Or consider joining the RondaReady online business coach CRM system. Like Peter Gabriel said…

“Put your mind at rest…
I’m going to be…the sledgehammer”  And I’m gonna help you…

Client referrals still work

Client referrals still work

Recently I’ve read how business owners shouldn’t depend on client referrals to build new business. Maybe the key words there are “depend on”. Because I can tell you, for sure, client referrals still work. And I’m not talking about some made-up story I read somewhere online. I mean I can share this truth from personal experience…
Client referrals still work

Client referrals are the original social proof.

I was talking to one of my newer clients, yesterday. He was referred to me from another client. And this newer client told me how he saw so much change in the referring client (and his business) that he clearly should work with me. And I’m like anybody, I love a good compliment. After all, nobody gets tired of hearing how the work they do is appreciated. And a client referral? Well, there’s no better compliment.
Certainly not when it comes to measurable results like: more business, more money, more resources for your family.
Here’s a key thing to keep in mind… both of these clients are so coachable. It’s not all about how wonderful I am…or how amazing the RondaReady system is (although I am, and it is…😎) It takes both sides to make it happen. And when I get to work with someone who takes to the process like a duck to water.. oh man.. there’s nothing better.
I learned a long time ago that I tend to keep pace with my clients. In other words, I’ll run if they will. And I gotta say…these two clients I’m talking about are world class runners. So, I’m working hard to provide the pace and performance they need for learning and growing their businesses.
At my last corporate job, my boss made up the title “Performance Advocate” for me. I really liked it. And I’ve worked hard to live up to it ever since. It’s helped me develop a LOT of client referrals. That’s why I’m confident I can help you grow your business in a way where you can make more money, save more time, and have more freedom…and…

Free advice costs too much

Free Advice costs too much

Have you ever found yourself in the position of just answering a lot of questions with a potential client? If so, you’re playing the free advice game and that costs too much. And you’re the one who pays. But I have a couple of pointers to help you avoid this situation.

I talked to a client of mine, just last week, about giving out free advice.

In the course of our time together I’ve helped him build systems and processes to avoid this situation. But like we probably all have done, he found himself falling back into an old habit. He’s a nice guy, and he wants to help. So, he started answering a couple more questions with potential clients. Those couple of questions turned into a few more. And before he knew it, his whole consultation calls were turning into QandA sessions with him doing the answering.

Not a good position to be in.

And that’s why I say free advice costs too much. Because it costs you something you have an extremely limited supply of…time. It’s so important to work on building relationships before you start giving out much of your knowledge. Yes, you need to show your potential client or customer you care. But you can do that much more effectively by asking questions instead of answering them.

When you’re the one asking the questions, it does two things right off the bat. It shows the other person you’re truly interested in learning more about their business, their needs, their life. And it helps you better prepare solutions for them.

Another thing…and this is SO important…it helps you stay in control of your precious time.

You could maybe think of it like it’s giving away all the milk before they’ve invested in your cow. And if you’d like some help setting things up to avoid be the “answerer”, my RondaReady online business coach CRM system might be just the ticket. That’s my free advice for you today.

Let me help you…

Stay Ready
